Hi Everyone,
Bought this head unit on ebay, and a newbie to android. Was reading a lot on things to do to customize, and came across this forum many times.
I want to unlock "Developer options" but this unit doesn't display the "Build Version" to unlock it.
Here are the specs:
CPU Information: Cortex-A9 Dual Core (MStar/Cedric)
RAM information: DDR3 1GB
Android version: 4.4.4 (Actually has 4.2.2 Jelly bean)
MCU version: 4.3.14-1-10-610101-150525
System version: 2.9.5_20150722
Any info on this unit would help me greatly, I can't even find a model number, but the box did say Tocado (with a different unit on the box)

You would need to have a custom ROM. But since your headunit is not a MTCB type I have not seen any custom roms for your type. I have the "developer options" enabled on my custom ROM. Try searching XDA android auto thread and see if any support is available or if you could have it enable some other way.

I recently just bought a Android Head unit. I've seen videos and pictures of what seems to be the same head unit on the outside. But I know that the actual software and version of Android may very on different models. I'm so lost into finding what model or even what MCU version I have. I'm wanting to know what model and MCU version I have. I would like to root the device and put a custom rom onto it. Seems how I don't like how the device is setup from the factory. Any help is appreciated Thanks (also new user and it says I can't post outside links so I cannot provide pictures of the unit that I attended too)

Unfortunately you are in the wrong section. You don't have a MTCB unit. Your MCU looks like AN21U, you might want to check that thread for help on your unit.

I have two questions;
In these web i´ve seen roms for MTCB-"XXX"....... but i dont find roms for MTCB-"KD" my question is if you can tell me what version can i install??
The other question is ; The radio is already rooted, Why i cannot enter to the develop options for activate the usb debugging, usually on all my android devices i go to "Phone information" , and i press for some times to "compilation number" and the develop option get activate, but on these radiocar unit it doesnt activate. Is there any other options for activate it?

Just flash a 4.4 ROM for your CPU and resolution. Assuming you have a MTCB or MTCC unit (check the MCU string if unsure, it should start with one of these two) you have many ROMs to choose from, OEM and custom. Just look into the MTCB Software Development section.

My issue: i have recently bought an unbranded Chinese head unit for my car and found it running on android version 4.4 KitKat and i would like to update it to the latest version available. But unfortunately, i am not sure what model the head unit is and which rom to flash. Also, I am not sure how to enter recovery mode on this head unit. Tried contacting the seller but no proper reply.
I am unable to attach an image of the interface or player, hence I have provided the system details:

My name is Hans and I am from Germany. My english is not the best, but I try very hard.
I have a Erisin ES6291V PX6 4GB RAM 32GB memory. Unfortunately, this is not a device with MTCx MCU, but with STM32, so I can not use any of the popular custom ROMs (Hal9k, Malaysk). Is this right?
Is there any custom roms for this device or is it to be expected that will be available in the future?
Here I still have the original firmware from the device.

Suggest avoiding and looking for an MTCD/E PX6 - based on number of threads, modified ROMs, recovery from brick and extensive info.
Hi Folks!
I got Erisin HU (ES6291V)

I was able to enable 48 hours sleep mode in factory settings menu. But when I set, the HU become unstable and sometimes does not start (black screen, have to reset), or does not go to sleep and suck the accumulator of the car. Is there a fix for this problem? Do you have got a MCU and/or firmware update for it? What is your advice?
