[Q] [TWRP][4.3 OFFICIAL]Can i use TWRP backup on 4.3 official unrooted ROM

I have recently upgraded to 4.3 official JB ROM (UEMK4) using ODIN. But now i want to revert back to 4.1.2 TWRP backup that i did yesterday. I have TWRP recovery already installed on my Note II.
Can I directly restore the backup?
The 4.3 is official unrooted ROM and I am not able to turn off KNOX.
Please help me out.

I have some problems with 4.3 (xxuemk4), like freezing, crashes, etc, and i want to downgrade to Omega v18 4.1.2 again. I read that the downgrade isnt possbile from 4.3 to 4.1.2, so how can i go back to previous android version? Thank You!

If you have nandroid backup, flash Philz touch recovery via odin and then restore your backup. Simple...

Backup Stock ROM before manually upgrading

I used clockwordmod to backup my ROM
my question is, if I upgraded to Android 4.3, would it be possible to downgrade to my original stock ROM (4.1.2) using the restore mode in CWM?

Recently brought my GS3 I747M back to life from a hard brick... and I flashed it to stock 4.0.4 rom via odin when doing so.Would I be able to upgrade it directly to stock 4.4.2 using odin? Or do I need to upgrade it to earlier version first, like 4.1 and 4.3? (phone is already rooted, so cant do it thru OTA). Thanks!

You can flash it with odin, but will need to factory reset too.

downgrade from Lollipop (5.0) to Kitkat (4.4.2)

I have a question, I have rooted N900T, and upgraded to Lollipop FOB6 by using Odin CF method.
before using Odin, I backed up my KK rom.
my question is, since the bootloader is updated on the 5.0 version, if I want to downgrade to my previous kitkat rom, can I flash my previous backed up rom through twrp recovery? or the process will break the phone?
what if I do a complete wipe and flash 4.4.4 through Odin? I've heard since they're different bootloader, I can not downgrade.

I downgraded down to 4.4.2 NK3 Kitkat last night from 5.0 lollipop using Odin on the PC. It worked perfectly fine with no issues. Not sure if you can restore your Kitkat backup though. I would suggest doing a clean install with the 4.4.2 NK3 tar file found here on XDA.

Sure do your backup via twrp or your choice of recovery, save your kk rom to it in a backup. Then do the same in your LP rom. I do this with all 3 OS roms B6 kk rom, Alliance 5.0 rom and resurrection remix 6.0.1 rom it just takes a few min to do in liu of the restore time it takes.
