Anyone else getting jerky video play back from the Video recorder? Stuttering and frame drops appear to be prevalent on my HTC 10. I have my Video recorder set on 'High Quality.

Ahh, looks to be that HTC 10 only supports 30fps. That's pretty crazy how a flagship phone does not even record at 60fps. Grr, will prob have to return this.

My 4k videos are by no means jerky

Noob question...so does my phone have this ability already? If I look in the video quality selection in the camera it says "high, low, mms and Youtube? Does youtube mean 720p?
Yes it does. The high setting is 720p.

I recently purchased the HTC One M8 after having the iPhone 5s, the only complain I have right now is that recording videos on snapchat sucks on this phone. When I record videos it gets all choppy and pixelated. Does anyone know a way to make the video recording better on snapchat?

Anyone know if there is a camera port capable of higher fps for slo-mo recording? Like the stock camera is capable of.

This would be extremely helpful. Its the only reason I keep going back to a Sense based ROM.
I like to create Auto Awesome videos after my family goes out and does something fun. Having some Slow Motion clips in there really makes it cool
As the title suggest. Is there any differences between Slow Motion Recording via Time Shift mod and Slow Motion video edited using the Movie Creator app? Can someone make and upload the comparison? Thanks.

The Timeshift mod is probably recording at a higher frame rate so you get smooth slow-mo, the app would be slowing the video down, so will probably look jerky (never used it though)

Yeah it does look kinda blurry. I really don't feel like modding my Z1C... ? I'll try looking more into this, thanks dude.

Hi,
Slowmotion edition will never be as good as slowmotion recording.
Guess you're talking about the 120fps timeshift mod.
With this mod, you'll take 4 times more frames/sec than usually. So when you'll bring it back to 30fps, all your 30 frames will be different, resulting in a very smooth slowmotion video.
In the other hand, if you're editing a "normal" video (30fps) to 4 time slower, you will just duplicate each frame 4 times. You'll just have an illusion of slowmotion. But your video will only be 7-8 fps.
I mod my Z1c a week after I bought it... I have no regret.

Yeah, at first I didn't want to install the mod cuz you had to have custom recovery. Turns out you only need Xposed. Now I'm loving this Timeshift Video thing ?
I put my 10 side by side with my LG V10 and played multiple songs and video clips and the htc is consistently inferior on quality and volume. Like not even close. Have tried theater and music mode.
Am i missing something? Stock setup. Was so looking forward to an M8 like sound experience but so far am not impressed.
Dud unit?

Dud don't think so. I also believe that the speakers on this phone is inferior to the Moto x pure. It sounds good but not loud enough.
Sent from my HTC 10 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Loudness and clarity are two totally different things. Is it not clear or loud enough because coming from an M8 my 10 sounds clearer/cleaner.

It's not near as loud but also doesn't sound nearly as crisp. Almost tinny on my htc.

Do you have it in theater or music mode? The former for videos and the latter for songs.
