[P] my galaxy w wont charge

my galaxy w i8150 wont charge he recognaize that the chrger is connected but he wont charge the battery what should i do ?
and what part i need to replace to soulve this problem ?
please help me soon tnx !
usually,, the charging problem starts with the battery itself,,,
do check if your battery is bloated or not..
also check if yur charger is really working,,, maybe its the charger thats not working....
additional info,,(based on my experience)
fully drained battery usually takes a couple of minutes before it starts chaging itself,,
mine got fully drained while playing gta vice city,,
and when i immediately plug the chager,,, the phone shows a battery icon with a yellow warning in the lower left corner of the battery icon,, and not the usual green line that arises to show that its really charging,,
so i waited for at least 3minutes,,,,,
Charge with the phone off.
Or turn off your phone, remove battery, plug in charger, insert battery.
The second one is what I did when I panicked but its the procedure I did anyway.

Solution for battery drain on Tab S 8.4

Hi everyone.
Just to write a solution for the commonly problem on the battery of this tablet; I had the problem that battery ran out almost on 1 or 2 hours! of use after it turned off I turned on again and the gauge showed for example 30% or some cases 40% of battery I was crazy about that and had to do some research; tried to bring the tablet to warranty but they did not could help me (I don't know why) after that I read there were more users having this problem; some of them suggested to bring the tablet to a repair center or open the tablet and do some technical reparation; the solution is pretty simple that it seems to me; my solution was to open the tablet with a spudger (I don't have one so I made one by sanding a piece of plastic) after that just unplugged the battery conector and reconnected it again; rebooted if recovery mode and erased batterystats.bin, turned off and charged until 100%.
At this point I have been using the tablet by 3 days and the gauge seems to show a more precise battery percentage.
Anybody that is having battery problem, and have checked that a app is not causing the battery drain, should try the battery calibration method below, before opening their tab
Try apps like watchdog or an wakelock checker app, also any apps like alarms and weather check apps or any apps that sync the tab can keep the tab from going to sleep.
On my tab s 10.5 i only charge to 70% and never unless i am doing a calibrate drop below 20%, I use my tab for video, ebook and internet.
I use an app like Gsam to sound an alarm at 20% and 70% when charging, and i dont charge to 100% as it can cause cumulative damage to the battery, check the link below for more info on how to care for lithium based battery`s

Below are a few screenshots from my tab s 10.5 , It has been running continuously for 142d without restart and i have a battery life of 3d21h according to Gsam app.

You can calibrate the battery like this before you decide to buy a new one
Fully charge the battery with the phone on and when the phone is fully charged, unplug the charger and turn it off.
When your phone is off, plug it into the charger and let it charge to 100% again. The green LED light will indicate when this is don
Next unplug the charger, turn on your phone and set the option to ensure that your screen doesn’t turn off, if you have this option. Then reconnect to the charger and wait for it to charge again to 100%.
Once charged to 100%, unplug the charger again and do not charge until the smartphone turns itself off after reaching a 0% battery level. Once off, fully charge it again and it should work properly. The screen setting can put back to normal again (meaning turn off after a certain amount of time).
phones with oled displays should not show static images for a long time as it can cause burn-in

I might have to give this a try. Like my battery has no problems with its connectors or anything since I have never had that problem. Recently, every time I charge my device, when it charges up to 97%, it immediately jumps to 100%. Rebooting still shows 100%. So when I turn off the device and charge it while it's off, it shows its at 98%. So I know it's an calibration problem. This only happens when charging up to 97%. So I might need to recalibrate again.

You should not discharge to 0% too often, as it can causes curative damage and the battery could actually fail, you would not want that to happen if you are out of warranty, I rarely discharge below 20%, a couple of % inaccuracy is not a problem really.

I hardly ever discharge to 0%, I usually charge it when it tells me my battery is low (20-15%). Well, I bought this tablet in July so I have reached probably 300+ charge cycles. I read some threads regarding battery skiping and it happens when either it's uncalibrated, or battery is slowly going bad, and something else I forget. But thanks for the tips on the battery stuff! I never knew charing and discharging fully could do such a thing!

