RTL2832U Modules needed, DVB-T not DAB+ - MTCB Android Head Units Q&A

More information here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1841759
Willing to pay £10 to any one who can get DVB-T working via DroidTV on my MTCB device.
I have a Climax Digital DTV300 - HW ID USB\VID_1F4D&PID_D803&MI_00 - RTL2832U
I have DAB+ working with RTL2832U but to get DroidTV to work it needs to have modules built in and accessible via legacy methods such as root access to /dev/dvb/adapter0

I'm running malaysks latest non lollipop rom

SM-P605 Problem with IR Blaster

I have updated my tablet from lollipop 5.1.1. to unofficial LineageOS (CyanogenMod) 14.1 7.1.1 . - which workes great. I restored the applications with Titanium backup. Unfortunately the Infrared dont work.
So far i have checked/testet:
- ROM seems to support IR - at last /permissions/android/hardware/consumerir.xml is present.
- I have installed Anymote Smart Remote 4.2.2 ( and 4.2.8 as it installed as extra app)
- by testing IR with the camera from my phone there is a violet flash when using Anymote 4.2.2 with alternate Ir-Commands or when usind peel-remote - but nothing with version 4.2.8 - an no reaktion from my devices.
- installed ANT (ANT HAL ist not present)
any ideas?

Has anyone successfully paired their DS3 / SIXAXIS controllers?

Has anyone successfully paired either a Sixaxis or DS3 controller to their Pixel 2 XL
I changed the MAC address to match the device and I've tried all of the following with Magisk.
Stock 8.1
Stock 8.1 w/ Flash Kernel
LineageOS
Are there any build.prop mods that I could use to force bluetooth to make this connection?
I read of someone having trouble on their LG V20 using Magisk instead of SuperSU, but I'm not convinced that would help. I have two Le Eco S2's running crDroid (based on LineageOS) with Magisk, and it syncs perfectly.
Sixaxis compatibility app says the device is capable, but the 4 red dots just blink endlessly when trying to pair after the server has been initiated.

Remove Bluetooth functionality

How can I remove bluetooth functionality before install LineageOs ROM ?
I need that my phone has no bluetooth at all.
Thanks.
Maybe you can learn from replicant

PlayStation apps on px3

This was my original setup stock unit:
Px3 (1024x600 0)
Android 7.1.2
Patch lvl may 5 2017
Kernel 3.0.101+
Mcu version mtcd_xrc_v2. 58_1
Cpu arm cortex-a9 @1.6ghz (x4
I flashed Hal9k Rom and currently have magisk v18 installed. I then used magisk to install Sony framework to be able to use Sony apps.
I installed remote play and psvue. I then proceeded to hide them with magisk hide. I still get errors for remote play (the one saying my device is rooted) and psvue comes on without the black screen saying it isn't supported for rooted devices. However I can't scroll down the screen to click sign in my account.
If anyone at all can help me, I would be very grateful and so would my children during long commutes to and from.
UPDATE: I got PSVue to work flawlessly. And I though I got remote play working but unfortunately, it will not register ps4, however the app itself isn't blocker or detects my root. Getting closer to my overall goal.

Bluetooth LDAC

Is there a way to have LDAC bluetooth codec back?
I have Android 9, many months ago was available from Developer Menu, but with latest security patches, it does not work anymore: you can select LDAC from Developer Options but the settings disappear as soon as you get out from the menu.
Before it worked (I have Sony MD-1000X headphone which supports LDAC).

I have the same problem, and don't really care about installing a custom rom.

On stock, not even AAC Bluetooth can be selectable after like April 2019 update version (my father's Pioneer car system does have AAC BT mode). It can be selected in Dev Opts, but after you exit the option, it will revert back to SBC (normal) mode and also the audio did not changed too. I guess it's another bug by Xiaomeme that haven't fixed.
...and I have moved out to just using custom ROMs long ago, then these modes (AAC, APTX, etc.) works as intended.

Could you tell me which custom ROM / ROMs are you using with Mi A2 Lite to have Aptx and LDAC back (and where to find these ROMs)?
Thank you

On POSP (and I think many AOSP-based ROMs), it managed to activate the AAC Bluetooth automatically with my father's car stereo. On virtually any Android Pie custom ROMs, most can switch modes to APTX (when I did have the KZ Earphones Bluetooth module with APTX, now dead due to my KZ BT module's capacitor died suddenly).
Ok, I managed to keep stock rom and add at least aptx support with unlocked bootloader + magisk + magisk modules.
Just hope that Xiaomi will fix this with Android 10 update

Any guide or instructions to do that? I'm not so experience with ROMs and magisk...
If I understood you well I need to:
- unlock bootloader
- install magisk and than magisk modules (I can Google)
But no need for root rights and a full custom ROM like POSP, correct?
And no support for Ldac anyway?

Magisk is a rooting tool (like SuperSU) and using modules need root (but custom ROM isn't needed if you just want stock). You need an unlocked bootloader, Magisk manager APK, a patched boot.img (should be matched your stock version 10.0.x.0) and some steps to have it rooted.

I unlocked the bootloader using this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-losing-user-data-t4053743
Then installed magisk using this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/guide-install-magisk-proper-support-ota-t3836952 (scroll until the end of the thread to find the jan 2020 patched .img)
And then, installed a magisk module for aptx.
No LDAC for now.
