I bought the same model (black version from Pillar, as mentioned in S7yler's review) and the Home button doesn't work...
(it may have worked before I rooted the phone by Framaroot, I'm not sure, I can't remember :-\ )
Any clues?!

Solved... re-flashed using s7yler's ROM from needrom.com (the newer one from black version) and home button is working again.

I bought a clone Note 4. It does not read any sim card. The "Mobile Networks" is greyed out. Please see attached pictures.
I tried doing a factory reset, but that doesn't work. Please help me. Thank you.

First check if the phone has the IMEI correct, by typing *#06# in the dialer (since it shows no mobile network there could be a problem with the IMEI), if no IMEI then you can flash the IMEI into the phone using MTK Droid Tools.

Hi, I did *#06#, and it does show an IMEI number. So, something is wrong with that IMEI number? I'm trying to use phone on my network T-Mobile. Should I try to reflash firmware/rom? I see there are a bunch on needroms.com. Can you please show me which one is compatible with my clone? Thank you.

Maybe T-Mobile does not support the network that the phone support. Or the IMEI is not allowed on T-mobiles network. Maybe you should try with another provider/SIM card. I don't think that flashing another ROM will help anything, and also I don't know what ROM is for your model. And flashing a wrong ROM could give you more problems on the phone.

Sorry but I believe that the Gear only can work with original Samsung phones.

Everything works great the only thing that's missing is to get the rom.

I am still waiting for the rom from pillar i diddnt get it yet but if you are anxious to get it back and working you can try s7yler's back up rom

P.S. I think that with deleting some apps from the phone it would not brick your phone have you tried factory reset?
I can't make you a back up from mine because i haven't find a way to root it at it needs to be rooted to use mtk droid tools, and i am not too much familiar with the process with
how to make a back up rom if anyone can point me out some guidelines then i will.

this rom is to be updated via flashtools.
i dont know if someone can covert it for you to be flashed through recovery, maybe someone with more experience can do it.

I have tried all one click root options and with latest firmware I'm unable to get root access. I don't know any other way.

google for Oppo Tools 1.6.5
copy to your Oppo R7S and install it. you will have a root option. this is how I rooted mine. works flawless. once the SuperSU binary is installed. you can uninstall the Oppo Tools

i cant root with this app, it stucked for 1 second then ntg happen

make sure you copy the "Oppo Tools 1.6.5" to your internal memory and enable the option to install unknown apk (in security settings)
make sure it is version 1.6.5. I read that version 1.6.4 is not working.
install Oppo Tools 1.6.5
once you install Oppo Tools (pretty big apk around 60-80mb) start the app. there will be a root option.
click root after that it should ask for reboot.
i took a screenshot of my Rom Version and root validator for proof.

Just some information Oppo Tools does not work on build No R7sfEX_11_151210.

i know wats the problem now,i m using the latest firmware(which is 151210), it blocks the oppo tools from installing~~
now i had downgraded my phone, it can be rooted now, btw thx

flashing will wipe your data. so make sure you create a backup of your data and copy them to your computer.
flash the previous firmware here using the stock recovery
follow this guide here
here is a short summary for reference to everyone looking to root this phone with OppoTools 1.6.5:
Firmware: "R7sfEX_11.A.04_INT_004_201511111804" = rooting works with Oppo Tools 1.6.5 (Tested and Confirmed myself)
Firmware: "R7sfEX_11_OTA_005_all_wipe_201511191402" = rooting works (Confirmed by stupidfellow1997)

Sorry bro but did you tried fastboot oem unlock -may be lenovo had allowed to unlock it(but chances are 0.1/100)
Did also kingroot not worked?

Yes was trying kingroot but no succes
And dont want to unlock bootloader now maybe they can root mm without unlocking

Okay so coming to the bootloader unlock part,
After flashing Marshmallow, which definitely works,

your device will be formatted and will reboot to fastboot again.
Press and hold the Power button and it will shut down and then press and hold again and your device will start
NOTE:-This Bootloader unlock must be performed by advanced users, Also the Marshmallow ROM can't be rooted using kingroot Thats the only downside.. But still..
I tested this 'RIGHT NOW' and just typed this thread in case a developer can now create ROMs and stuff.

Yeah sure
But could you share its screenshot or a pic by other phone
Just do this
Connect your bootloader unlocked phone to pc
Usb debugging on
In cmd type adb rebbot bootloader
Now in fastboot mode type
fastboot getvar all
Now provide pic of the result of this command.
I recommend adding a text of your name on pic so to avoid other's claim but don't place any text to hide any info other than IMEI.

Good news friends unlocked boot loader in lollipop ROM and installed twrp recovery and it worked.
Sadly phone after 3-4 boots got stucked in bootloop and had to reflash stock ROM.
So I think the days are very near for our phone with custom recovery installed.
The countdown has started friends.

