Lost visual voicemail - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

This has happened to me a few times on different ROMs, but when I was on my N5, I was able to toggle the setting for VV back on in the phone app's settings. I'm currently on Bliss on the OP3 and I've scoured the settings section and there is no mention of VV. Anyone know any other way I can get it back? I'm running a custom theme also - not sure if that's what made me lose it.

[Q] Call quality programming CM10.1 issue

Hey guys, new here to the forum. I've been using the forum a bit lately and have updated a load of things, including CM10.1, hboot 1.07, incredikernel latest jb 4.2, baseband, etc. I noticed people saying you can change your protocol from EVRC to EVRC-B. I tried following the various methods like ##778, ##program, so on and nothing seems to work. Is there a different code I'm supposed to use? Is this even a possibility with the ROM/Kernel setup that I have? It's the last thing that I wanted to do and it's bugging me.

I think there is. Google search EPST AOSP and there may be an answer for you there.

I dont think there is. Every thread i find says there isnt, and to just backup your current setup, flash a stock sense rom, change the settings, and then restore your backup. The settings persist thru rom flashes. There is a pc program QPST, but im not sure if it would work or not without the epst.apk being present on the phone.
Its true you can change from evrc to evrc-b, which i have done before. However in my opinion it makes call quality no better, and can make you roam or loose connection if you go to an are that dosent support evrc-b.
Yeah, I searched what tiny suggested and that was the only solution really. Not really a problem I just thought I could streamline it. Isn't the EVRC-B a preferred setting not a forced setting? That what I thought people were setting it as for those 3 locations "home" "roaming" and whatever the third was. Maybe it just states preferred but it's really forced causing you to roam more often. I think I'll give it a try and see how it goes for me.

[Q] r800x CM9 No Data

I'm having a ton of trouble with my R800x and CM9. I just spent the entire morning flashing my phone back and forth from stock to various builds to make sure this isn't a hardware problem. But in CM9 for my r800x (zeusc), I can't seem to KEEP a data connection.
I will usually get the 3G icon with a few bars, but it's grey, not blue. It seems like different behavior than when I don't have a connection at all; things just flat-out fail then. But here's the weirdness: Pandora will spin up and MAYBE play a single song, then nothing until a reboot. Web pages START to download but then stall. Wifi works fine.
I'm suspecting APN settings. In the guide here [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024782], specifically step 30 and 31, I don't see anything under APN settings. I had to add Verizon manually. That's weird too. In stock, the setting for MNC is 004. If I try and use that setting for an APN in CM9, it disappears from the APN list completely. If I create an APN and leave it at the default of MNC set to 012, I can select it, but I still think it's incorrect. I even used APN Backup & Restore to backup the stock APN and restore it under CM9, and the restored setting just doesn't show up, even though it was successfully imported. I have to add it myself.
I have to restart my phone to get a data connection back for a few seconds.
Is this happening to anyone else? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. :silly:
Edit: If a mod would like to move this to the Q&A section, I seem to have placed this in the general section by mistake. Thanks!
Wish there was a real fix...
But for now, toggle airplane mode off then back on.
that seems to do the trick for me.

I tried that many, many times. Trust me, I tried all the simple stuff.
I got so frustrated with it that I actually called Verizon and got them to bump up my upgrade date. Got a GS3 and couldn't be happier.

2 common problems that I've always had issues with

Alright, I’ve had Sourcery JB on my phone for a while now. V4.3
Over time these are the problems I just can’t understand and need some light shined on them please.
The GPS:
Is a joke. It has NEVER been accurate one single time since I’ve installed the rom. It’s always 2000+m OFF. what the faq? All my apps are updated, what’s the deal?
Sending pictures:
I use GOSMS. However, I CANNOT for ANYTHING send pictures via text in this app. I have to go through the native app every single f’ving time and that only works 50% of the time. Wtf is going on here? Is it AT&T? Is it the rom or my phone or what?
Would going back to stock JB fix all these issues? I love the ROM(s) but the problems listed above are VERY important to get working as they are some of most basic functions phones have.
I almost just updated to JBSourcery V5 and tried sending picture using default text msg app. Still, same results. It won’t f’ving send.
Please help.
Not sure about your GPS issues - mine has always been pretty quick to lock regardless of the ROM I'm using.
But in regards to your problems with MMS messaging - I had the same issue on every ROM, including stock until I switched to AOKP. I called ATT to make sure everything on their end was as it needed to be. Double and triple checked my APN settings, all to no avail. Not sure what it was about this particular ROM, but since flashing, I haven't had any issues.

[Q] Virgim Movile custom rom HTC One V Data not working.

Hello, I installed Cyanogen Mod 10.1 on my phone, and everything I need works except Data/3g. The 3g icon on the status bar stays gray. Which I guess it means its unable to connect. And after some searching around, I'm lead to believe it may have something to do with the APN settings. Unfortunately, I can't find an option to adjust the APN settings anywhere on the menus on Android 4.2.2. Does anyone have any idea what I can do?
Thanks for the help.

New AT&T update with VoLTE

Does anyone know if swapping the setting in the default.xml will enable this fully? I have messed around with some settings on my phone (music channel, 4G icon etc and those worked). I use ARHD and if I can enable this myself, I wont have to search for this "update" thats being pushed out to our phones as I type this
Something like that would be nice. Really don't feel like downgrading to KitKat just to get VOLTE when lollisense is running really nice.
