Mi band 1s vibrates with no reasons - General Accessories

Hello there. I have a problem with my mi band. A long time ago I set up an alarm, I've used it for a few days, then I deleted it, but the band is still vibrating at that time and I still couldn't have stopped nor understand why it happens. There is no alarm set up and there are no notifications when it vibrates. Did anyone else have my same issue ? Is there anyway to solve it or I can throw the band to garbage bin ?

Have you tried setting up all 3 alarms and then removing it again? Do you use Mi Band Tools?

No, I have MiFit. By the way, I've already solved. Anyway thanks for your answer

What was the solution?

This had happend to me two or three times in the past couple of days. I have a tasker action to set automatically on silent, so I thought it was a wrong triggered action. I did not give it importance but now reading your post it start worrying me. Hope this dont be something problematic. If you discover something please share it, I will investigate also.
This has not happend me again. It was quite strange. Has it happend to you again?

Yes this still happens. Ive noticed my phone goes to silent automatically at 10pm pacific. Anyone know why this is happening? I dont recall ever having a a set time for my phone to go silent.
have you check the quiet hour? in the Sound menu..
headphone jack
possibly the headphone jack is fluffed up like my other og it thought the headphones were in when they werent so i got no notification noise or anything check for that?
My E975 has a habit of randomly going silent at random hours. I can only get out of it by restarting - there is no "silent" indication in the status menu. Makes my girlfriend really upset if I don't reply her messages after an hour or so ...

Mi Band keeps disconnecting

I'm using Mi Band 1 and Mi Band Tools for notifications but I have some problems:
1. Alarm is not working - I have set it and band is not vibrating
2. Band keeps disconnecting - from time to time the band starts vibrating like when pairing with phone and I have to tap it a few times to connect. It is pretty annoying because I have to pair it few times a day.
When I had installed Mi Fit and paired the band there, the band would disconnect more often.
Does anyone have solution to that?
It it only me having such problems?

1. The alarm doesn't work that way on miband or any other band for that matter. Instead set it on the band itself through the mi fit app.

Mi Band 4 could not measure heart rate

I have bought recently a mi band 4 and when I was setting it up I could not measure heart rate and I do not know why.
Does anyone faced this problem and have fixed it?
I already have reinstalled MI FIT from my Redmi Note 6 PRO, reset factory the MB4 and paired with Amazfit app and I got the same result.
I am looking for the ROM to reinstall the firmware of MB4 as well but unfortunately, I could not find any tutorial or link to reinstall the firmware on it. If someone has the ROM and the software to reinstall the firmware I will be glad.

I have the same problem, I opened a support ticket for customer support and I am awaiting a response. I noticed that the sensor does not switch on, the LED remains off.

You might have luck with this manual installation of custom ROM. However I do not know how to return to 100% stock, should you want to apply for your warranty (no idea if the service center would check FW version). https://geekdoing.com/threads/international-firmware-for-mi-band-4.970/

Thank you dude but it doesn't work yet. Sad. I still looking for a solution.
I have a strange heart rate monitoring issue. I can manually check the rate at any time and it works without problem. I have the band set to check every 10 minutes and during sleep too. Once in every 5,6 days, heart rate is not recorded for duration of about 1 hour.
I did factory reset but didn't seem to help. I thought the sensor wasn't clean, so I was periodically but doesn't seem to fix. It's not too loose on my wrist, I see the mark of sensor on my wrist when I take off to ensure it's not loosely fitted. Don't know what's causing this strange behavior.

Is your green LED blinking during HR measurement? If not, ask for a warranty repair/replacement.

Have you tried fastening/loosening the band on your hand or measuring on the underside of the wrist?
Same problem here, I can do it manually by putting the sensor at 1cm from my wrist (as stated I don't remember where)
but it dosen't works automatically to monitor while sleeping for example.

Hi, some days ago just received a brand new Mi band 5 and today i realised that presents the same behavior that you described so i wonder to ask if you found some solution to this problem.
Actually this is the only information about this problem with the mi band HR measurement.

No vibration on Redmi Note 8 Pro

Hello XDA community and devs.,
As a title says, - my Redmi Note 8 Pro don't vibrate at all. This is a new 128/6ram global phone (in white box), MIUI 11.0.2 PGGMIXM). I just received this phone 2 day ago.
1. I tried turn on vibration via settings everywhere, didn't worked.
2. I tried turn off battery saver, - didn't worked.
3. I turned vibration via notification bar by pressing on 'Vibrate' icon, - didn't worked.
4. I downloaded various apps from Google Play by search "Vibrate test" and none of these apps in testing made my phone vibrate.
When I asked my friend to bring his Redmi note 8 pro (128/8ram - from red box, but same MIUI version), to compare both phones using same settings and my phone didn't vibrate, but my friend's phone did!
What I didn't tried yet.
1. Reset phone to factory settings.
2. To flash phone using MI flash tool software for fresh version of MIUI. But I don't want to do this, because phone's bootloader is locked and I may lose my phone's warranty by doing this (not sure here, need to read Banggood warranty policy).
I already submitted a feedback in MIUI, just not sure how this can help me. Maybe you guys had faced this vibration problem before and can advice me about I should do next, because I have bad feeling this is about hardware and this Redmi Note 8 Pro is simple defective.
Thanks for reading and for advice. o7

