Hey,
I was playing hearthstone (just about to win ) and then the device just got stuck and rebooted.
Since then it's in stuck (LG logo -> black screen but not shutdown)
It was wasn't over heating or something.
The device is rooted and unlocked.
EDIT:
I Used LGUP to factory reset and finished successfully.
The problem is still happening, the device shows the LG logo and then stuck on black screen.

HELP GUYS!!!
I unlocked my bootloader, and didn't know that I cannot update through OTA. So i tried updating yesterday, and an error message popped up saying that i changed the firmware, and cannot update. Then an hour later, the phone shut down by itself. I turned it back on, didn't think more about it. Today, my phone started acting weird, first saying memory full. Then i couldn't get any reception. So I turned off my phone, now it's in a boot loop. First I get a page saying sony ericsson, then jumps to the sony ericsson logo page, then to a black page, then back to the page that says sony ericsson, what's going on? It's in a boot loop! Did I brick my phone?
I tried locking my bootloader using this tutorial, but no help:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15849239#post15849239
Then I tried "unbricking" my phone using:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1126358
Still no help. I tried searching in XDA, googling, now I'm just lost. Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
Re read the two threads and re trace your steps.

...and please kc73837, no double posts
sorry for the double posting, i retraced my steps, still have no clue. I then flashed a new firmware, LT15i_3.0.1.A.0.145_Hong Kong, but still the same. Any suggestion? Please? thanks!

What do you see when you turn the phone on?
does the charging screen come up when it is plugged in?
it doesnt power on at all and the charging screen doesnt come up either
mine too,it doesnt power on at all and the charging screen doesnt come up either,
anyone help!
I don't know a way to fix this problem but I have seen unbricking threads for this phone that may help. I'm not sure though because I haven't tried them. I did however also brick my nitro two days after I got and I brought it back to at&t and acted like I had no clue what was going on. Mine was stuck in a boot loop and possibly fixable but I needed it for work and didn't have time as I was on my way to work.

Hey try pulling the battery then reinserting it with USB plugged in to see if you can breathe any life into it if you can get anything to show on the screen that would be the first step then after that there may be a chance of rescue also try to let it charge for a while and come back to it, I brought a phone back because nothing would show up on the screen but when I brought it back to the store the Guy got it to bootloop if you can at least get it to do that you can work on unbricking it further

Something like this happened to me when I did a battery pull. My battery wasn't dead at the time either, it had 37%. I ended up sending mine to LG for repair or if you have AT&T, you can get it fixed through them.
I have the same problem, mine just stucks at LG logo and then loops, i don't know what to do, please somebody help us!

Hold down volume down plus power until it goes to the factory reset screen. Press power to "reset" which really takes you to CWM (if you're rooted and have CWM installed). Then from CWM, do a factory reset/wipe data, then flash the zip/gapps (for CM 9), or another ROM if you prefer.

Agree with kernelpanic. Sounds like a hardware failure. AT&T also has device support centers in certain locations that can swap out your phone in some cases.

Is this all it takes to "flash a rom"?

Hi! thanks for answering!
Yes, I have CWM installed, when I try to enter with volume down and power, it ask me to click power twice to confirm (as usual), but then when CWM is going to boot, the phone resets, and loops again at the LG logo.
I already tried the unbrick method used here in the forum, but I have a problem with the R&D Test Tool, because when I try to click at "Upgrade Start" in CSE web upgrade test, the program opens LGMobile Support Tool, instead of the screen of "country and language", and finally, when I try to update via LGMobile Support Tool, it doesn't found my device (already put in Download Mode in USB), I don't know what to do, please, any information will be greatly apreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I'm on RLS14 by sbreen94. It was working fine last night and for the past three days. I woke up and it was dead for some reason. I tried to turn it on and it just crashes right before boot animation. After that I tried booting into recovery to just reflash it, but it crashes. Can't get into download mode without it crashing either. Where do I go from here any ideas?
Yeah, you probably have the failed mmc. Basically motherboard is fried. Happened to me 2 months ago. My phone started working very slowly. Then froze when I took a pic. Rebooted and it wouldn't pass boot image like a corrupt kernel. Reflashed kernel. Failed. Then nothing. Wouldn't even pass black screen trying to turn it on. It's called Sudden death syndrome.

