Hello,
I got my OP3 today and i installed all my apps... in this case the garmin connect app.
Every time i try to log in into my garmin account, i get the error message 'A problem occured while attempting to sign into Garmin Connect'.
The app works perfectly on my old phone. Tried login there no problems.
I also granted all rights to the garmin app. Any ideas whats wrong with OOS and Garmin connect app?
Thanks & best regards.
In my 1+3 work perfect Garmin Connect and VivosmartHR.
Try wipe app data and cache...
I uninstalled the app several times. But with clearing cache it worked for me. Thanks

Hi all,
The problem most of us experience is that microsoft removed the function of configuring com ports in their Pocket PC Version 4 build.
I have a program that can sort out the com port problems between the bluetooth and gps software.
I have included the program as an attachment, just unzip it into your PC, make sure you reboot your PDA, sync your PDA to the PC and run setup.
Problems solved.
Cheers,
John
i thought it was only the automatic comport handleing that was removed so you just have to manually set a com port it 2 second of a job
XDA comports
It seems that Microsoft left out our ability to configure com ports altogether. If you try and do a manual configuration with the GPS software it will drive you crazy. I have had so many emails at my hotmail account from people with problems that I have sent this program to and it has fixed thier problem. That is why I decided to put it up here.
Cheers,
John
Hi,

Bluetooth GPS problem
I have updated the zip file to include a new readme file.
Please follow the instructions.
Unzip file to PC
Reboot PDA.
Sync PDA to PC.
Run Setup.exe
Problem should be fixed, if not reinstall GPS software.
Cheers,
John
Hi John,
Thanks for that.
I tried it and it doesnt appear to have fixed it.
I installed the patch rebooted phone, removed TomTom6 and reinstalled and still cant connect to bluetooth headset, uninstall TomTom6 put on TomTom5 and works, back to 6 still no go.
Any other suggestions?
Cheers
Hi Cozza,
Sorry you are still having a problem, only thing I can suggest is to see if anyone else has a similar problem with TomTom 6, if so you may have to contact them direct and ask for technical assistance.
Just had another thought, could Tom Tom 6 be taking over the port assigned to the headset by default, if so maybe installing the headset after TomTom 6 might work???
Cheers,
John
Hi John,
Yep i have tried that.
Have formatted the phone several times both installing the Bluetooth Car Kit before and after TomTom 6 and still no luck.
TomTom 5 works fine but as soon as updated to TomTom6 Car Kit wont connect, it finds it but just 'connection failed'.
Remove TomTom6 and thinks work OK.
Weird....
Hmmm - What should be different?
I've installed this application, but I still don't see anyway to change either:
1. which port the bluetooth app assigns to the connection (currently port 7)
2. the selection of ports available from TomTom 5.21 to make a connection.
Like everyone else, I've gone through all the port options in TomTom, and it still doesn't connect to the GPS. Other GPS software (everything else I've ever tried - a LOT of software) has no problem connecting to my GPS, so this is obviously a TomTom problem.
Thanks!
Jason Silver
I made Headway!
I finally found something to help!!

The above is a step-by-step guide. The key for my HP6325 (63xx series) was to not connect to BlueTooth, but "Other NMEA GPS." After that, the port connection through Bluetooth worked.

Wizard GPS settings after GPS in phone is unlocked
I own a T-Mobile MDA (Wizard) with the 3-0-0 upgraded ROM and need the GPS settings after GPS in phone is unlocked. Anyone know how to do this?
Guys, i am using Orbit and recently got one problem.
To delete my pictures i resetted the phone by using Clear Storage menu and putting 1234 keys. Since then the device doesnt connects to the PC via Active sync, tried every thing i can but invain. Also my preinstalled Copilot stopped working aswell, the Autorun file doesnt work and install on the device.
It seems its a minor problem for someone, but to me its a headache, i will be gratefull if anyone helps me.
cheers
When I try and turn on bluetooth, so I can pair my ear piece, I get this message, "cannot start the bluetooth stack." Ive been all over this forum with no luck.
This isnt a TomTom, or a PTT issue. I have never installed TomTom nor have any other issues. I did install Garmin Mobile XT which works geat. Not sure if that did anything.
The problem is I just aquired the phone, did a hard re-set, and loaded all of my software and just now tried to start the BT. Should have done that in the beginning.
Any help will be much appreciated.

