[Q] m8 Stuck on splash after SuperSu

I got a new HTC One M8 today and I might have messed it up. It is currently stuck on the splash screen "HTC powered by Android" on bootup but I can hit power+volumeDown+voluemUp to get it to reboot and use power+volumeDown to go into hboot.
Current Hboot status:

What I've done:
1) Used the WeakSauce method to unlock bootloader / S-OFF
firewater-soff <dot> com
Boots OK
2) Flashed TWRP recovery v2.7.0.2
Boots OK
3) Flashed SuperSu
Boots OK
No root
4) Tried combination of flashing latest SuperSu v1.99r3, older SuperSu, sideloading vs. installing, and clearing cache
Boot Stuck!!
The logcat I did only had the single message:
"- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -"
So...I might have erased the /system partition or something else horrendous. Would flashing a ROM fix this? I could just install CyanogenMod...
Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: I see that blank "OS-" in the hboot menu...that's not good.
ADB push or adb sideload a custom ROM that works on Verizon edition

If you want to root on MM you have to flash systemless root by chainfire (google that xda thread)
if you want xposed installed. You have to install twrp version 3.0.2-0. And when you get a message to Mount system r/w, dont accept. Then flash version 86 arm64 sdk23 official.
This is what i did. Hope this will help you
PS: unlocking bootloader is the same process as on lollipop

radio-01-01.010_u10305041_08.01.41222_2

HTC M8x (m8_ul) /data partition fails to mount (encrypted and corrupted)

Hi there!
I have this HTC One M8x here. It was encrypted. Now I'm trying to flash a custom ROM (lineage).
When the phone boots and insert a password, it gives me:
The password you entered is correct, but unfortunately, your data is corrupt.
Then it boots into recovery (Philz CWM).
Then I went to the bootloader so I can access fastboot.
Some information on that screen:
Software Status: Modified
***UNLOCKED***
M8_UL PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-3.19.0.0000
RADIO-1.25.21331147A1.06G
OpenDSP-v48.2.2-00564-M8974_FO.1211
OS-
eMMC-boot 2048MB
Jan 10 2015
Then I booted TWRP using:
fastboot boot recovery.img
TWRP teamwin logo comes and it takes too long before TWRP works.
Then I try to mount manually using adb shell:
# mount /data
And it gives me:
mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p47 on /data failed: Invalid argument
Any idea how can I solve this?
Thanks in advance!
I had the same message when I had a different versions of firmware and ROM. Try checking your firmware version and flash a suitable ROM. Don't forget the factory reset steps.
