Guys, i was near to buy the OP3 but the notification issue make me rethink about it.
On Oneplus Forum there are plenty of posts related to Push Notification thread about disabling doze etc.
But i would like some deep explanation from a dev who can help me to understand why this issue is persistent in OP3 and not in other devices. Does custom rom can fix it or it's all in OP hands?! Some people said that Doze "fault" but this does not explain why other devices work well. I cant find anything more specific to understand what's not working on OP3. Thank you !

The board is undergoing some major revamp and this issue is a pain but to small to fix as it will go away when the new system is implemented.
Do I have a date on this?
Sorry no
Are we aware about it?
Yes for a long time and its been coverd before (in the mod section I am sure about on the board I think but dont know for sure.
Hey,
Thanks Thanks
It is only a small niggle and it will be no problem waiting for the board revamp to happen. Thanks for the reply.

OK, now I don't have to report it again as it's already reported.
Because it's still the same niggle.
Hi everyone!
I recently installed LiquidSmooth on my ROM, and I absolutely love the feature of being able to modify texts directly from notification center (Reply/Mark As Read/etc.). Unfortunately it doesn't support personalized notifications, though, for people [certain text sounds/LED colors for specific contacts], or call blocking.. I was wondering if anyone has discovered an alternative text messaging application which may allow this, or whether it's only available through native .. ): ..
I was also wondering if there is an alternative dialer that supports the Google Voicemail integration.. I've been using ExContacts, but it doesn't seem like they do.. [I like it for its swipe left/right for text/call]. I was going to just use ExContacts as my contacts manager and the native call log, but just wondering if there exists another call log application that supports Google VM?
[For LiquidSmooth Users -->] .. since I'm asking a gazillion questions as is.. wondering if anyone knows how to modify the strength of the vibrate? I see a "Vibrate Multiplier" option, but it doesn't modify all of my notifications [I noticed some apps have the option of modifying the strength, but others do not] .. Also, I know some people have been asking this, but have people discovered a way to lower the LED brightness for notifications?
(And I did do my best to Google/search forums/read threads, but I couldn't find answers to these questions.. ;-; .. I was going to post in the developer thread, but I realized I didn't have enough posts ^^;; .. but I will be trying to be more active so hopefully I can get there too so that I can post in the arguably more suitable sections :3)
Thanks so much for anyone who has thoughts/ideas! ^^ .. This forum has been very helpful and able to answer all my other questions so .. win! ^^

Hi there, everyone!
First of all, I'm TRULLY sorry if I'm posting this thread anyhow mistaken.
It's way too complicated for begginers like me to understand the right thread or forum to place questions about devices and stuff like that.
I've searched a lot of threads related to my device but I couldn't find the correct answer to my question, so here I am.
Well, let's see: I have an Asus Zenfone 2. Really like it but I just can't stand those ****ty Asus apps that comes in every device of the brand.
Question is: is there any way to flash the stock rom (I REALLY love the features and settings Asus has on its cellphones) without most of those apps (that, basically, just occupies space and memory) or maybe selecting which ones I want to install? That would be awesome and I appreciate any help that might come in handy!
Many thanks!

Hey brother, I have the phone and have been using it for some months now. It does limit the background apps, but contrary to Xiaomi and other chinese brands, it's really easy to stop the phone from doing so. There's a configuration on the device's settings called Performance Optimization that you can use to limit or unlimit app background activity. You also have the option to completely deactivate the feature and let the apps run on the background at will. Here are some screenshots that I took to better show what I'm talking about (the apps are censored for security/privacy reasons)

Oh yeah, I saw this post while navigating the forums. Thought of answering it, but I figured it was better to do it here since this is a specific thread for this question. Anyway, you're welcome.