Little update, I did phone factory reset, - still no vibration in phone.
If u find any solution, do help me too. As my vibrational motor is too low....
You can specifically test target the vibration motor using the MIUI Hidden Settings app from XDA Labs,
If you cannot make it vibrate and vibrate mode is on, I guess you have to return it.
Many other users have the same rom and I have not seen many complaining about this problem.
Good luck,
Regards,

Sound Issue: No internal speaker/No microphone/No sound by bluetooth

Hi guys,
Im here to speak about my mi 10t who got some sound/mic issue.
Everything was working good but one day, the phone muted himself on stock Rom.
When i tried to use the tap recorder, the app said "verify if an app is using the microphone an try again."
I try to put a Custom rom on it but it's the same with Lineage Os.
Now, internal and external speaker stoped working. Microphone too.
the bluetooth connect well to a device but when i play a song, no sound happen.
Even on twitter or reddit, when i tried to play a video its say, Error to load the video.
When i tried to call someone, the app close immediately
I can only send sms and read them.
Please helps
Hello,
I have the same problem just like you 1 month now, tried everything , even install custom ROMS but the problem remains.
Did you drop your phone down? I cant remember that i did , but if i shake my 10T pro near my ears i can hear that something is moving inside my device.
The temporary fix that i had was to reboot many times my device and reopen it , clear the data from phone services , but couldnt find any permanent fix though.
Does anyone else has this?

Hey!
I am running lineage and the problem is still there !
Ahah, a friend just remember me that i threw a whole beer on it during a party like 3 months ago..
I totaly forgot that and i think i was too drunk to remember.. unfortunately!
But the phone is like new and nothing is moving inside
Yes if i reboot/wipe data 363637x time it has a chance to work but the problem come back fast
I use a second phone where i put my sim on it and play with the mi10
It's sad because that 144hz screen is fkin good
And i still can't Say if it's a software or an hardware bug.
Because if i open the phone, change the internal/external speaker for nothing i will be a bit pissed
But still a good phone even muted aha

Hey,
Thanks for the answer.
I had a similar accident as well . My question though is what causes the sound issue. if i try to reboot/wipe this (which i dont want to wipe all my data every week ) there is a change also for me to work.
Do you have any idea how can i fix this ? should i give it to somebody who can open it for me as its a hardware issue?
I have the same problem, has anyone found the solution?

Entirely unrelated to the issue, but just to calm some folks
The Mi 10T Pro model rattles because the camera has OIS (the camera module itself moves). This can also give a slight rattling effect when playing very loud music
Don't worry about it

Try to open the phone x50 times and dont let it close again....This is the only way that i found out , but cant/ dont have the time to switch it off x50 times.
same problem here...
i've dropped my phone one time and after that, no sound at all.
the assistance shop said that all the components were good, but the problem remains
my last try was to flash the xiaomi stock rom, but no results
Had a similar issue.
Even multiple factory resets also didn't help.
However tried another sim and did a reset and it was working fine.
Now then after few days it again happened
Now this time I probably understood what was triggering the issue. I had paired my headphones(Bluedio Turbine) with both my laptop and phone. Using one at a time it was working fine. However if there's a call from both laptop and phone then the phone went into this state.
Again tried resetting multiple times. This time tried replacing the sim with a different sim. Different from the one in previous attempt and the sim change trick also did not work. Then tried again with the same sim which had fixed it earlier and it worked.
So in short these are the steps that helped me. Seems like only sim might have worked however don't know for sure.
Take proper backup of your data. Also this may or may not work for you.
Factory reset from settings.
Shutdown phone.
Press volume up and power button and hold them for some time till the phone starts up.
Use power button and volume key to wipe data.
I did this 3-4 however I think so it is t required.
Replace your sim with another sim. I had replaced my Airtel sim with a different Airtel sim and it worked for me. However replacing Airtel with jio did not help.
Start the phone.
Setup the phone.
Phone might start behaving fine.

Ignore this. This again happened after the last fix. Now again I can not use the mic. In CIT check if I try to test any of the mics, top or main the app crashes. Seems to be related to the mic. However don't understand how come event Bluetooth calls fail.
Another thing that I tried was putting the phone in refrigerator for around 10-15 mins. The phone was switched off before being put in the refrigerator. It generally works after that.
However it is generally good only till a restart.
Try at your own risk.
Must be something to do with the firmware only. And problem seem to be happening at the time of a reboot. Right at the time when MIUI logo appears during a reboot, if you dont hear the bootup sound, then the system audio wont work.
What fixes for me is multiple reboots until you hear the bootup sound. Most of the time, it takes just a couple of reboot. Max it has taken for me is 7.
Problem with loading of audio driver?!
Hi all,
Is there any update on that issue ? I still have that phone doing nothing at the moment. So i was wondering if there is any chance to use it.
I have the same problem.

New Mi10T Pro - No Sound at all
Brand new device. Flashed custom OS (Arrow OS and google pixel)- no sound at all. No Youtube sounds, no call sounds, no media sounds, even Bluetooth, even with headphones. Phone are silent absolutely. Please help. Thanks in advance, guys!
forum.xda-developers.com
you may find a solution there.
I still have the error
Still same problem here. I even updated to a custom rom, but no difference. Even sound via bluetooth does not work nor sound via USB.
Anyone has a theory how that could happen?