I found out that a shortcut, BTTrayCE.ink that was supposed to be in windows/startup and Windows/startup:disable folders were not there. I simply sent the two shortcuts from BTTrayCE.exe (in Windows/) into the above stated folders. Now I have Bluetooth!
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If I pair my EVO to the iDrive system and let it sync my address book the connection immediately drops and will never work again.
Logcat of this happening: http://pastebin.com/FDenP0PU
If I pair the EVO and iDrive system, and then Deny the iDrive request to read the Phonebook the connection remains alive. I can then place/receive calls, and stream music.
Logcat of the connection and Denied address book access: http://pastebin.com/D63mAJHt
I'm running Myn RLS5 with 4.3.2 netarchy-toastmod-cfs-nosbc-havs-less-universal (Less Aggressive HAVS). I have tried this with the stock HTC#15 and it behaves the same way.
I have no clue how to parse/interpret these logcats, however I would guess it has something to do with the wsock error...
What if you download a BT transfer app and use that to move your contacts?
There's an app in the market called Bluetooth File Transfer. Maybe you can download it and pair it to your BMW to move the contacts. If that works all you have to do is deny the requests so you can make/receive calls until someone comes out with a fix.
I would try that if I were in your situation. You can also try to email the developer on that app from the Market and tell him the issue. Maybe he would know what may be causing it.
Hope that helps somewhat.

Been having the same problem with all the Sense ROM, but everything works fine with AOSP ROM.
I have a 2006 5 series and it syncs fine with Myn's and Mik ROMs.
The problem is to connect Bluetooth on a Moto Z Play Android 7.1.1 patchlevel 2/2018 (current in reteu, was same result with Android 6.0.1 12/2016) with a Volvo XC40 car.
The first pairing with Bluetooth succeeds for a second. Then, nearly immediately, both displays (car and mobile) show reconnecting for about 10 seconds. It has a connect for a fraction of a second, and then is reconnecting and so on.
Trying flight mode and then only Bluetooth enabled on the mobile did not help. IIRC it showed some message about "My Volvo Carnull not bonded" (the name of the car for Bluetooth is "My Volvo Car" and some message with typo, something like "conecnting not successful". After that I rebooted, result was the state before with reconnecting.
Did try this several times. Also did try to reduce the amount of Bluetooth access types the car tries. There are 4 connected: phone, audio, internet, contacts. Did also not help.
Has anyone an idea how to get a successful connection or what the cause of the problem is? Did search for similar problems with Bluetooth in cars, but could not find anything (except for that hint with flight mode which did not help).
What I tried by now:
- Flight mode, only Bluetooth (as already mentioned). No change
- Remove all bluetooth connections. Pair new. No change
- Delete data for sytem app "Bluetooth Freigabe". No change
All other bluetooth connections are working fine. Another Moto Z Play using Android 7.0 (01/2017) is working flawlessly with that car. Strange for me is that it didn't work on 6.0.1 in the same way it does now fail on 7.1.1, but the other Moto Z Play using 7.0 is connecting stable.
Still the question: Does anyone have an idea how to get the connection working?
Factory reset?
I see that you deleted all bt connection but do you have some apps that are using bt? Like for smartwatch, headphones...?
I have Amazfit and watch must be connected to be able to pair a new device. Drow me crazy first time when I had that problem. I thought that car audio is broken, then phone... After pairing, watch doesn't have to be connected to reconnect.

I was afraid this reply could come. When doing a factory reset, I do following: Pack /data/media somewhere because Nandroid omits this. Backup all partitions using twrp. Backup all apk using adb. Export SMS. Export contacts. Screenshots of the launcher screens. All this takes about 2-3 hours. Then I struggle a week until my device behaves like before. I'd be willing to do it if I saw a reason why it could help.

Headphone, yes, there is August EP650 configuration tool that is not necessary. Thank you for the hint, will try it. Also I read somewhere it may help to delete cache partition, that's also worth a try before doing factory reset. Maybe I'll wait for Oreo before trying factory reset, could be they fixed some bug there.
Edit: BatOn which shows Bluetooth battery for external devices could also be the culprit.

That's a strange behavior indeed. Amazfit seems to do something wrong.
It doesn't get any better if you upgrade to Oreo, I've been having problems with my Moto Z play disconnecting and reconnecting to the radio in my Corolla constantly ever since I went up to nougat. To be honest I just bought a good pair of headphones and stopped using the radio. Good luck though, if someone finds something that helps let me know.
I'm using bt with car audio, headphones, smartwatch... No problems at all, except one with Amazfit. And that is related to their bt implementation, not Moto fault.

Seems the last action to remove Bluetooth related apps was the right one . There were two apps installed:
1. BatOn showing the state of battery of connected Bluetooth device
2. August configuration app for August EP650 headset
Removed both as they are usually not needed and it seems to work now. Will see later if it only worked for the short test I did today (currently I try to avoid driving because of an injury) or if it keeps stable.
Good, you didn't have to factory reset after all
