Im not new to android, but havent realy modded any past deviced besides getting cm on an old s4 and rooting a z2.
I unlocked the bootoader and have been getting this menu on boot ever since, I just need to know whats causing it and what it is so i can check if i can stop it from popping up.
( A youtube link should be here with the video showing the menu ill try to post in the comment )
Thanks.
Cant post pics or videos but at the top right it says START -> continue boot, on the left right below it < more options press volume keys. Below that it says your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted, to learn more, visit g.co/placeholder, if no key pressed: your device will boot in 5 seconds.
It still boots normaly its just an annoyance

I don't see anything. But I presume you are referring to the boot menu (I.e. press start or wait 5 seconds). If so, that is the oneplus boot menu. Press the power button to continue, or wait 5 sec; or volume rocker to select a boot mode. FYI, this is present no matter if you unlocked or not....at least I think so?

It has to be unlocked, yes. Sadly, there is no other way to get rid of that message without locking bootloader.
Boot loader should be unlocked for custom Roms

Lucky one...
There has been many examples of this but I'm afraid it doesn't help. Some developers already have devices s-off by official ways.

Well that's rather unfortunate. I just figured I would try and help the community lol oh well
You could always swap it for my s-on hox, that would be helping the community (well helping me)

Not in the slightest lol

Do you first have to unlock your bootloader with htcdev to be able to open that screen?

I just tried that and my phone just booted up normally but it took longer than usual. And I got a message that said something like ''Your HTC phone just recovered from something unusual. Do you want to send an error report to HTC?''
So that means my phone is S-ON right?
Wow this is very disturbing.
Please don't try this again. It's clear that you don't have the knowledge required to mess with the phone.

I don't think I've damaged the phone just by trying to open it once on the bootloader even though its locked.

Nope, like I said, phone just booted up slower than usual and then I got an error report message from HTC that said something like ''Your HTC has recovered from an unexpected error. Do you want to send a report to HTC?''
So I think I can assume my phone is S-OFF right?
No,
Reboot it again, select reboot from the power menu and don't release the volume button until you get in the bootloader.

Noooo u should boot into boot loader to know if it's s-off or no and u failed to boot into bootloader so u should try it again by pressing power and volume down simultaneously and don't leave them until u see boot loader screen

S-ON, bummer.
I wonder how long until everyone is able s-off... Can't wait.

Can you boot in bootloader mode? (Turn off device and then hold power+down key)
Use wugfresh tool kit and you can solve all problems easily. Find the kit in general section!
Just plug in device and select restore nexus and select, nexus is bricked/bootloop
Jus sit back and it would do the rest
THANK YOU

Hold power+volume down while device is on for screenshots!
Well, I'm not sure if it is light bleed or some software issue!

Well, I am afraid you need to explain in details what exactly is happening.
You can use Google translate to translate in English if you are having troubles expressing it. Make sure you use full form/ standard language of your language or it would not be accurate translation!

Lol I speak english don't worry , anyways the problem seemed to fixed on its own I let it drain the whole day and it pretty much fixed the problem.
Thanks anyways
I thought it was a ESL post as well. Must be texting speak. Sometimes I'll read back an Email to myself and think some prepositions and personal pronouns would really help these sentences LOL
For instance in the above sentence a 'that' before: some prepositions - would improve improve readability.

I recently tried to update this device with the latest MALAY MOD rom.
The problem was that I didn't had the option to remove all data while updating. Thus resulting in an corrupt install.
I need to get into recovery mode now to install the rom from there, however I do not know how to enter recovery. I've tried all the possible ways that I could find without result.
The touchscreen buttons don't seem to give input to the device, except the power(like) button, if I press this button the screen goes black bit the machine keeps running. Pushing again makes the screen go on again. (this does not restart the device)
The reset button immediately shuts off the device, while holding it the unit stays off. When released the device starts up and gets stuck on boot logo.
I tried contacting the supplier, now 5 days later and still no reaction..
Does anyone have an idea?
try:
press and hold in power button, press rst briefly, let go of power more than 3 seconds after pressing rst

You could ask in this thread :

Hey im new here!
I've had my G3 a while and today i decided to root it and try to install cyanogenmod. So the root went fine i rooted with Kingroot (blue white crown logo) it went fine and it said phone is rooted. but i got stuck a little bit after that when trying to unlock bootloader and kind of advanced stuff like that I downloaded the app ''System app remover (ROOT)'' just to try out some awesome root stuff.
I removed a couple of pre installed programs and files (com.lge.sui.widget was problably then only was that was bad to remove) and now i cant access settings ( little window appearing saying ''Unfortunately settings has stopped working" and my widgets does not work at all. I tried to unroot the phone again with SuperSU but it just says it needs update (which is not working). And root checker says my phone is till rooted, so.
I saw this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/removed-com-lge-sui-widget-bricked-t3145799 and i wonder is this working (flash kdz)? And then i saw this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVLd-HlqveE and it seems quite easy so will this help?
There is another problem i tried to factory reset phone (hard reset when power on it) and i just does not work, when i press yes on everything i shows lg logo BUT with terminal up at the left corner and it says something with error Boot cerification only error and then screen just turns black, and light start blinking red and blue ( it stop when i press volume+ tho?).
After this i can't boot until unplug and plug battery in again then i can boot normally.
So do you guys think this will work? :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVLd-HlqveE or some of this http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/removed-com-lge-sui-widget-bricked-t3145799?
And lg has no official firmware to get it fully factory STOCK or repair software or anything like that?
I guess i should not have tried rooting and stuff att all, it all seems so difficult
I've got an d-855
Thanks

What state is your phone now? If you can´t boot to android (you should be able to boot..) try holding volume up and connect to pc, see if it loads download mode(software upgrade mode)

So i should download this KDZ file then: http://storagecow.eu/Xda/LG G3/Stock/D855/Europe D85530B_00_1217.kdz? My android version i lollipop i believe but im not entirely sure. I downloaded app ''My android'' and it said lollipop 5.0 so i guess it is. Then i just use the software and follow instructions/the yt video? Thanks.
This one is Marshmallow. If you tend to have a rooted device without custom recovery(twrp) then I would stick with lollipop version 20(20a, b,..., up to 21a)
But marshmallow should provide smoother transitions and overall system performance and features. You can revert at any time.

How did you get to this state? Was it random, or did you do something to it?
There's really nothing you can do if you have no recovery, a locked bootloader, and no valid OS.

So you were just minding your own business, pulled it out of your pocket and this is what you saw? No attempts at OTA, root, bl unlock? Was this after a reboot? That's what I mean by context.
That happened to me on my pixel 2xl a couple of times.
My phone was sitting on my desk and would pop a reboot and come up with the 2XL version of your message.
but I was rooted w/stock rom.
I just kept rebooting it until it finally loaded.
then flashed factory w/wipe
Maybe keep rebooting until it works?
then unlock bootloader and take control of your hardware.
