Hi,I use Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE. I recently flashed Android 6.0.1 (aosp) on my device. After that whenever I receive or answer calls it's automatically on loudspeaker. Toggling the loudspeaker button on the screen doesn't change anything.
Any help please? Thanks in advance

You need to post this in the relevant thread. Most non stock roms are a wip and subject to bugs.
This should be considered a bug report submitted to the rom creator.

Hello and thanks in advance for any help that can be offered. This is my first post on XDA so I hope I'm doing things right!
I've searched (on this forum and others) and found no answers to my issue. I've flashed JellyBam 9.1.2 onto my Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-I747). All is well and I love the options/interface but when I make or receive calls I can hear others but they can't hear me at all. Initially I flashed back to pure stock touchwiz and the mic started working fine again so I know it isn't hardware related. Upon flashing JellyBam again the mic worked initially! But the next day (and after a reboot) the mic once again won't pick up my voice on calls. I have to yell into the mic on speakerphone to be heard at all.
This is very frustrating as I've flashed other baseband/modem versions on the phone (from stock to the most current) and nothing is working with JellyBam. I've also tried other kernels to no avail. I'm stumped and beginning to think I may have to go back to basic touchwiz for this to work.
What else could i be overlooking? Are there any other custom roms that will work fine with the mics on Galaxy S3 att? Some other fix I'm not catching or doing properly. Any help at all would be great. Thanks again.
Sorry, but Jellybam is not supported on these forums, for not releasing kernel source and kanging features that are not theirs. I advise you to flash a ROM here on XDA and see if you can reproduce the problem. This is not the right place to be posting this, there is a Q&A section for questions. Welcome to XDA!
Hello,
I recently installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 on my Samsung Galaxy SIII, everything is fine I'm happy it consumes less battery and works faster. But when someone calls me I have to turn my microphone and speaker because it's allways turned off.
Any help to enable speaker & microphone automaticaly every call?
Thanks for your time.

When not on call, what is your volume settings ?
Also please go to Settings > Apps. In there, there should be 2 apps, Dialler and Phone. Please wipe the data and cache for both and then reboot.
Thanks, but it just worked after some phone calls or just after reboot... It's really weird.
hangouts dialer problems mic not working end call speaker not working
Hi,
I have a couple android phones and hangouts dialer works just fine on my rooted htc evo 3d. The galaxy s3 sprint phone has problems with hangouts dialer that maybe some one can help me with.
The microphone is not working again. Last time I did an update it stopped working so I uninstalled and reinstalled and it started working again. Today it will not work again and I tried reinstalling the app but it did not work.
The speakerphone and end call button will not work on the galaxy s3 sprint phone. when I select these items it takes me back to the main dialer page showing an ongoing call. I can not hang up and I have to shutdown the phone to end call. If I have bluetooth connected these end call and speakerphone buttons will work though.
Does anyone know what the problem is with the galaxy s3 on hangouts dialer? Maybe I should just stick to HTC phones for now on?
Same problem here. Only fix so far is using a Touchwiz ROM. Lame. Hopefully someone fixes this. Stay vocal and talk to the devs. Ive been trying to sort this out all month. No one is of much help, honestly.
STAY VOCAL.

on the latest CM11 and 12.1 (unsupported) I found that it activates the microphone on the TOP of the phone, rather than at the bottom. Not sure how to swap it around. Had to go back to stock
I noticed that the "mute connected phone" stopped working for calls since the latest wear update (1.0.4.1580939) . It works fine for notifications but phone calls still ring my phone. Is it only me, or is it a general problem?
(Nexus 5, Android L - LRX21O)
Seems ok for me. Maybe its an Android L problem?
I am still on Kit Kat on my Note 3, unrooted.

hello, since my nexus 5x is back from service with replacement motherboard, I upgraded to OREO 8.0 and then 8.1 both in stock and now with Twrp and magisk I have the following problem with whatsapp:
-listening to a voice message, away from face, the sound comes out of the speaker at low volume, bringing it closer to the face, the screen turns off properly but the sound always comes out of the speakerphone speaker at higher volume! never leaves the phone capsule !!
the proximity sensor works correctly.
some idea?
I already tried hard reset etc ..
I have the same problem, also motherboard replaced device.
I was looking for a solution and found this thread
the only temporaly help i found is to mod the audio with dolby mod, so i have the audio in the both speaker!
but it'snt helpfull! :crying:
I have the same problem, my phone is stock, not rooted and got the motherboard changed a few months ago. but i've noticed this particular problem just a couple of weeks ago. hope there's a fix!
P.S. the problem occurs just with Whatsapp, i don't have this problem on audio messages in Telegram

Same problem here, only with WhatsApp. I would say the problem is related to Android Oreo, both 8.0.0 and 8.1.0, I have this problem since I updated my phone.
Same problem here but with Nexus 6P.
i don't think so... I really believe it might be related of Oreo update and something with the app itself... otherwise it would have happened in other apps too!
Same problema since I update to Oreo stock 8.1. ?
Same here. After updating to Oreo 8.1
Any Solution? ?
Now in telegram too

Downgrade from Android 8.1 to 8.0.
Search for: developers google factory images nexus
After this inactivate automactic system update on Developer options and keep 8.0 version until Google releases a version (perhaps 8.2 or 9) that fix this problem.