I got my phone online so didn't have an original receipt. Other wise I could've had it fixed under warranty by Samsung. Also, it doesn't matter if you messed with your phone or not as far as flashing goes, this is a known hardware issue that they fix without question.

Good evening, I'm here on a Friday night trying to revive my tab 12.2 pro SM T900. It developed a charging issue when my wife travelled with it and It refuses to boot ever since. It was showing the battery icon charging, but not filling up ever. Now after my fruitless efforts it's just stuck in a bootloop with the Samsung logo.
It used to run on Lineage 14.1 (v2awifi) and had TWRP recovery.
I've already changed the battery and charging port for brand new ones, the connector of the battery has just been (professionally) resoldered (after I saw various Youtube videos pointing this out as the possible issue) this afternoon. Nothing has changed. I've read countless trheads that may or may not have been relevant.
I can get the tablet into download mode, I can also flash original firmware from Sammobile (Netherlands version) and can also flash TWRP recovery with ODIN, (which seems to think it has completed the job succesfully each time).
But I cannot get into recovery any more! Either the original or TWRP.
The Samsung galaxy tab logo flashes on the screen and again, and again.
Someone has suggested my EFS could be corrupt. Any ideas what else I can try to revive my 12 inch paperweight?
Any help, ideas or suggestions would be HIGHLY appreciated. Thank you.
Quick summary: I'm trying to get into recovery mode to reset my device as it is stuck in a bootloop.
Current situation:
Connected to charger: samsung logo comes on for a second and goes off and comes back again. boot loop.
Pressing volume down + power followed by volume up get me into download mode. Then flashing a factory image (5.1.1) with Odin 3.10 or 3.11 or 3.12 (tried every version i could find) seems to work. The log says it is successful, but after rebooting it is still in the same bootloop. I can also flash a custom recovery successfully says the log (TWRP 3.11 for v2awifi) but I still can't enter the recovery mode. Tried all sorts of cables to see if that helps, but no.
I also tried connecting with fastboot but the tablet does not respond to that. (tried a million different drivers including google usb driver) samsung mobile USB CDC driver is what shows up in device manager when I connect the tablet to the pc.
I've read every thread I could find. Nothing I try seems to work. Can anyone help please???
Update:
I have flashed three part 'repair' firmware (BL, AP and CSC)
I have tried repartition with PIT file for the 12.2 (32GB)
I have tried the 'NAND erase' option and also the 'phone EFS clear' and 'phone bootloader update' both seperately and individually.
It has changed nothing at all.
The tablet still loops between the white samsung logo and a black screen. It will enter into download mode but not into recovery.
anything else I can try?
I am being told it's probably the motherboard that needs replacing.
Update?
Did you have any luck fixing the issue? I'm running into the same problem and have tried everything as you have above

same problem with my SM-T900. Repairshop tells me that probably the eMMC chip on the motherboard is blocked, or broken. Only solution is a new motherboard, but these are not anymore for sale (new ones).
no1canbetrusted and pjotrski1000, did you find a solution ? Repairshop tells that only in China they can repair these motherboards.

I didn't find a solution, but I'm looking to find one if possible... I just came across the skeleton of the sm-t900 in the attic.
I'm willing to try a new motherboard at the right price :-/
How about you guys? Did you trash the tablets already or sell them for parts?
I saw someone on ebay asking 400 euro for a used one. Seems a bit much for an old tablet with an super ancient android version
I still have the tablet unused in a drawer of a cupboard. I didn't find a solution