[GUIDE] Flashing Remix OS on Teclast X16 Plus

A fellow member asked for instruction to getting Remix OS installed on Teclast X16 Plus, thus a simple write up below:
1) Download the necessary drivers - https://www.mediafire.com/?p723or9hxip5eu8
2) Download the Remix OS ROM (latest version from Teclast page B2016062701) - http://www.mediafire.com/download/84723txtl4gklzu/B2016062701.rar
3) Install the drivers in this exact sequence below
- iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.2.0.exe
- IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.10.0.zip
- PhoneFlashToolLite_5.5.2.0_win32.exe
When you reached the PhoneFlashToolLite installation, you will be prompted to override some of the earlier drivers installed, it is fine to override and proceed
4) Run "Phone Flash Tool LIte" , click "Browse”, go to the folder where you have downloaded and uncompressed the Remix OS ROM, choose "flash.json" and click ok

5) Shutdown your X16 Plus from within Android, after which press simultaneously "vol up + vol down + power" buttons, release them when you see the words "DNX FASTBOOT MODE" on the screen
6) Connect your X16 Plus to your PC / laptop, if doing it for the first time, wait for the devices to be detected properly and drivers installed, by the end of which you should see on "Phone Flash Tool" a connected status and "Start to Flash" box turning blue.
7) When the flash is successful, the progress bar will turn green and shows 100%, the tablet will be disconnected automatically as it reboots, you can unplug the cable and let it boot up. The whole flashing takes about 2mins 45secs for me.
My views on the pros and cons of Remix OS:
- real easy multi windows tasking
- very solid battery life during standby
- UI is fluid and responsive
- yet to encounter an app that is incompatible and apps run well
- if a mouse is connected, right clicking will bring up functions similar to that of windows and mac os
- still a work in progress as some settings that is considered basic are not available, like "Battery"
- does not support widgets

Hi. A new x16 power owner here. Any update on root?

Is there any chance this would work for the X16 Pro?

Hi. I tried to install this but can't seemed to install well. Just saw the remix os logo and then it got shut down. And I lost my windows os on the dual boot session at the beginning.
Anyone knows how do I get my windows os back and got this remix working too?

this is NOT for X16 Power, it is for X16 Plus, suggest you follow Teclast's instructions on how to flash win10 back onto the tablet.

I just want to understand well (cause I'm able to root phones or tablets, but only with a detailled methode from guys like you ^^):
Is it a multi-languages rom ?
It it a rooted rom ?
Is it a dual boot Windows/Android or only windows or only Android ?
Is it "attractive" for a basic use (I mean, for my girlfriend ^^)

It's halfway working and there's a couple other threads about installing it. Several different versions of that model make it more complicated. You may need to swap in a different gpt.bin to make it flash if it's a c2e3 model. Camera, rotation, and sound wouldn't work for me. YMMV

I received my X16 Plus 2 days ago and started to hack around. I managed to get a working TWRP and flash SuperSU from there if you're interested in gaining root privileges on it.
I would be happy to create a post to share it in the developers section but XDA rules doesn't allow me to post there before I posted 10 messages in general section (too bad for this time, though I understand the rule)
Would you be interested by my TWRP for the X16 Plus in order to be able to flash superSU through it ?

I registered on XDA exactly to do that,create the tutorial and provide the recovery. Unfortunately I discovered the "5 to10 messages before to post in developers section" XDA rule after my registration ?
It looks like I can post yet though, so I'll create the tutorial and host the TWRP image soon enough.

Part -A Configure Computer
1) Download and extract the Stock firmware, Setup tools & Drivers
2) Install ADB Drivers
3) Install Lenovo ZUK Z2 PLUS (2132) Drivers
4) Setup Tool all in one
5) Setup Mi Flash tool
Part -B Booting device in to EDL Mode
Note : Thank to @mauronofrio for his tool
1) Enable Android debugging (ADB) in developer options
2) Connect your device to PC
3) open Tool all in one
4) The tool detects your device and pop up a window on your z2 plus device
5) chick and click OK
6) Know go to Tool all in one > Advance Options
7) click Reboot EDL
8) Device will boot in to EDL Mode
Part -C Flashing stock Firmware
1) Open Mi Flash tool
2) Click on refresh to detect your Z2 plus as COM X ( Note : X represents device port numbers )
3) If you want to lock bootloader then select " clear all and lock " which was present on right bottom corner
4)Click on flash
Note : Never disconnect your device while MI tool was flashing
5) It take 300 sec to complete task after that hold power key for 15 sec to boot your device​

cant get ota update
hi, i flashed as mention above but now the problem is that i cant get ota update to zui 2.0.133 and android 7.0

phone is bootloader unlocked and rooted, is there any other steps i need to do before flashing back to the original firmware ? or just go ahead and follow instruction on the OP ?

same problem here, I am going to flash using qfil and will update here.

Please don't use Mi flash tool, it was not properly flashing.Use qfil for proper flashing.

Flash stock room again with qfil and after that you will definitely get ota updates.

yeah I flashed 2.5 104 ST and now its working fine

I flash rom using QFIL but it still shows me "system has been root" in System Update app
I flash rom with "unlock" the bootloader as well as "relock" bootloader... but i can't able to update.
It's not working....

anyone using the zui 2.0 marshmallow build? What's the SOT.. I'm currently on Chinese zui 3.1, hoping to get back to Indian zui 2.0 because of double notification but the battery life of Chinese zui 3.1 is good as i easily get 7hr 30 to 8hr even with moderate to heavy usage

How do you get that much of SOT i barely got 5.30 hrs max sot