I bought my device from Kuwait so it's firmware belong to united Arab of imarats.
At the beginning , I faced some issues with my device such as. After about 3 weeks I found the the battery stay only for 10 minutes even if it charged to 100%
I had to put my device in charge all the time so I can use it.
I send it to repair center and told them that I need to replace my battery.
After one day they call me and told me that it just asoftware problem and we solve it.
I got it from them use it for just 3 days and found anew problem that the home, back and multitask buttons dosen't work very well . That I need to but it on it's back or use the desktop cover to make it work.
In that point I tried another country firmware with kitkat 4.4.2 and that dosent solve anything
And when I found that the lolipop came to galaxy tab s with France and Canada and sanghfore , I installed it
I found that when I connect the wall charger , the device immediately turn off and give me the sign of battery with out any process in charging and dosent want to turn on.
And when the device work , it give me ablack screen when I shake it between my hand or but it on it's back (such like ablack screen flashing)
I don't know what to do.

i have the same problem, the battery decharged fast and my usb port was dammaged so i changed both. after i turned it on again with the new battery and charging port this error occurs. battery temperature too low to charge, also the battery goes from 55% to 0 in 5 mins, i checked every thing a few times now, i unplugged everything and put it back together. each time the battery is "full" again with 54%...53% etc, the second time it went from 54% to 0% also in 5 mins. when i turned it the third time on, after unplugging everything and puitting it back together it had 53% and went down again very fast. and if i try to charge it the error is there. does somebody know what to do?
i have a samsung galaxy s6 edge

T325 Wont charge. (Old/brand New battery, indicator shows charging)

Heya, so i know there are threads about charging and other battery problems, but mine seems to be different.
My tablet was used in car almost always on charger, and after almost 2 years such usage battery was low capacity, and one day i noticed it wont charge at all, after turning on tablet battery 0% and shuting down. Indicator shows charge icon, but wont charge.
So i purchased new battery, installed it, battery was @ 56%, so i ran battery benchmark and played some games, wow those 56% lasted 2x longer than old 100% battery. So after it was below 10% i pluged in charger, indicator shows charging so i left it for some time, and after checking tablet i saw it wont charge ((
Same problem a with old battery... Anyone have ideas? May it be charging port?
Hi,
Did u charge it when on or off? And did u try other charger?
Yes used original, and lg chargers. It doesnt matter the tablet is on or off.
When turned off, and connect: screen go on showing battery, after that battery shows green at the bottom of battery and turns screen off after few sec. Pressing home button shows battery again. But as it dont charge it always shows green at the bottom of battery. When turned on simply battery shows 0 or 1% and turns off after a while.
Anyways, ordered new charging port as they are cheap. Will post outcome
Afraid that can be motherboard fried or somethink as before that happened tablet was ON with gaming bot running for like 24 hours.
Installed new charging port board, but wont help ((

Hi, I picked up my phone from repair shop a week ago and since then when my battery goes below 55% i get message that battery is 0% and phone is shutting down, and then I put it on charger and sometimes it starts recharging from 1% but sometimes from 55% and if i charge it to 60% it works normally, but when i charge it to 100% it turns off on 55%, can someone help me please is it problem in software or maybe it is problem in battery?

It sounds very much like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...ttery-reporting-phone-dying-suddenly-t3095120
I replaced the battery and it's been working well for a few months now.
Battery drop from 50 % to 0 %
I had the same issue.
After force shut down (power + vol-up for 10 sec), the battery went back to normal.

EDIT :
That was a short lifesaver, battery is "fubar".
Guys , maybe there's something wrong with the battery charging in Amami . I have two Z1C, one of which normally charge up to 100 %. But the other charges the battery to 100% only in Stock 4.4.4 ... In all versions of Lollipop (stock or not) battery charges to 82% ... Calibration of the battery does not help. I replaced the battery - no change. I tried another powerful charger by Samsung - without effect. Anybody have an idea what's going on ?
