Im currently running CleanRom. I was going to download SlimICS. I was told to flash it you need CWM so I tried to flash it through fast boot and which said OKAY. Once I tried to go into recovery I was in a bootloop with the HTC logo and the red warning. Had to hold the power to get the phone to cut back on. Now when I try to go into recovery it just sits on the HTC Logo screen. Can someone help me fix this please?
1. Reboot in Bootloader. (Power + Volume - )
2. Select Fastboot mode.
3. Open your cmd (for windows). Go to Fastboot folder.
4. Connect your phone to your PC.
5. Type: fastboot erase cache.
6. Then type fastboot reboot-bootloader
7. disconnect your phone from your PC and then enter to Recovery mode. That's it.

instead of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609190 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/wik...very_-_what_to_do_in_the_event_of_a_bad_flash
very simple steps :
- connect your phone when it stucks at bootloader (and battery is too low) to your computer and enter fastboot mode
- run Run.bat and enter : fastboot oem rebootRUU
- disconnect your phone from your computer and connect it to charge cable (you should charge your phone with power adapter not your computer)
- leave your phone for 3 hours
- enjoy
(at last hold power for reboot)
and if you wanna install 4.1.x (jelly beans) roms follow these simple steps :
- connect your phone to your computer and enter fastboot mode
- run Run.bat and enter : fastboot oem readcid
- check it with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376 and download the correct firmware.zip
- run Run.bat and enter : fastboot oem lock
- reboot then enter fastboot mode
- run Run.bat and enter : fastboot oem rebootRUU
- place firmware.zip besides Run.bat then run Run.bat and enter : fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
- again run Run.bat and enter : fastboot flash zip firmware.zip (you should do this)
- hold power for reboot
- unlock your phone with htcdev.com and install clockworkmod recovery then install 4.1.x (jelly beans) rom
good luck

i did the first steps but my phone charges a little and then go into bootloader for about 20 mins and it shuts down. and then charges again and do the same with the message that my battery is low and i cannot charge it. Is this normal ?
---------- Post added at 03:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:30 PM ----------
the screen should be the black screen with htc written on the center? because this time it is like this
I boot into Recovery, wipe the battery cache, link the chager, reboot into recovery, and the led becomes orange, wait 60 mins, and your HOX have the battery near 50%
Hi everyone,
I've also found that even when I was on 80% or 90%, running the RUU kept showing this issue.
I eventually found that booting the phone into fastboot before running the RUU exe solved the issue
this method works on Evo 3D also :good:
in a fix and no charge
I have same issue, with boot loader locked, recovery not working and an erased system partition.
I tried this command but it did boot into bootloader after some charging and eventually shutdown due to low charge while the led was red indicating charging.
Is there a way to get out of this or am really stuck.

Hi, I have the same problem and I followed your instructions but while the new firmware is installing from the sd card, the phone shut down.
It seems like it has no sufficient power to finish the operation. In fact I tried to plug the phone to charge the battery and that don't work...at least the led is not on (but I'm pretty sure it's not charging).
After that the only things I can do is to power on again and see the boot loop.
Any idea on how to solve?
Thanks.

Shutdown or reboots? The op said that was a G510 and this is the P6 forum
Probably you have the recovery corrupted, you need to reflash stock recovery again via fastboot
THIS IS FOR THE Ascend P6, NOT for the G510

Can you please tell me how to do?

My problem was that when into the original recovery, after a few seconds, phone reboots and back up to kernel logo
The full command for flash is: fastboot flash recovery recovery_original_flashable.img

It happens the same to me, but I don't know how to do.
I'm a newbie and I'm not familiar with this command...could you kindly explain what I have to do step by step?
I posted you fastboot noob-friendly tutorials
1st you need fastboot installed and P6 and fastboot drivers
Asumming you already have downloader the image and you are in windows, open a cmd promp and navigate (using cd command) to your fastboot directory, place recovery_original_flashable.img in this folder. If your phone is shutdown, hold vol- and plug the usb cable (if it's continuous rebooting, hold vol- and power button until phone reboots and kernel logo come up)
Type on the cmd promt: fastboot devices , if you see under devices attached, ??????????? or numbers and letters, your phone is connected into fastboot mode
If you don't have this, check if the drivers was correctly installed.
With the phone connected in fastboot mode, type in the cmd promt: fastboot flash recovery recovery_original_flashable.img
After this command finish, type fastboot reboot and enter into the default recovery and try to update the system
I not guarantee the exit of this operation, this solved my problem, but maybe yours not. If you aren't sure, ask here or send phone to your repair center

