They did not released yet. They said "soon". They did not give any specific dates. Read article.

I did. They didn't give specifics but they said it was confirmed via the forum. Only after I went to the only linked source in the article (yibada) did I discover that the writer is a jerk.

Yeah, yet another article referencing the ATT Forums - Forums in which ATT made no such comment.
This article also quotes and article which quotes an article. Lots of NON-reporting going on.
Every few days someone will post something like this and when it finally does come out, the last guy will say he was "in the know"
I really should've checked everything before I posted it.

Yep... I love how the dope-smokin' author even says that Samsung is skipping Note 6 and going straight to Note 7, a rumor that has been around for a little while... all I want in a next Galaxy Note is a replaceable battery and SD card slot... and NO government contrat for the device, so the ability to root it is much more realistic. O-bum-hole's people can keep the Note 4, leave our Note 6 or 7 (whatever it's going to be called) alone so we can unlock the bootloader.

Not yet. Check http://samsung.youmobile.org . Once it says available there, you can start checking.
Hay, guys are sure we even have an AT&T update waiting for or the AT&T is just making fun of us
Haha. That would suck
You can't blame them, Att is backwards

It's here, AT&T-bloatware and all, no rooting or unlocking necessary, thanks to an XDA Dev named Norbarb. All you need is a charged-up Note 4 and a good WiFi connection. Here's how I did it:
1st, I download the ROM at https://xdmd.sl.attcompute.com/agent...DOI6-to-U2EPF4 to the phone you're upgrading.
2nd, open ES File Manager, go to the "Downloads" folder, rename the ROM "update.zip" & copy it.
3rd, navigate to the root directory of your external SD card and pasted the renamed "update.zip" there.
4th, turn off your phone. Then press the "Power", "Volume Up" and "Home" buttons at the same time (hold them a few seconds until the phone starts.)
Wait several moments for the phone to start while the Android robot sez "updating". Then wait several more for the robot, dissected, "no command" written over his lifeless body, to recover. Then you're phone's in Recovery mode.
In Recovery mode tap "Volume Down" three times. That'll lower the highlighted blue bar over the "Apply update from SD card" line.
Tap "Power"-only to select & wait...
5 minutes later the phone reboots itself and it seemingly hangs on the AT&T globe logo.
Five or ten minutes after that your like-new (wiped) Marshmallow-rockin', AT&T-bloated Galaxy Note 4 is ready for you to log on!
404 not found on that link to rom
New update today..."device security improvements" **** you AT&T
That was the biggest troll by ATT ever...

I have always had WMD on every handset but never the pro version. I opened the app and it says, thank you for upgrading. The thing is, i never upgraded. Is this anyhow in connection to having a galaxy note 2?

Don't think so. I use WMD also, and didn't get that message. Was this upon install, update, or just random?
Random. I just thought to open it after speaking to a friend that just lost his phone and i saw the message and indeed i have pro. I dont see any ads as promised and other features are unlocked

All of the apps I've bought over the years all show up now like they were never paid for and have price tags next to them. This is either an error or a major problem. Anyone else share this experience.

+1. Also, I cant download anything. I think Google is doing something.
It's working again(for me at least).
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Always worked for me. even when I had busted titanium backups and some were paid apps, I just deleted and re-download, no problem. -shrugs-
When I purchased my Note 3 yesterday, it showed my paid apps as unpaid. It was due to the fact that my micro sim card wasn't initialized for my phone. So one quick call to Customer Care, and voila! The Google Play services correctly displayed my apps as usual. I hope this helps.

I had this issue bit only with one apk INFINITE FLIGHT SIMULATOR Called Google on request call back they called back in in 20 seconds! Told them the issue and GUESS WHAT" First thing he asked me ARE YOU ROOTED? I said YES WHY? he said that developer does that if your rooted! but they refunded me right away Funny the dev said it was google and google said its the dev
Probably a bunch of posts and Google's, which I have viewed. Went back to stock, rooted but no custom recovery. Each time I try to update to the 10p upgrade, I get "your phone is not registered yet" message. I advanced the date several times, tried again, no go.
Even had ATT on a chat session but they said they couldn't push it out due to a network error. Said that would be fixed and I would be able to download it the next day. That was 4 days ago and still can't take the update.
Suggestions???

ATT says phone should be OGP, billing says it is OGP. Simm thought it was my Samsung infuse. They change it to say OGP. Still couldn't get update. Trouble ticket opened and engineers getting involved. I suggested resolution is to bypass 10p update and just give me Kit Kat update...probably not...lol.

