Absolutely no idea. But is it essential on a tablet? I've never used it once on mine.
I have t700 demo unit and it's working perfectly. You can flash it to stock without any problem although mine came with stock firmware without any demo apps. Only problem is that most of them have screen burn in and how bad is screen burn in depends of how much tab was used. I have mine for few months and burn in isn't that bad. GPS is working fine and everything else. And price seems to high, i paid mine around 140 $.

I found a sealed unit of it for 200$. The only decide is to let the store flash stock or post it to me sealed and I will do it myself.

If you do the search the info will come up. It's been posted several times.
You may want to look at some other options, at about $200. For that money you should look at the Shield tablet and others.

Thanks for the support of an entirely different manufacturer in a Samsung forum.
I need it mainly for docs, pdf and movies.
I don't have time for gaming.
Another thought is to buy a used regular one.
Probably worse choice especially if the demo is completely new and you told me that converting it to regular is pretty easy.

Yes the demo conversion is very easy but the screen burn-in could be an issue.
Not if it new and unused...

Which was relevant to the device forum it was posted in.
I got my t700 for 180$ from eBay and lucky me they sent me the live demo unit I ordered and another new unpacked unit and didn't wanted it back
so I got 2 galaxy tab s for 180$
the live demo unit has a small not for sale print at the back, but it doest annoy me. Also a small Amoled screen burn in is present but it's visible only with white background. The funny thing there is that the screen burn in is caused by the boot animation. I have a Samsung logo burn in in the midle of the screen...
I am happy with my purchase, the 180$ I spent only for the demo unit is its money worth
I build Sucuk Rom on the demo unit so yes, it's the same as a normal t700
GPS is there also.
Thank you for answering.
Really appreciate you'll!

search usb jig on ebay buy any its not phone specific any jig works with epic touch 4g... i would post a link but i just gave you the information u needed
I bought one from dealextreme dot com for $1.60 shipped. I would post a link, but my post count is too low. Search for USB jig on the site. The D710 is not listed as a supported device, but it does work. The only downside is that it took about two weeks for delivery.

I tried looking on eBay for a USA seller but gave up. I found a site in the usa, but its more expensive and I can't vouch for them. Usbjig.com
I'm guessing you'd get it quicker than if it were shipped from the other side of the world.
I just ordered one from here

Should be here within a few days. History said 79 sold and he is at 100% feedback so I'd recommend you buy away

Same. Husker, did you already try to bring it back to Sprint after using the Jig? If so, how did it go?
I'm a little apprehensive about it.
Here is the link for the one I got. http://usbjig.com/ Its a little more pricey at $5.50, but I would recommend. Really fast shipping like 2-3 days, works well, have used it a few times. No complaints here
I bought one for amazon for $5.50 I believe. It's from a seller in South Carolina so I hope it'll come soon. Make sure you buy it from a US seller though because most are from Hong Kong and they take weeks to come
I just ordered one of these....looks pretty legit. We'll see.....
Thanks for the suggestion.
(i'm too new to post the real link, but you get the idea)

Two in a week!? ::shakes head in disbelief::
She should have got you a flip phone for borking two phones in a week.
I got this one off Amazon... was $0.01 + shipping (Shipping was like $4.something)
I tested it and it works exactly as described.

Looked like one guy didn't know how to use it and another bricked the phone so bad it didn't do anything.

Be prepared to possibly get one with worse, or different problems.
I think I lucked out and got a pretty good one, first buy. But I have heard a lot of people saying it takes their 3rd or 4th phone before they get one that's just right.

It's really not a "defect", per se, it's just what these screens do. If you get a replacement, it's going to have the same problem eventually as well. Just kinda have to accept it for these types of displays.
So I'm thinking of buying a Used GS3 or Nexus 4. Since the GS3 has expandable memory that's what I'm leaning towards.
Anyway, what kind of things should I ask/look for when getting a used GS3 other than scratches and cracks?
The best and safest thing you can do is meet the seller at a Tmobile retail store. Have an employee check the status of the phone. They can even make a note that the phone has been sold and the original owner cannot report it stolen or lost.

The biggest thing you need to look out for is the screen is in good condition, IMEI isn't blacklisted, and obviously that the phone isn't hard bricked.

Any common problems with the phone? (For example, the Nexus 7 screen lift.)
I've never encountered any issues with my S3 and I use it constantly. I'd just make sure the phone isn't stolen or blacklisted. Back in the day I bought a phone off of eBay, went to activate it, turns out it was stolen...

No, nothing I can think of and I've had mine since December now, almost 6 months. I also do have Nexus 7, but I don't think I even have a screen lift problem with it.

I bought and returned 3 Nexus 7s early on because of problems like the screen lift so it's why I ask.
I also saw that some Nexus 4s had some back glass lift problems and the HTC One has some separation/cracking issues.
I don't think I've read anything about the Samsung phones though other than the plasticky feel.

Good reason to buy from Google, I suppose.
The downside to buying from Google is that you have to pay taxes if you buy from Google (at least in my location).

Yes, i am in the south US, It took about a week to get it. I paid for the DHL 3-5 day I think. I ordered on a Thursday and got it the next Saturday. I would recommend getting it from there. the cost is the same, the delivery time is only a day or so longer but you get the correct part. A few bucks cheaper and a tad faster delivery doesn't mean crap if you can't put a working camera in your phone. FIXEZ.com ended up sending me the wrong part a total of 3 times. The first two were the camera for a I9500, which simply will not work and the third was a I9505 camera but the wrong core. The'tech" I spoke with kept saying he was going to personally pull the part. Witrigs is the way to go
