I've been running Gummy 1.0.1 for four days now with no issues. My Samsung extended battery seems to be lasting longer with the governors that are included with the ROM. I would recommend YouTube to get a feel for the different ROMs available.

I've always used MIUI on my Nexus S. I want to see how it is on the GNex first. ARHD intrigues me because I love the Stock android feel and don't like the launcher overlay some ROMs use.
What do you think?

Stock its really good at everything... If you want feature rich rom + stock feel i suggest AOKP Milestone 5 + Franco kernel

Guys, Im just a newbie here and I would like to ask the community on what rom are you all currently using. I just want to know if there are any roms out there that are stable and well optimized a rom that will not cause any kernel crashes or any sort of those issues. Since I had a previous bad experience with paranoid android where it caused alot of kernel crashes which ended in a bootloop. Any suggestions will be appreciated thanks !
Only suggestion you will get is to try them all and stick with the one you like. It's a matter of taste. I recommend to mod stock rom with xposed framework and stick with it. No custom rom made of scratch will be better than an optimized software.

Stock rom is probably your best option. You could use Epsilon rom, which has some extra goodies added to the stock rom. But if you want to try something else I would suggest LiquidSmooth - it's really fast and has quite a neat line-up of customization options.
LiquidSmooth and Vanir ROM. Try the latest builds. Quite fast, not as stable as Stock, but really great to use.
+1 for Vanir.
Yeah Vanir is great, but i must say that CM10.2 RC1 is also good.
Which rom has best battery life?

Which kitkat rom have the best battery duration but still smooth ?
i am running CM11 (cm-11-20140114-NIGHTLY-e975.zip) with Loller79's Solid Kernel v0.5B2 and it runs really really well but i need to charge it once a day because no matter what i do it just keeps using power even with Qualcomm's SnapDragon BatteryGuru running
other then that it runs perfect no issues at all

I forgot how well Samsung 's ROM performs. Or maybe it's improved since then? Even with all the bloatware the phone feels like a different phone.

Tw Hyperdrive rom is working really well amd flash lean kernel to get good performance/batterylife
For aosp i would recommend you the resurection remix rom working pretty good... Both are really good i enjoy using tw and aosp roms

Ive had this tablet since it first came out. And I love it so far. I've installed a few custom ROMs to test but didn't really actually use them much. Stock ROM is becoming sluggish so I was wondering in you guy's opinion, what is the best ROM for this tablet? What's the fastest, smoothest, and most stable ROM? Thank you guys in advance!
What model?
