Hi, Is anybody else feeling slight static, electric presence while charging their Oneplus 3?
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
No
Yes sometimes. It also happens with my HP laptop which has a metal body. Ive seen rotating the wall charger 180 degrees helps.
Yes I feel the same. But I think it's nothing to worry about

Yes I do. It feels like low intensity vibrations when I handle the phone while charging.
This might be due to the iffy grounding in my flat though.

I left my G3 on Charge for around an hour and when I came back the charger was making a high pitched noise. I took it out straight away and found out that it was the charger head making the noise, the usb cable was fine. Has this happened to anyone else? And does the official charger head charge the phone any faster? Cause I'd rather use a different one to be safe.
I have been using the Galaxy Nexus charger, it does charge it faster than the office charger.
If I recall correctly the Nexus charger Amp is higher than the official one coming from G3
I'm having the same issue. So annoying. Started to use my old S4 charger which works the same just minus the noise. I'm going to see if getting different charger will help.
I have had this with every LG device I have ever owned, including the Nexus 4 and 5
Mine makes a very hard to hear buzzing noise sometimes maybe it's my ears. I have bad hearing anyway from the military but I swear it buzzes ever so faintly.

If you have bad hearing then I'm surprised you were able to actually hear that. Might not be as bad as you think
Any who, chargers and any other power converting devices(wall warts, things that don't use direct mains) sometimes regularly make very high pitched whines, mostly they are too high pitched for people to be able to hear it though. Nothing to worry about, it's a thing that kinda happens

It's just certain frequency ranges that I can't hear , really high ones in particular and some lower ones. But this make note of a buzzing noise similar to florescent lights.

Does anyone experience tiny flickering of display? Especially when brightness is set to minimum. It gets worse when phone is on charger.
Sent from my Elephone P8000 using Tapatalk
Not I anyway, that shouldn't happen so it points to a fault perhaps with the lcd panel? It doesn't happen on higher brightness or perhaps not so noticeable? Strange that it is worse when on charger - suggests electrical interference of some kind?

Read my last thread, maybe it helps you.
Greetings Marco
I tried your method but to no avail, screen flickering continues. It's very random though. Sometimes it only appears then I'm physically touching screen. Strange

Has anyone else found the scroll/swipe speed to be slow on the Nexus 5X compared to other handsets? Annoyingly, I can't find any settings for this.
The issue is global and not limited to one app. With pointer trails on, there is visible lag between my finger's input and what happens on-screen. I've never seen this on any other device.
Thanks,
Ian
for me happen when is charging..
Ah, I hadn't spotted that! I've tested, it is significantly worse when charging. Barely noticeable / normal on battery.

Also noticed it, and it does seem to be when charging.
Same here

Yikes...the fact it changes with charging would make me nervous that it is a hardware defect, like bad grounding or something.
My phone is unusable whilst charging due to the touch screen lag!!!

This could be a real deal breaker for me as I use my phone frequently whilst plugged in and charging. I will give it approximately a week to find a solution otherwise back it goes under the distance selling regulations.: (
Been an LG problem since the G2. Buggy, stuttering laggy response from display while charging. Nexus 5 did it, G2, G3 etc. Some people report different chargers affect how bad it can be or possibly cure it. But that's a challenge when everything is proprietary to the 5x.
That's the worst news I've heard about this device so far. Lots of things can be dealt with. But when you HAVE to use it while charging this could be a deal breaker. Damn.
I've noticed this happens on a number of devices (including an iPhone 5s) and found it's due to a cheap wall charger that can't regulate voltage properly. Anybody happen to have aftermarket wall chargers or can plug it into a USB 3.0 port? Maybe somehow the stock chargers have a defect.

I have not had any issues. This thing is leaps and bounds smoother than my S6E.
I have tried charging with a USB A to USB C cable and this fixes the touch screen lag so it does appear to be an issue with the supplied charger or cable.
I'm experiencing the same issue when the phone is charging using the supplied charger.
Just tried a separate cable I bought and plugged it into a USB 3 port and it seems to be better.
Not the best start to owning a brand new phone....
am I correct in thinking that in order for an electrical device to be 'grounded', it must have an 'earth' pin in the plug?
generally, USB power adapters to not have an earth - US ones don't, and UK ones do not either (they have a plastic pin instead of an actual metal pin).
I could be barking up the wrong tree, of course but still... may be a factor?
Mine does this when charging. Seems to be worst in the bottom right of the screen. Annoying.
I took my 5X back to Carphone Warehouse due to this issue and another audio problem. The assistant whom helped me was great and the replacement 5X no longer has the issues I was suffering. I am typing this whilst charging right now something that was almost impossible on the previous device. I urge all others with this problem to exchange their device.
I find it only occurs when I'm fast charging, has the issue gone for you on both slow and fast charging?

After replacing my 5X I have no issues with the touchscreen whilst charging rapidly. I urge all others with this issue to seek a replacement.
That sounds positive james7dean. I'd be interested to hear if this issue doesn't appear to be present on later units (later than day 1 purchases anyway) for others too - it would be a pain to return the handset and start again, but worth doing if its going to work!
Thanks,
Ian
My 5x was manufactured Oct 2015 and I don't have this issue.
The devices manufactured in September 2015 seem to have more problems (yellow screen, poor performance, etc). I wander if there is a correlation here.

Guys please help me I've just bought my nexus 5x and yesterday I was reading some thing and scrolling and while holding my finger during the scrolling the screen is shaking rapidly as if I'm doing fast up and down scrolling and this is occurring in all apps, lock screen, settings and everywhere.
Do a factory on it. See if that fixes

Is the charger connected?
Check out this video of my nexus 5x screen shaking, and observe the battery icon to see when the charger is connected.

Some of the provided LG sunlin charges have a fault where screen sensitivity gets worse while plugged in, maybe could be related?
But i tried other chargers but it still exists

It happens to me too, what can we do? software or hardware?
this happen on my old gnex, makes anything typing related impossible to use. the phone still going strong until today though.
I also have this problem. Do you know a fix?

I had this problem with my old nexus 5. For the 5X which I am now using, the problem is much less that it is not noticeable normally, but the little shaking can be seen when using apps which trace the path of finger movement. Anyway it's not recommended to use the phone while charging, and there are some reports that people got electric shock doing this.
Hi,
I noticed that my Oneplus 3 has very high CPU usage and gets hot, if the display faces my leg in my pocket.
I suspect that this happens because of the home button activating the phone constantly and the nearing/body sensor not preventing it. I disabled all display gestures etc.
My nearing sensor definitely works, so this is a software issue.
Did anyone experience this too?
