[Q] Not seeing any changes in Exposed Framework.

I have a SGH i317m. I rooted my note 2 on 4.3 for the time today and initially knox kicked in and blocked supersu. On the playstore it didn't give me the option to update it like some of the solutions said, so i uninstalled it and installed it again and it was fine. Root checker says I have root access and I'm able to use titanium back up pro and back up apps and freeze them, at least that's what it says and lets me do. I now downloaded xposed framework and started downloading modules and for example I downloaded the XBlast tools module and only certain things show as a change for me. Also when i reboot my phone, soon as it reboots it tells me "unfortunately, supersu has stopped working" .The way I've been getting around this is by just reinstalling it from es file explorer using the apk and it works again. I'm just worried my phone isn't entirely rooted (if that's possible) because I don't see colour changes that i customize in XBlast Tools. Only the battery icon can be changed and it i can't even change the backroudn colour of the status bar like it gives me as an option.
Much appreciated.

[Q] Hide root with Rootcloak - MHXR

Hello,
Is there anyway to make a safe root hide with this app? (Rootcloak), i want to play MXHR but it's a message telling me have a rooted device. Thanks!.
I got a F460K with Liangyz70 5.5 rom.
What is MXHR?
Try installing Xposed, and in xposed install No Device Check.
MXHR is a highly popular game with over 2 million download, it was called Monster Hunter Explore. I have already installed the xposed framework and rootcloak properly, but I seems that it can't hide the root status for this game.
The only way to play the game is to temp disable root in SuperSU. However, I have a lot of other system apps need root, is there any possible update to fix the problem, thank you.

Thanks, but prior to your suggestion, I tried that together with rootcloak simultaneously also. However, still not success. The only way now is to check the box of unroot in supersu before run the game, and check it back after the game run.: It is crucial since the battery saving kernel will make the game very laggy without root, with root I can use Setcpu to fix the cpu clock.

Navigation Bar tweaks on rooted H815 Lollipop 5.1

hey,
I rooted my phone with the low effort method (because of locked BL) and used this image as my pre-rooted image. Everything worked, but now I want to change the navigation bar size/height, it's a bit too small.
I searched the thread, but people say to look at the first post there, which was edited or something, because it doesnt say anything about changing navbar size. It seems in order to change navbar DPI, I need to flash a new navbar using FlashFire? Are there no working Xposed modules to do that? I tried Gravity Box, but that didn't work.
Is it possible to change dpi for navigation bar only using texdroider DPI?
I use the 5.3.3 version of gravitybox (5.3.4 didn't work for me with the longpress-switch audio tracks) and tested, I was able to adjust the height of the navbar easily. I actually shrink mine down to 75% but it should work.

You used the same pre-rooted image? Version 10e?
If so, maybe I'm doing something wrong in Xposed or Gravity Box. Sry, first time rooted Android :/
Whats the procedure here, exactly? I go to xposed, download Gravity Box, activate it in xposed under "modules", reboot the phone, go into Gravity Box -> navigation bar, activate the main switch at the top and adjust the bar height. Nothing changes, even after a reboot. Am I doing this wrong?
Edit: got it to work. Not sure what the issue was, what I did differently this time was downloading 5.3.3 instead of 5.3.4 and I rebooted a 2nd time after activating the main switch at the top of navigation bar settings.

How did you managed to install xposed? I'm using rooted 5.1 v10c version and when trying to install xposed it says to me that xposed is not compatible with android sdk version 22 or my processor architecture. What can I do?

You are trying to install Xposed, not the XposedInstaller.apk, right? I dont really know what this error is, but it sounds like you are missing the actual Xposed framework on your phone. You have to install the framework first, then the installer.apk.
I followed this guide:
joined the beta group, downloaded FlashFire from Google Play store (it says it can take up to several hours until the link works for you, I just had to refresh and it worked after a few seconds)
downloaded the xposed-v79-sdk22-arm64.zip and XposedInstaller.apk, put them both in a folder on external SD (can be placed anywhere on the phone)
installed Xposed using FlashFire
after phone rebooted, installed XposedInstaller.apk and I was done.
edit: I should also mention Im on 10e, but that's hardly the issue. Im sure it works on 10c also. If not, you could flash a new firmware (10e) on it, you will lose root though and will have to redo it. Xposed is powerful and root is not the same without it, in my opinion, so I would really want to have it.
Short guide what you could do:
flash 10e using this guide (I used the Poland H81510e KDZ)
download this pre-rooted 10e image
follow the low effort guide and use the dd command from the 10e image

Root access problems on Cyanogenmod 13

Hello to all (i have no idea if i am posting this in the right place sorry)
I have recently installed Cyanogenmod 13 on my Asus Zenfone 2 Laser/Selfie (1080p) (Asus-Z00T)
My phone works grate besides the fact that i have root access problems.
First i enabled developer options then enabled root (as now since Cyanogenmod 12 it is hidden) i installed busybox i grant it root access .So far so good nothing unusual i then install clean master then give it root access then when i try to use clean master to stop apps auto starting and i got an error no root access i then installed lucky patcher granted it root access no problem then when i tried patching a app to remove adds i got another root access error.
(I have had problems like this on Cyanogenmod 12)
Now with Cyanogenmod 11 if i get a little root bug i just go to super user app under system settings and delete the app access and then give it new root access again that solves the problem.
IT would seam that since CM12/CM13 there is no superuser app on board and no superuser settings either i have looked everywhere and i just can't find it.
I have the feeling that now root has become just a developer option it is not as good as on Cyanogenmod 11 but i could be wrong.
Could anyone help me please ?? is there a way to fix root access errors ???
The supersu type settings are in settings /privacy/privacy guard

Try re-rooting your device, in the worst case, flash stock rom, then flash cyanaogenmod and then root your device.
Hope this solves your problem.

Xposed Framework+Root Cloak

A banking app does not run because of a rooted device.
have Magisk 23.0, tried MagiskHide.....no joy.
Google search resulted another option Xposed Installer+RootCloak
Downloaded and run Xposed 3.1.5....not installed, no matching zip were found.
Phone is an LG G4 H812, flashed with Pixel Experience Android 9, detected as an LG-H815.
Any suggestion on how to get Xposed+RootCloak installed ? or any other way to trick banking app?
Thanks!

The trick is:
Install magisk
Go in magisk settings and repackage magisk to hide it
Install your banking app but do NOT start it
Hide magisk for that app in magisk settings
Install Insular or Shelter
Use insular/shelter to clone the banking app into the work profile
Start the banking app from within insular/shelter so that it starts from the working profile NOT from regular android
Enjoy.
Thanks for your reply.
Although x-posed framework developing stopped, managed to find an unofficiaial version, and after I was able to install and run RootCloak....however bank app still did not work.
Back to stock....
Installed Freedom_OS_H815_v7.5
It is Nougat 7.0, software v29a, +flashed with Titan kernel v1.8.
Aroma installer is a great feature, every custom ROM should have it, to be able select what you want to install.
I am not familiar with Insular/Shelter app and usage, more to learn....