Email from ATT...problem resolved. Still can't update... Lol.

ATT said trouble ticket was closed because of me not getting the phone or hardware. Opened another ticket. Not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling if you know what I mean...lol.
Only two months till I can upgrade...what should I get?

Got on the phone with ATT again. Finally resolved. Old simm wouldn't give up the Samsung info. Put in a new simm and there was the updated software.

Hey everyone, so I jumped to the HTC m8 and I hated it! Paid the restocking fee and got the note 3 again and my phone lags really bad. I have to either restart my phone or turn the screen off and on. I have until Tuesday before my 14 days are up and was wondering if rooting it and flashing a rom would fix the lag or should I exchange it?
Edit. Sorry I meant to post this in the Q&A section.

Rooting it and installing a custom rom/kernel always helps as you can debloat whatever apps you don't use with titanium backup pro, root explorer, trickster mod etc. I don't see how even with 3gb ram this phone lags, but not every phone is the same I suppose.

When I had my first note 3 I rooted that thing as soon as I bought it! I've been holding off with this phone just in case something was wrong with it. I ended up doing a factory reset and everything seems fine now. I'm wondering if an app or game wasn't playing nice with my phone.

So I think I figured out what's wrong with my phone. I was looking online and read that some people were having the same problem I am. Turns out it was the sd card. I took my sd card out and have been playing with my phone for the past hour now with no freezing!

Glad you sorted it, what brand and class was it? I've had lower class cards make my LG G2X & E4GT lag before.

I spoke too soon.... I had the sd card out all day and when I was browsing the Web my phone became unresponsive and I had to turn the screen off and on at least 5 times until I could actually use it. looks like I'll be going to t-mobile to exchange it before my 14 days are up.

I purchased a used LG G3 (LG-D850) that was previously used on ATT. I brought it to T-Mobile. I can't update to Marshmallow. T-Mobile said they can't help me and that LG can. After two hours spent with LG, they've only told me that "We didn't make Android." I pushed for advice and they finally said make ATT help. ATT says once the unit is unlocked and there's a new sim card, there's nothing they can do.
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue. What is the easiest way to update? I don't need a anything rooted or anything. Or do I now?

There is still only 2 ways. Install an at&t sim or install a custom ROM.

I apologize for asking for such specifics but what is the easiest way to do the ATT route, because I spent about 3 hours with ATT on the phone and being sent to two of their stores yesterday and then they sent me to the LG Experience at Best Buy which consisted of one guy who knows LG phones who was not there and shows up "sometimes". This after ATT confirming he was there for me. See? I'm both ignorant and frustrated.

You need to go to Walmarts and buy a GoPhone sim, it will give you the ability to receive updates.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
So, get the AT&T Go Phone micro sim card. Put as little money on it as possible. Insert the card into the phone. Look for update. Hopefully find update and run it. Remove card forever. Am I getting this right, finally?
When I was at AT&T store #2 yesterday, they took a sim card from a demo phone and booted mine up. Couldn't find an available android update. Your process is different, yes?

No, the same. Sometimes the update takes a few hours.
Also I'm assuming you have a d850 running stock non rooted.
You also need wifi connection.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
Correct about stock d850, non rooted. But now I'm confused. At the store, with an ATT sim card thrown in, Settings/General/About phone/Software Update/Update now showed no available updates. I'm still on 5.0.1.

All I can say, is that it worked for me, though I have since moved on to the Nexus 5x.
Good luck and if by chance it doesn't work (it should), you need to try rooting and flashing a stock based ROM.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
This is weird.
I got the card. I called ATT to activate it. They said, hang up, power down, insert the att sim card, power back up and get the update. As soon as I hung up, and before installing the ATT card, it started downloading the update. Eventually it started installing the update and then stopped. Error message said that it suspected my phone of being a rooted device and therefore would not update the software. Odd. Okay. So I powered down, installed the ATT card, powered back up, looked for software update. My phone is on the ATT network right now (thru my home wifi still) but says no software update is available. I'm still at 5.0.1.
Any idea what I did wrong?

Wanted to give you an update. I did a factory reset. Didn't help but then I went deeper. I guess the previous owner had some rooting software underneath it all. Spent some time removing it, going back to absolutely stock. It took more effort but eventually I got it. I'm at Marshmallow Level. Thank you.
