Hi guys, I have CM13 on my S4 mini, and everything is great! I recently got a magnetic car holder for the phone, similar to this one :

}
As soon as the phone gets close, the S-View lock gets activated (although in CM13 there is no SView, it just locks the phone) which renders the phone unusable.... You unlock it and it immediately gets locked again... I have seen similar threads all around the web, but no actual solution... Some mentioned an Xposed module that deactivated some sensors, but it a no go for latest Android 6..
Isn't there a way to actually disable the sensor, in root dev directory or something like that???? It's really annoying!
Thanks!
Hi @mitsos1os
I'm kinda too late here, but you can flash xposed framework and install this module: http://repo.xposed.info/module/xposed.mjg8.magnetsensorcontrol
This is most basic one, but any other of these modules doesnt work properly sadly. It will disable magnetic sensor and will prevent to lock your phone.

Thank you Aztec for the information. I will try it

I recently upgraded to M8 from old One S and missing "Flip for Speaker" feature a lot. If somebody doesn't know that was a feature in many HTC phones earlier that would turn on speakerphone during call if you flip your phone screen down on the table. Helps a lot during those wait times etc. There is no such thing on M8 and I'm missing it a lot. I thought first that may be they removed it due to the front speakers, but I tested speaker and microphone face down and see absolutely no issue. I tried a separate "UpSoundDown" app, but it doesn't work very well.
Can somebody tell me is there a ROM that has the feature that I'm looking for? Is there a Kernel that can enable it? Where to look for this and where to request it if feature wasn't implemented?

No any input on this?
If anyone interested the best solution I found so far is Auto Speaker app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hanan.android.ramkol&hl=en
It works pretty good , but still I would much prefer "Flip for Speaker" option, because of lower power consumption during those waiting times and due to the way Auto Speaker switch works.
Does anyone know xposed module with such functionality? Where would be a good place to put a rom/xposed request like this?

Finally, we have xposed for nougat, and even better, for miuihttps://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-6/themes/xposed-nougat-t3656649!
obviously the layer of miui on android differs from the stock, but some parts remain intact, make the xposed, useful!
you recommend some module? or any option of them?
for the moment I have active:
All My... (90%works)
App Settings (works)
GravityBox [N] (10%works)
NSFW Gboard (works)
I will read and try to answer any comments or questions!
hello, this amazing, can you give me this xposed.zip?thank you very much
it is so cool.
i have found this file.
also thanks
please forgive my English, itis so bad
How did you get this working on mi6? I can't get xposed to run without disabling resource hooks in settings or it just gets stuck in boot, all versions, all roms.. nothing works, some modules really need that setting.

The last version where xposed is working fully is 7.9.14. After that, it only works when you disable resource hooking. This issue only exists on Snapdragon 835 MIUI devices tough. The only thing you can do is hope and follow this issue thread on GitHub: https://github.com/rovo89/XposedBridge/issues/198
It's basically all in the title. Was on a Lineage previously - nfc worked like charm with magisk, then used Ressurection Remix for a month, same deal - nfc with magisk worked fine. Decided to move to the official stable ROM with MIUI9, and same as with xiaomi.eu firmwares - nfc from the box isn't working at all, which is not surprising since i've got unlocked bootloader, so i installed magisk one more time and got no luck. Can you help me out with this? Is there a way to make NFC great again on the official stable rom?

Have you tested if it works after locking the bootloader?

Not yet, but what i've noticed, is that some banking applications ask me for a permission to use NFC at random moments and today my main app asked exactly that and after that my main card works fine, so i guess nfc is works properly after all
Im interested in buying this phone so while researching about features i noticed two things:
1.
On the official Xiaomi website it doesn't say that the phone have barometer and everywhere else it says it has;
2.
In some videos featuring the camera module it says that the forth empty camera slot is ToF 3D sensor
(I want to know is it only for show or maybe it has some other sensor?)
If someone can test if the phone have both of this features (or doesn't have) it will be greatly appreciated
Thanks and sorry if i wasted your time

As for #1 im not sure. Why would anyone need barometer sensor anyway... But it's possible that it has it
As for #2, it has some chip under that part, so it very well could be that sensor...
Thanks for the answer, upon further research including here i found that there is no barometer sensor, now if only could someone answer what is that sensor under the fourth "camera" hole.
(My dilemma is if should go for this phone or F2 pro)

It's not camera, its light sensor hole.
Hello.
This is my first time using a smartphone, and I'm new to IT as well, so forgive me for being dumb.
I recently got a Nokia G20 (Model number: TA-1336). It has Android 12.
Whenever I "shake" the phone, or just move it a little, the screen turns on. I believe it has something to do with motion sensing, but I couldn't find anything in the settings to turn this feature off.
Please help me.
On another note, is it possible to get rid of the google search bar at the bottom of the home screen? Without disabling the Google app, if possible.
Thanks very much in advance.
If this has been asked before, I'm very sorry for causing trouble.
Thank you very much WilliamMike, your advice fixed the first one!
The search bar, however, I still can't remove. The internet says to either install some NovaLauncher (which I'd prefer not to) or disable the Google app (this could break some features I assume).
Sorry for taking up your time, I appreciate your help!

I tapped on Home settings, and this came up:
Any idea where to go from here?
