Using dual SIM, is there a quick way to switch between data? - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
As title states, I'm after a quick way to toggle data between two SIMs without having to go into settings everytime. I've checked the oneplus forums and there's no help there.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

There are several dual sim control apps on Google Play, maybe there's something fitting for you?

[Q] tasker and dual sim

Hi,
late to the party i know, but i am just starting with tasker.
anyone here with a dual sim phone using tasker?
normal timer and alarm stuff is working fine as well as integration with zooper widget
i am trying to set up a location dependant set of tasks using 'cell near' but nothing was happening.
after many trys and settings and (of course) googling, i realised that my main sim was in slot 2 and slot 1 was switched off (it mostly is as its foreign).
when i turned on sim1 it all started to happen and the cell towers were found instantly.
are there any special functions/apps that can control the use of sim slots for various tasks and settings?
thanks.
I am also looking for some similar solution for my One Plus 2 phone with Dual Sim. If you found something please do share the same here.

Roaming options missing

Hi, I've got a following problem with my G2 I'm using outside of us, the Roaming options is simply missing from the setting, also there is no roaming checkbox in the mobile data, tried different roms, both stock and mods and these options are still missing. The phone is sim unlocked atm but when it was locked there still were no options. With some sim cards it works totally fine but with others it gives an annoying message from the call guard. The phone is not activated with Sprint, can this be a cause? Also if it is the cause is it possible to somehow activate it remotely being outside of US? Any help appreciated

Thought it will require some sweat, an automatization app called Tasker may be able to do it for you.

Quick Sim Switch

Anyone have any quick sim switch widgets for this phone? I am rooted on the stock system otherwise. Tried multiple from the play store without succes.

Try FiSwitch https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cheekydevs.fiswitch
You can add a Sim Switch button on the widget

Question How to quick switch DATA between the SIM

As the title suggests, I ask you more experts if there is a quick way to quickly switch from a data connection on SIM1 to a data connection on SIM2 without having to first open all the submenus until you reach that of the sim on which to activate data traffic.
To do this I currently see no better solution than to browse the Menu: settings - internet network - sim - simX - Mobile data button - confirm by pressing ok
(instead for example on Xiaomi and Oneplus there is a toggle in the quick settings for the same android version)
If it doesn't exist, is there a way to retrieve it or a 3rd party application to use a widget?
A thousand thanks!

Device would be treated as Pixel 3, so I guess there might be more side effects like call screening, etc not working?

i'm still waiting for EE to not F-up my esim delivery so i can't yet comment on how it works on the 6 pro but on my old phone, (galaxy s20 fe 5g) there is an seperate menu called sim manager that gives you the option to chose wich sim to use for data calls and text and there is a toggle to use the other sim if one sim has no data connection.
