hi,
i'm asking for help , i have the new lastest version of cyanogenmod 11 kitkat , it's just amazing and great , no more version faster then this , but i have one problem , my battery !!!! so it's take me just 1 day as normal using , how to calibrate my battery in this version 4.4.2 , i think the other method will not workin in this version android so help me to calibrate this great version of kitkat
Like I replied in your other post, install Better Battery Stats and check your wake locks and alarms. And please don't double post.
Try to wipe the battery state.
And which cm11 rom you use?
Do you device always reboot itself?
I recently went back to Kitkat because there was too much battery drain in lollipop. Also lot of apps were not compatible with lollipop.
So first of all I installed cm11, but stock cm is too boring for me. Please recommend some kitkat custom roms. Any roms are appreciated (eg AOSP, Touchwiz)
Grab an older version of IronRom. Still running this on my T800 as not enough changes for me to upgrade to Lollipop. Great battery life and speed.

Hello Team,
I do have a Zenfone2 Z00AD, 2GB Ram, and 16GB internal memory.
I kinda seem to find it slow, with the apps and games I have installed in it, it is currently in official firmware.
I am planning to install custom firmware in it, can you guys give me some advice in which custom rom is so far the best that you have tried for zf2?
What I am looking for a custom rom to address for my zf2 are th following:
rooted by default
ready for xposed (if possible)
not power hungry (battery friendly)
debloated (most stock/unnecessary apps removed)
themable (optional)
fast/smooth system/UI
Will have long term support/update (incase if the marshmallow android version will already be officially available for zf2)
So far, what I have in mind are echozen (echoe rom?) and slimp.
Any other suggestion guys will be highly appreciated.
Thank you!
each person have different opinion about what's the best custom rom, i have tried CM 12.1 , Cm 13, RR Remix, the last i try is AICP Rom and since then i stick with this Rom until now, more or less AICP Rom is the most suitable custom rom for my need, to know which Rom you need the most, you should try them, but don't expect too much (looking for perfectness rom) because each rom have plus and minus. to answer your questions in AICP Rom that i use:
rooted by default yes
ready for xposed (if possible) i know nothing about xposed and don't really care either
not power hungry (battery friendly) yes
debloated (most stock/unnecessary apps removed) yes
themable (optional) yes
fast/smooth system/UI yes
Will have long term support/update (incase if the marshmallow android version will already be officially available for zf2) until now the developer always give an update
Hello, i am on stock 7.0 nougat and i am dissatisfied with battery. On 7.1 preview battery was better, but not much. And it still beta, so i have worry about stability.
What rom do you recommend me please ? What about PureNexus ? I try older 7.0 build and battery was worse than 7.0 stock. Should i try custom kernel like franco ?
Thank you and sry for bad english.

Of course, a custom kernel would help. Give Franco a go, but in majority cases, ROM is the culprit. Purenexus is a good option but stock 7.0.0 along with Naptime(an app) along with Franco is the perfect combination for me.
You should experiment with different ROM + kernel combinations on your own and see yourself, which one suits best for your needs.

If Q rom has its own custom kernels, you may flash another (stock) rom to get other (custom) kernels running.
If you want to keep your current rom and only optimize battery life, I recommend to install BetterBatteryStats app, record an idle dump and post it in the BBS thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/app-2-2-05-oct-v2-4-betterbatterystats.1179809/)
There are some experts helping to analyze and giving advices how to optimize battery life on your device.