Not having much to lose I decided to risk resoldering the pins of the battery jack onto the motherboard myself this time. They are crazy small by the way. Well, the tablet seems to be working again. Surprisingly as my soldering looks like the work of a 4 year old.
Consequently I was amazed to find there is still work being done to support the SM-T900 with monthly security updates to lineage 14.1.
the battery connector/jack is very flimsy and the contacts come loose from the motherboard over time. This causes the battery not to provide sufficient juice causing a bootloop. (If I understood correctly)
Let's see what happens now
Update: latest lineage 14.1 installed now with nano gapps. Working well, although charging speed is limited to 1.5 amps, no matter what cable or charger I try.
aliexpress new motherboard 50 bucks

Well, apparently microsoldering is not for everyone, so I ended up messing up my board beyong repair
Took a final gamble with a second hand motherboard on aliexpress for 50 dollar. It came in yesterday (~3 weeks to ship), booted right up in android 4.2. Works great. And it's a lot faster than i remember my old motherboard being with lineage. installed.
updating now from the samsung server to the latest official release 5.x
it's 2022 & my T900 finally went into bootloop in model logo, does anyone know the real reason for this? is it hardware or software problem?
- I can flash any version via odin but still bootloops
- TWRP worked once after that can't get in anymore
- the only button working is for the download mode PWR + Vol Down
- before all this LED Stayed on until batt drained then bootloops
it's a good tab to watch movie while on a treadmill
As indicated above by tryer2, it's the eMMC chip on the motherboard and the only fix is a new motherboard. I've repaired several SM-T900 tablets and I've also repaired several SM-P900 tablets with motherboard problems. I've also replaced the motherboard in an SM-P907A that was locked to the American AT&T network and turned it into an SM-P905 that works with UK networks. I source the motherboards from LISFG in China via AliExpress. Never had any issues with them.
Hope this helps.
thanks KeefieB
Yes it was the motherboard, got a cheap one that had a busted LCD
replaced the motherboard on mine then all is good to go, still a nice machine to browse YouTube videos

Glad you got it sorted :-o)
As you say, they are great machines for watching TV, videos etc.
For interest, if you're into custom ROMs, I've found they work great with an update to LineageOS-14.1 (Android 7).
Yes, i want to try that out as some apps don't run well with the old Andy5.1....
what worries me is that it might slow down considerably, I thought I also saw a LOS-17.*** for it, not sure though.
I also have the 10" & it's awfully slow after an update, can't remember which version
I've found LOS-14.1 to be fine in general use, including watching TV, videos etc. To me, any loss of speed is negligible. You can always revert back to 5.1.1 if necessary.
It's been a while since I tried LOS-17 and didn't really get on with it. From memory, camera didn't work and I thought it was slower. It may have improved since then of course.
Hi all,
I tried restoring my phone to factory settings in prep to sell, and turned into a nightmare.
In TWRP I selected factory reset and wipe data, and it turned the phone into a paperweight part 1: Stuck at the green splash screen for awhile. Eventually I was able to fastboot something to get it to work, no idea what I did because literally everything failed, from flashing boot.img to running the flash_all.bat from Razers website.
Finally able to boot. Well then I decided to lock the bootloader next. Then I'm stuck at the POWERED BY ANDROID screen with big red text, and then phone constantly restarts every 5 seconds on that screen. I can only enter into download mode. Fastbooting any images, trying to unlock bootloader, Razers official instructions, everything fails one way or another in fastboot.
Am I screwed?
Thanks
pretty much if you contact razer they are like bot saying they can't help you I'm about to send my device in to then now since we in the same boat ill tell you how much the cost will be but I couldn't find any solution on how to find it

Glad someone replied to this I could find how to get be to it but I sent it in and this basically gave me to price on for a refurbished and one for a new device the refurbished is %15 of retail and new is %25 off which I think is crazy so your telling me they don't have a software to unlock the loader but the phone they sent was not new I opened it and I was given the message when you unlock the boot loader in the first place (the one that shows your s/n number) so yeah I'm not recommending this phone anymore they took 4 month because ("out of stock") but when I sent a tweet to razor literally 2 hours later they sent me a tracking number