I am using Huawei G 510-0200 in Pakistan. I had rooted my cell phone and was converting a user app into system app via Titanium backup. The process was taking long time so force closed Titanium Backup app. This caused phone crash and it restarted and hung up at huawei logo.
Now i tried factory data reset and clearing cache in Power and Volume + key mode. It did not work. I tried applying update (two different roms, one custom pakistani rom and other was normal g510-0200 rom) in the same mode but it shows installation aborted.
I tried Forced Firmware Update mode too. I placed update.app file in the sd card and restarted cell phone by holding Volume+, Volume- and Power key. In that mode, it shows unpacking Step 1/2 for a while and then instead of installing, it shows Update Failed.
Error log shows this:
filename = /mmc1/dload/update.app call RCV_MODULE_END_EVENT failed,module = OEMSBL_VER_LIST CMD=0xf,moduleaddr = 0xd2000000, len_tmp=0x4000
I have tried everywhere and I'll be really greatful if you can sort this out for me. :crying:

HI all,
I've asked this question on the firmware thread, but I do not have an answer. So I'm trying here.
I installed the new firmware without any problems. But after the reboot I'm stuck on the white screen with the green logo, and I do not have connection with the computer via fastboot (waiting for device). As against the phone is communicating with the computer by HTC Sync or Windows Explorer.
What can I do?
Thanks

How did you install the firmware?
Have you tried fastboot from the bootloader?
thanks clsA
For mike's method (re-lock the bootloader and fastboot) :
1.If you are S-ON ---> Re-lock your bootloader (this will most probably wipe content of your device)
2.If you are S-OFF ---> no need to re-lock the bootloader.
3.Copy downloaded .zip to fastboot.exe location (e.g. c:/SDK/platform-tools/fastboot.exe)
4.Re-name .zip file to firmware.zip
5.Open command prompt
6.Boot your device in fastboot mode (vol down + power ===> fastboot)
7.Connect device to the PC
8.In command prompt cd to fastboot.exe location
9.Make sure you have correct modeid and cidnum (type: fastboot getvar all)
10.Type: fastboot oem lock (if your device is not relocked yet or in case it's S-ON)
11.Type: fastboot oem rebootRUU and wait for device to reboot
12.Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
13.Sometimes flashing for the first time doesn't work, so flash firmware.zip again just to make sure.
14.Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
15.Type: fastboot reboot
Currently I have no access to the bootloader
Although the phone is stuck on the white screen it rings when they call me
Turn off the phone holding power button for almost 15seconds till completely shut down. Then hold volume down and power button. You'll be able to enter boot loader. Also provide more details...version firmware, rom, etc
Are you flash a fw twice ?
Try to unlock bootloader and recovery again brother

I can not. The only possible action is Power and he returns on the white screen.

Yes, twice. And it was ok. I do not have access to the bootloader
You don't provide enough details. But for me it seems like you flash firmware with stock recovery and if you have custom Rom the phone won't boot. Are you sure you are shutting down the phone properly? Then hold volume down for a second. Then WITHOUT release the volume button hold down power WITHOUT release anything till I boot to boot loader?
The phone vibrates once and nothing happens. Still the white screen.
hold power + vol up....if the phone reboots...hold vol down...

Disconnect your phone from PC/Laptop.. Power it off.
Once it is off, hold down the volume up button and hold on to the power button until the phone vibrates.
After the vibration stops, release the power button and continue pressing the volume up button until the
green Android robot appears. You should see a blue line below saying "Waiting Fastboot command"
Now connect your phone via USB to your computer.
At the flashtools folder press Shift + Right Click.. Then select "Open command here"...
Copy and paste the following commands in the command prompt window (line by line) and press enter after each line. WAIT for the process to complete before copying and pasting the next line:
Code:
fastboot erase cache
THANKZZZ BRO!!! ... at first it did not work ... i rebooted 3x but it stll gave me dead android error ... then I plugged it into my PC while phone off, powered on, and it booted android ... yay!!!
Now I need to fix constant random reboot error ... ever had this problem?
PS - did u ever have this reboot problem? I actually was typing a new thread while my ZF2 came back to life
2) My ZF2 is Stock / Unrooted / Locked Bootloader (I never f*cked with any of that)
My phone was randomly restarting, so I decided to Factory Reset it. Went to (stock) recovery, but decided to wipe cache first (to avoid bricking the phone)
