Hello,
As explained in title, I am looking for a 3-4 usb hub that supports otg and can charge the Nexus 7 at the same time at full voltage, without drain.
Any ideas? thanks

Yes http://www.ebay.com/itm/201372917160
but I'd prefer http://www.ebay.com/itm/191859127277
You will also need a kernel
What are you trying to accomplish

Otg splitter and hub is so you can power your tablet and any devices that are connected to the hub .. Ex. Joycon , video grabber , dac ...ect
Timurs kernel is the most reliable but you have to donate to get it ... Elemental is free but sometimes has issues with otg/charge bugs upon wake
You need the ability to enable Fast Charging for the kernel.
Simple USB-OTG won't get you full charge speed.
I know Timur's kernel for 2012 model has a Fast Charge option that is probably also available on the 2013.
And ElementalX kernel *might* be getting that option soon too, if not already.

You need to install a kernel for otg and charging ....
Two options
Elemental kernel ....slightly buggy loses charge on boot
Timurs kernel ...works flawless ... But you have to donate ...

So i ordered USB HUB and OTG cable and made this: http://shrani.si/f/3m/Qg/JfkMcsx/20130808144649.jpg
Everything is working fine, just the battery life is short.
So i was wondering if I can connect USB HUB with A-A USB to USB Power Adapter (http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00CefTLRdzJBgP/5W-USB-Power-Adapter-MEU-.jpg) and charge my Nexus 7.
Greetings.

You won't be able to charge the nexus that way - you'd need a custom kernel for that (there's one for original nexus 7).
I'm planning on doing something similar, I'm wonder if a powered USB hub would at least power your USB accessories (I'm going to plug in a DAC and Hard drive).

Not for a few months at the very earliest would be my guess.
They make a otg cable that has a power port on it to power the flash drive so it don't drain your battery. I know amazon has them.

For those interested in making this possible, like it is with the OG nexus 7, Here it is:http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/usb-rom-nexus-7-2013

Hi, anyone buyed an otg cable with male/female micro usb-usb 2.0 to connect external flash drive and keep charging the phone at same time?
I have bought that but only works the usb 2.0, i cant charge the phone. Sorry but i cant post the link of the product, here is a picture of them.
Sry for my english.
Make sure you have a 'charge only' lead to the charger (Shows as 'AC connected' not 'USB Connected') or you'll find you won't have enough power to do everything.

Yes, i tried but i cant charge. I tried with other phone and works but dont have otg support.
The problem with OTG and simultanous charging is that you'll probably need a custom kernel supporting this.
Because if you use OTG (or a data cable respectively), the phone will only charge with 500 mA max. - this might not be enough to charge your phone while using power-consuming apps (navigation, games,...). If you want the phone to charge faster/draw more current, you'll need to short-circuit the data leads - but then you can't use OTG/data. Tricky...

I think that is not the reason because if i try to charge only didn't work, i think the charging cable is not compatible with moto g like some chargers specific for some patents.
If someone knows a cable like that to charge and use usb stick or something compatible with moto g I would appreciate.
The cable is probably working, but the kernel is not supporting it. If you use a USB y-cable, it will power a plugged-in USB stick / device, but not your Moto G. You will need a kernel or tomorrow supporting simultaneous data & charging. Have a look in the Nexus 7 sections, there you'll find more information about this.

Hello i installed a nexus 7 in my car not i really dont want to take out my center console because its a huge Pita. But i realise that i now need an otg. I was runninh sound via bluetooth to my radio but the lag os crazy. I have acces to the the end of my charging cable. I was wondering would adding a usb to usb adapter and a usb hub. Would that be consider a usb otg cable. Would i be able to purchase a usb dac and use it. Also could i charge at the same time. I have absolutely no room to fit a audio jack on my tablet. So usb dac is my only option.

You generally need a kernel installing to do as you have said eg elemental x or timurs. Yes, you can then use a usb otg cable to power and host the usb dac.
I got a cable: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/301291074104?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
It does either charge ("AC charger", not USB) or OTG (tried many USB sticks) but never both. Is that a limitation of Cyanogenmod 12.1 which my phone is running now? I have seen people mentioning that I might want a custom kernel, is that correct? Or the cable is just wrong?

The description on ebay says "The USB Typa-A Male plug is used to provide external power for connected devices (instead of mobile phone or Tablet)", so it's not really a Y-cable, just acts as a usb powered hub. Anyways if it was a y-cable, you would still need a custom kernel that has the ability to OTG+charge at the same time.

Ah, right. Thanks for reading the description for me Thanks! However sometime it does charge the phone.
Any idea if CM12.1 has such a custom kernel?
Hi all, I have the Nexus 5 and wish to connect the TP-LINK TL-WN722N USB Wifi Adaptor but I am having no success, I purchased a Y Cable to connect it to my phone but when i plug it in nothing happens on screen or no light comes on the Wifi Adaptor, I plugged my charging cable into the other end of the Y Cable but it doesn't charge the phone, I thought my cable must be faulty but i've now used 3 more and all with the same outcome. Is there something i need to do to my phone to get this to work? The port on the phone works fine as it connects to my computer and charges perfectly when i just use a normal cable. If you can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

from doin this on my nexus 7 to use nethunter kali with the wifi adaptor i would say you need a rom and kernel that support usb-charge and host. stock android doesnt support wifi adaptors . u can access and use the adaptor in a linux kali but you cant use it in stock android to say browse the web instead of using on-board wifi chip/card.
edit : Also most of the y-cables you can buy from e-bay dont actually route power to the phone/tablet and to the attached device, the power only goes to phone, i had to make my own charge/host usb cable with a soldering iron and heatshrink tubing. this cable charges the phone/tablet and provides steady power to the attached devices (wifi adaptor, mouse,keyboard,hard-drive) the ones i mention previously from e-bay dont provide enough juice to power the adaptor.
You need a custom kernel with module loading, root and your wifi adaptor´s module, altough my WN723N and a cheap old ethernet adaptor worked out of the box(chroma rom with elementalx kernel)
