Hey Guys, i just received my OP3 yesterday and i'm loving it but i found today that NFC is not working.
I tried to pair my Sony SBH-52 via NFC and found that NFC is not responding anywhere on the back of OP3.
So, i downloaded Superbeam on my S5 and OP3 and tried to connect them via nfc and still no response.
Thus, i just started this thread out as there is no post or thread about this, and i would like to understand if the NFC for is working on OP3 or does NFC on OP3 servers for android pay only or is my piece faulty?
Edit: i just found the solution that NFC is next to camera on the right side. I was able to pair it. requesting OP to please close this thread.
The sticker you have removed from the back just said so. It is not 'near' the camera but in the centre of it
Is Dash Charging working in this build ??? and how's the camera quality in this ROM is the same as in OP3 stock rom or it's different ?
Sorry wrong question.

help I have me problems with the camera of the elf!
Don't work me anymore! must I replace her it, would someone know me to say where to find her it?
And possible to replace the camera with one who has more pixelses? If him where I find her it?
excused to my English not and my fort…. Thanks to all beforetime!
What is the problem first of all?
And no, you can't put in a higher res camera.
ebay may have a replacement part.
the main problem and that the camera does not work me, and I have tried to inform to me in a center of assistance in my city (Trieste - Italy) and they have answered to me that the camera of reciprocation does not have to us and very difficult to reperire. And so me meeting without camera and this gives much annoyance to me being that drawn my Elf with much cure.
and on ebay they aren't successful to find it and for this I wondered if by chance it were possible to mount a camera of an other compatible model HTC with l Elf.?
Was it the HTC service centre that said the camera is broken? Did they mention if it was the detachable camera board, or something more?
All I can really suggest is backup, hard reset, does it work?
If not, well, then I would suggest maybe opening your device and checking how the camera board is seating into the mainboard. If it is all fine, you may need to find a new one. Either a new phone, or a new camera board from a dead elf.
Hello I just had my M8 camera replaced by a local repair center. They charged me $72.80 CAD for it. The camera of the m8 is gorgeous now but there are some times when it says duo camera is blocked when there is nothing blocking it. So...I did some research and they said recallibrating the camera after it has been disconnected from the board would be the best try. So....all of you smart XDA people, could I get some assistance?
Note: tried factory reset and cache wipe
Hello,
have you any experiance on this topic? Is there a solution available?
I have also the problem with blocked duo camera.
THX

Hi,
I've recently had the same issues. My camera was broke and I replaced it myself with another one. It works now but gives the message that the dual camera is blocked.
I did some research and found out that with every replacement of the camera, it needs to be calibrated. That is something that has to be done with the proper software (HTC related, and as far as I know, not available on the internet).
Hello everyone,
I have a LG G4 H815 which was damaged because of a drop. The screen cracked, was replaced and everything works fine except the front camera! The LG does not recognize having one! The camera app works fine and doesn't show any messages, nor will it open the front camera! No other app can access it. I flashed the original kdz with the newest Android version and user data was also deleted during the flash with LGUP. I do have 2 working replacement cameras, but they don't work either. As a last attempt, I resoldered the connector, but still, nothing!
Anyone an idea, where I could start searching? Maybe someone knows an other forum, where I could ask?
Motherboards are pretty rare and expensive, so I would like to fix this one first.
Thanks for your help!
The rear camera on my one plus 3 sudedenly stopped focussing
It worked great but about a week back, it suddenly went bad. I've tried using manual focus but that doesn't work either.
It only works at times when I vigously shake it and then it goes bad again
Has anyone encountered this issue? Any fixes?
There are no proper service centres where I live.

Probably a result of the camera module becoming loose due to a fall (not necessarily recent). Search on XDA for this issue. I remember reading about atleast a couple of threads/posts about having solved this issue. You will have to open the back of the phone, locate the camera module and fix it. Or order a new module and replace the old one. Costwise it is not too high.
Replace your camera - this is ONLY permanent fix.
I done it on my OP3T and it works again.
Had exactly the same issue (resolved temporarily after vigorous shaking - it's a known issue and quite common) last year with my OnePlus 3. TL;DR: Definitely contact OnePlus and they'll replace the camera module for free assuming no other physical or water damage. I have in the past had mediocre experiences with OnePlus support, so was frankly astonished at the way and speed in which they handled this. Should have a year or two of life left in the phone now and certainly a new sense of brand loyalty for future purchases.
As for my experience:
- Problems started in around February.
- Finally contacted OnePlus support via official chat in late November, was asked to factory reset to see if that helped. Didn't help.
- (25/11) They fast tracked my RMA request, even though out of warranty.
- (27/11) Phone sent by courier from UK to Poland for repair (as with you, no service centres here)
- (28/11) Device repaired
- (29/11) Phone sent back to me
- (02/12) Phone received a week after being sent and camera working perfectly. Total cost to me £0.
Side note: Definitely get a Google Camera mod once your phone is fixed if you don't already have one. Breathes a new lease of life into the camera with some software smarts. I use this one: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog849/ as recommended by the XDA Google Camera Port Hub.
Replaced for free

They replaced it for free as it was a manufacturing defect even though warranty was over.
One year ago my oneplus 3 experienced a hard time when rear camera focusing. I was in china, so I called oneplus support and the guy one the phone told me that i can mail my phone to the services center in beijing and then they replace a new rear camera for free(even though the warranty are expired).
Replace the rear camera may be the only fix. Perhaps you can call the services number on oneplus website and ask for help
Hello guys, I have a really big problem from a while. Actually im not shure from when, but I noticed hat when I tired to use Note as navigation. Problem is that then phone find satelites, lock GPS signal for a while and then starting to loosing signal, resarching locking witch interwals around 5 second and finally shut down for a while.... so for job as navigation is not a best option. I was trying to find any kind of hardware bug. I cleane all antena, motherboard, replace even whole parts including putting different motherboard for testing - yeah I know I should make a copy, but changing board was looking a quicker option.
So I get to point when I know it isnt be a hardware problem... so where I should look for a solution?

Hi, this is due to the Broadcom BCM4752 chip used by Samsung and it occurred after 6 april 2019 GPS rollover. Samsung could fix this with fixed firmware, but Samsung didn't, and I guess Samsung won't. Most of the Note 2 series use this chip, and if there is no firmware update, there is no chance but to continue using it with a GPS signal losing problem.
We have discussed this issue in detail before, please read what is written in the thread below, it will help you. :good:

Thanks for such a quick reply, yeah I read it however I was hopping this is not the case... well still my two other devices work without problem, if such kind of problems appear I just reboot them and this resolvr problem. One of those devices work on Jelly Bean android... im wondering if this could be a solution? Anyone check that allready maybe?
