Hi,
i'm an italian guy, so i'm sorry for my bad english
I bought OP3 last week, at the first day i noticed that the oneplus launcher keeps the phone active. So, i installed the nova launcher (i prefer the notify number on the icon), but i noticed that in battery statistics there is always a OnePlus Launcher item with 4-7% of battery usage. I don't have root and i can't deactivate the app in the Options-->App List... I also deleted all the data of the launcher but i have the same issue.
I thank you for the help.
Bye

Is battery life reduced when you have 2 launchers. I installed Espier and noticed now that I have 2 launchers battery life has reduced is this normal? I like the way to uninstall apps from espier. I still use TWLauncher and just use Espier to uninstall apps since I did not set a Default launcher I guess both are running simultaneously.

Activate one of the Launchers, then go to Settings > Applications > Running Services, if you see both launcher you're using in there, then yes, both are consuming battery. Normally, you should only see the launcher that is ACTIVE.
I've seen a similar behavior, but in my case is I found that the problem was with the launcher itself, in this case "GO Launcher EX", I've noticed that after a while, it will start consuming CPU (around 3%) even if it is idle, the solution I found is restarting it (the launcher).

Hey guys, I'm stumped here. I just got a new phone (BLU Vivo 5R w/ Marshmallow 6.0) yesterday. I had a BLU Vivo XL (wiith Lollipop 5.1) before this and have been running Nova Launcher Prime on it with no issues at all, but after I relaunched it on my new phone this morning, I can't get ANY of my widgets to work (keeps saying "application error. Unfortunately, Settings has stopped") and on the Tesla Unread Count list, when I try to enable count badges for my Outlook app and Google Voice app, they both give me the same error message. I've never had this issue before, and the widgets work fine if I switch back to the stock CareFree Launcher, so it has to be something in the Nova Launcher. I even uninstalled the Nova Launcher, then reinstalled it to default settings, but it still made no difference. Can someone help me with this? I really love Nova Launcher, but if it's gonna give me problems now, I'll have to find another one
Maybe try older version or email the developer he or she may help you
Older version of what? The OS, the widgets, or the launchers? I emailed Nova and BLU about it. Nova said it's something with that phone's hardware and Marshmallow. BLU has not responded yet. One interesting thing though. Just this morning, I decided to try another launcher, so I grabbed C Launcher, and it works perfectly so far. Very interesting that it does what it's supposed to, but the other launchers I've tried do not( Nova, Apex, Action, CMLauncher, Evie).
I love my realme 6 pro, but there are 2 major issues with it that I face.
1. The ram management, which is manageable cuz 8gb. Still i find it really hard to digest that system constantly used 3gigs of ram.
2. I can't use 3rd party launcher because it lags on the homescreen while switching apps. I first thought it was because of High refresh rate, switched back to 60hz but still the same. I have nova prime, lawnchair and poco launcher, all three of them lag every time I swipe back to the home screen. Like there is good few seconds pause between the swipe and seeing my homescreen, apart from that everything works fine. But, that lag is what is keeping from using any 3rd party launcher.
Aby sort of help will be appreciated.

Try disabling saving mode and enabling autostart for nova, and disable intelligint saving mode (the one that has a "recommendend" label in yellow that you find in Settings -> Battery). It worked for me, nova is not laggy anymore and battery consumption is barely affected.
Sorry for my bad english btw.

It really helped a lot with lags. It's not 100% but it's finally usable.
Thanks again, man.

Hi
Try to get ad app to see system logs (you will just have to do an ADB thing then) to identify problems.
Hi,
I've been using Nova for years now, and just upgraded to Pixel 6.
I'm currently quite embarrassingly in love with the Pixel Launcher's suggestion apps in the dock bar.
I instantly tried to switch to Nova but unfortunately I didn't find this feature there, which weirdly makes it harder to make the return to Nova.
I wanted to ask if there's any plan to add the feature, or if there's any hardware/software limitations which means this feature won't get into Nova?
