[REQ] Method to hide taskbar on lockscreen?

I was wondering if there is any way to hide the taskbar when the screen is locked, but have it shown when using the phone. It would make my phone look absolutely amazing. I'm using the clear lockscreen mod, with the Sprint banner replaced by a space. If there is a way to do this, it would basically make the phone a digital picture frame with a clock on it. See the screen for what I mean.

I didn't want a new thread, but is there any way to extend the timer before the screen turns off before you unlock the device?

Are you talking about the screen timeout? menu - settings - display?

No, I mean the base slide lock screen, from when you first turn on the device. Is there a way to control how long it will display the clock and wallpaper before turning the screen off due to no entry?

Pattern lock screen

ive looked for in the settings but i cant remove it. Anyone know how to?

Settings- Lock screen- Screen lock- Select Swipe or any option you want. It might ask you to do the pattern once again to remove it.

Change lockscreen?

Hey guys I totally dislike the TouchWiz lockscreen... how can I change it?

Settings, my device, lockscreen.

Lmao. I should a been more specific I want a swipe to unlock. More like aosp

Guess you have to wait for a dev to cook up a rom and add it.

Unless you're absolutely apposed to to using a different launcher, you can use Smart Launcher and enable the lock screen. It will give you the AOSP style with many themes to choose from. The TW widgets work on it as well. I use Smart Launcher on every device I have.

Go to Gallery. Select a picture, open options (bottom left button) , scroll down select Set As. You can select to change your lock screen.

That is only changing the lock screen wallpaper. He is wanting to change the actual lock screen to this.

(GUIDE) How to get one new unlock effect

I noticed that 530H XXU have a unlock effect that does not exict in xcu
So i figured out how to get it
Tested on
530H XCU
530H XXU
531H
it will work on all varients
Need:
Sqlite editor
Root (of course)
How to get it :
1-Open sqlite editor
2-Grant root
3-scroll down until you see settings storage and tap on it
4-tap on settings.db
5- tap on system
7- press search button and write " ripple "
8- now press on "lockscreen_ripple_effect" and press pencil button(edit)
9- change the value to 3 and save
11- REBOOT
12- press thanks if i helped
Note : for xxu and 531H you will get tension effect
if anything went wrong i will help you
and everyone test it report what new effect he had

The new effect i got is like the screenshot
And here's the effect list
change it to 0, you get the original circle lockscreen.
change it to 1, you get the water ripple effect.
change it to 2, you get the lens flare effect.
change it to 3, you get the particle effect.
change it to 4, you get the N3 water effect.
change it to 5, you get an Xperia-like effect.
change it to 6, you get something like the circle lockscreen, but with a line.
change it to 7, you get something that's a mixture between original circle lock and ripple lockscreen.
The list works depending on your device

you will only get

There's no need to sqlite editor
I already have this unlock effect
Install this app like normal apk

And touch phone logo and select "Popping colors"
And get this unlock effect, "Ripple" and "Light effect" is stock unlock effect, other effects not working

Where is the "setting storage" n "setting.db" n "system" ? I cant find it. I granted root on sqlite, wht should i do now?

Any way to remove the ugly shadow gradient in the quick settings?

I can't be the only one this eyesore bugs. Is there a way remove or mask it?

lol No, I'm talking about the shadow at the bottom not the icons. I guess the screenshot isn't showing my issue off very well.

To see the shadowing one must turn the brightness to the max. I don't know how to get rid of it. I know I don't have it but I am in Nougat. And not so many icons can be presented at once.

Screenshot does show it quite well, I see what you mean. I guess it may look different on different screens ... and eyes [emoji14]
That said, I don't know how to fix it. Maybe try looking at some Xposed modules (you are running Marshmallow, right?)
