OnePlus3 Finger print scanner issue while charging (Dash Charge / Normal Charge) - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I am facing a strange issue on my OnePlus3. The finger printer scanner is not unlocking the phone for 95% of attempts when the phone is in charge. It happens for both Dash charge and normal charge. However it works good without any issues during the time the phone is not in charge. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Asus zenfone 2 turning off issue

Hi all! Have problem with my zen2 (z551ml). When it reaches about 50-55% of battery it just turns off and then cant turn on without charger. It running the latest non rooted stock rom (ww-2.18.40.12). Actually had ultra fast battery draining issue on older version, but the last update fixed it and then came this. Please help! Thanks!
Hello, maybe the battery is miscalibrated, and 50% is really close to 0%. If your phone is rooted you can use an app to calibrate your battery by charging to 100% and then erasing battery stats, letting it go empty and charge it again to 100% without interruption.
But the possibility remains that it's a hardware fault.

Thanks, but if calibration wont work, what should I do?
If it's a hardware problem you should return it or take it for repair at the dealer or Asus service center.

Recommend using ASUS ZenUI app called ASUS Support. There are several helpful tips with basic troubleshooting techniques for your device. Apps/ASUS Support/Assistance/Battery.
If still not resolved possibly a hardware reset me be required: http://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1011956/
Note: All data stored on your phone will be deleted after reset.

Wireless charging fix

The default Samsung wireless chargers are having major issues with it pausing and screen waking.
Two fixes:
Set daydream on in display in settings. If screen locks or sleeps is the claiming issue of the pausing.
Or
Try using the default charger and cord that came with the phone.
The second option worked for me more than the first.
I think the issue is the long cord, so the current is weaker.
I don't have those issues
Wish i could get mine to work. I have tried turning on daydream but i dont want my screen to stay on the whole time its charging so i turned it back off

Running a third party launcher?
Fold a piece of paper in half set it on top of the wireless pad then place your phone. ?

I can tell u on mine it is not a software issue. And i dont thinks its my charger. I can put my regular s6 on there all day and not have it stop charging. Every time i put my plus on there it wont stay charging. Keeps saying charging paused after a short time and the blue light keeps blinking. Reason i doubt its a software issue is it does the same thing when phone is fully shut down

The main 2 fixes I keep seeing is that:
Wireless charger my be overpowered by charger and the other is daydream as a temp fix.
I have a case and my samsung wireless charger works just fine

This cant be right. Its a hardware issue with the phone itself. Prob something to do with the actual fast charging reciever inside the phone. I have charged my regular s6 without any issues dozens of times on the same charging pad that wont charge the edge+ or note 5. If yours works with the note5 or edge + then u got lucky. I dont think its a software issue as it does the same thing when phone is totally shut off

"Now" meaning it wasnt working before? Or has it always been working for u? Some people have been lucky enough to not have any charging issues. What did u do that made it atart working?

Wasn't working was pausing all the time. I bought one of those love Mei cases and now it works great. It may just be to close to the pad.
AOI6 update seems to slove this issue. Had no problems doing a quick top off. No problems overnight woke up to a full charge.

I've noticed, the temp fixes helped for a bit for me. Now not needed.
wireless charging issues
If any one still has wireless charging issues if you go to developer options and activate the stay awake while charging feature, the phone charges without pausing. My phone was experiencing the pausing while mid charge even after the update. I tried the daydream method that didnt work. But trying the stay awake while charging in the developer options drop down. It charges without pausing. Sweet!!! i thought i was going to have to buy a new charger, this one was free.

I've tried that but I noticed after the last update it started working fine. I think they fixed the cfg of the wireless charging.

Fast charging....

Recently I downgraded to 13b due to some notification issues I was having. After doing so I noticed when plugged into my Qualcomm 2.0 quick charger, the phone no longer says fast charging... Does fast charging only work in Marshmallow?

I don't think so since it was on lolipop before MM came out. Try the original cable it came with
Let me rephrase that. It no longer indicates it on the lock screen, I believe it still is, it just doesn't indicate so. Anyone else notice this?

Pixel Freezing During Charge

My Pixel XL keeps freezing after it is left charging overnight. The LED stays green and you have to force it to restart. The LED stays on even after it is unplugged and doesn't turn off until the phone is rebooted. I'm using LED Blinker Pro, rooted on NDE63P.

Hey, I'm using a Pixel 5" and I'm experiencing the same thing in the morning. I have to reset the phone to get it to power on.
What are you charging it with?

I wasn't using the stock charger. I was using a microusb charger and a microusb to USB3 adapter. Was thinking that was my problem. Guess not tho. I am rooted with twrp too. Are you?

I reflashed the factory image, updated the phone and installed TWRP and root. So far no issues.

Charging problem or bug?

Hello all,
Lately my Mi6 has been with some kind of problem when charging. Here's the deal:
I'll charge my phone to 100%, and in the next day, when I need to charge again, it does not charge- meaning it will not assume the charger is plugged in.
The thing is, if I turn off my device and start it again, it will assume the charging again. It can happen sometimes it does not assume the charging after restart, so i'll need to restart yet again the phone.
The phone when turned off does assume charging. I've factory reseted my phone, but it didn't change the bug.
What should I do? Is it even a hardware problem?
Dis u tried with another cable anotjer charger?
