Hi guys,
Some days ago, I have a problem. My LG G3 D855 with Android 6.0 works fine while it is on. When I turn off the phone, all is correct too: I can see the LG logo and the turn-off's music. But when I turn on the phone, the screen remains black all time until I can see the android desktop (or lock screen). I can hear the turn-on's music but I can not see the LG logo and any text o graphics. If I enter in recovery mode or download mode I can see anything but the mobile works in that modes because I can prove it with my PC.
Please, any idea or help? Thank you

I was currently on Sprint LG G3 ZV4(rooted) I never messed with TWRP or flashed any custom ROMs, ever.
This morning, I was listening to my music when suddenly the phone stopped working.
When restarting the phone it loads the LG logo then turns to a black screen w/ the notification blue/red light.
How can I fix this? Or do I need a new phone? Also what was the cause to this?
I was updating the phone LS991 and after reboot, the display was distorted. I rebooted few times with a hope that would fix the screen but now there is no display at all. The phone boots fine, makes sound, i can swipe finger and can hear screen unlock sound, but there is no display. The backlight comes on i can see but screen remains black, just no display. On boot there is not even the LG logo.
Anyone can please help? it was on Marshmallow 6.

I have an international model but I had exactly the same problem. I send it for repair, and they changed the motherboard. It's all good now, everything working good. I had sn505 now the new motherboard is sn602. Which aerial number you have??
Sent from my LG-H815
Just disassemble the phone yourself and see if the connectors are well connected, reconnecting got the job done on my case
Hi guys, yesterday I worked on the phone and from one moment to another it went Black, I restarted it and when it turned on the image began to flash, I managed to put it in 60hz and 144hz and it was worse, when I entre the recovery mode it is seen without no problem, will it be a problem With the rom? Or screen died, if someone knows something ir would be very helpful, thanks!!
PD: when I adjust the brightness it works well, but once locked or opening some camera-like app it goes black and doesn't turn back on.
Hi,
I recently clean flashed Pixel Experience 12 plus rom on my Oneplus 5T (dumpling).
(file: PixelExperience_Plus_dumpling-12.1-20220614-1354-OFFICIAL.zip , source : https://download.pixelexperience.org/dumpling )
After that I am facing a serious issue regarding the display.
After screen is locked (by pressing the power button or using tap to sleep feature or screen time out), it does not light up at the time and after unlocking. The screen remains black. But it does not mean that the display is gone or the phone is turned off. Phone works perfectly fine at that stage except the issue. The touch, vibration, sound effects,locking-unlocking (through fingerprint), taking screen shot, notification and call facility etc. works normally.
Sometimes the screen flashes for some millisecond if I try to unlock it repeatedly but it is visible only in the dark room.
To get rid of this state I have to boot the phone in recovery (Orangefox) mode then turn it on or force restart the phone (force restart does not work every time. When it does not work the boot screen also remains black)
Surprisingly, I do not face the problem in fastboot mode or recovery mode. Also when Always On Display is on, I don’t face the black screen issue.
I have followed instructions mentioned in this page https://telegra.ph/How-to-install-Pixel-Experience-11-25
and flashed firmware.zip (whose link is provided on the page) and PE12 plus rom .
Please help to resolve this issue and let me know if you need any further information.
Thank you..
