3 days and not solving my problem

Hi to alll
firstly i want to thx all the admin, mod ,and members for this great forum
iam a new member here, and new with the xda
i got one xda which is always in Test mode
it show 4 colored bars and writtin on it" WALLABY BootLoader V5.17" "GSM OK"
i am reading in this forum but not find anything that can help me
so,can anyone tell how to fix it
best regards
almoudamer
It is in bootloader mode at the moment. Have you tried removing the battery, waiting 30 seconds and then putting the battery back on?
Was the XDA working OK before it went into bootloader mode? Have you tried to flash the ROM recently? If nothing is working have you tried a hard reset?
If none of these work perhaps flashing the ROM might be the only solution.
this is XDA device ... so you can't remove the battery (easily at least ) ... try the hard reset ... if doesn't work then flash your ROM with any WM2003 ROM from the kitchen but I think you will have to apply the patch for bootloader 5.17 first
hi
ths for ur quick reply
i received thre phone in this status
i didn't do anything yet
iam only trying to read at this forum
can u help me how and from where to get the files to flash or patch my device
thx in advance
best regards
hi again
i went to
http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/
and cooked a rom there and downloaded it as exe installer
now iam trying to open it with windows Xp it open black window and disappear
and with windows Me it said that it is not a valid win32 application
so,any help?
I think you are going to have to use the boot loader and an sd card to do this.
down load an .nb1 file and transfer onto an SD card using an SD card reader.
put it in you xda and reboot while holdong down the power button.
That will load a new rom for you.
hi to all
thx for ur replies and help
i think the best is to write the nb1 file to sd card and boot the xda with this sdcard
Now iam trying to write this file with XDArit version1.2 .but i get error
Failed to open device\\.\PhysicalDrive5
and i read in this theard
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=3274
that if XDArit version 1.2 not work, then i should use version 1
and iam searching for version one and cann't find it
anyone can help me to find it or how to write the file to the sd card
Byway,ActiveSync not able to detect the Xda
best regards
go to
www.yorch.net
for version one
Hi to all
finally i success to updade using my sd card

Please help my JasJar is dead

I tried to flash WM 6.1
and then Give me Error and now i have a black screen
any one can help me please!!!!
this would help
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Universal
best of luck..
i tried all of that but not working
What error is it ?
i treid to upgrade to windows 6.1 , while i'm updating gives me error and i tried to restart my mobile but nothing at all even i can not access the bootloader
Is your computer recognizin' your PDA. What happens when you connect it to the USB port ? Also, try after removin' SIM and the SD.
P.S: And you still need to tell me, what error msgs do ya get ?
my computer does not recognize my jasjar
I am so sorry what i remeber it was error code 101 , do you know i think the version that i tried to upgrade was not to universal
that's why this probelme happend.
I presume that you are tryin' to install the ROM designed for Universal
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Uni_Stuck_Bootloader_Serial
try this, or search xda-developers usin' google, you may find the solution.
Error code 101 is actually connection error.
hey, are you usin' Windows Vista
no XP SP2 , but as i told you i think i installed rom not for universal
also my screen is dead nothing at all only black no serial or usb on the screen

Oh man,
you have screwed up your phone big time. Post a thread in General Discussion> Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking. Someone there might b able to help you out on this.
All the best.
i have a similar problem, but it just stucks on 7% of flash and then gives me an Error 112, i think it is the rom, and maybe it can be fixed with an eeprom flash or not? if it can be, can anyone give a how to do it?

hey bro, error 112 actually denotes ROM update error.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Uni_Stuck_Bootloader
follow Method 2 , if it doesn't work, then follow Method 1, mtty may prove useful in this situation.
Good Luck..
thanks !
i havent tried the method 2.. but method 1 doesnt seem to work..
many thanx..
ok that methods doesnt work.. im stucked not in bootloader... i can exit bootloader but the system doesnt start... when i press the reset button it just keeps white screen (w/o backlit) and nothing happens.. if i connect the phone in that state just unrecognizes it and if i press the light and power buttons (without resset) it starts the bootloader.. its not reading the rom
every time that i try to flash a rom on it just fails, and it gets the error 112, on every 7%... how can i fix it?
Oops! I omitted the quote

I have the same problem. I mistakenly flashed the wm6.1 rom meant for BA. I dont think there is any remedy for this problem because the unit is not coming on and so cannot enter bootloader. The only sign of life is the red led which means the unit is not seeing the power supply ie it does not recognise that a battery is instaaled. No one has ever come up with a solution. The unit is bricked fullstop. I am already bidding on another unit on ebay.
i did chat with imate support and they advice me to go to any service center and they will fix it.
i tried many kind of solutions but it does not work so my last choise is to send it to imate service center.

[Q] N7100 deos not start (no Recovery or Download)

I had rooted this my galaxy note 2 N7100 and was using CWM recovery and had tried many roms, the last working rom was Hawkish rom with Perseus Kernel from XDA developers
It was working perfect since first week of June then it started some lagging ang I had to restart it everytime it stops responding
so i decided to try another rom and flashed it with some (I dont remember it right now but i will update this in evening) ROM through sideload
everything went well but device went into bootlop
so i tried to wipe cache as well as user data still it didnt help
so desperately I formatted ext sdcard from the recovery (I did not had ext sdcard in the device)
and then it just went off without any message or anything
it doenst go to recovery or download mode ?? :crying::crying:
also I had replaced the display in January but i dont think its a problem of display since i tried start it up and then connected to PC and when i say adb devices it doesnt show up but I am not sure ?
ok this seems to be an SDS problem suggest you to go trough SDS Threads in this forum see if you could get some info on this ,.

:good:Thank you very much for your reply and I have gone throught the SDS post but i dont think it is SDS problem
I think its something to do with formatting the ext sdcard from recovery as untill then it was working fine
hopefully i can repair it with fixing bootloader but I am not sure how to do that if phone does not start
unfortunately since i have replaced a lacd digitizer i dont have warranty from samsung so for my device i hope its not SDS :fingers-crossed:

I have gone through that manual and I did all I could but still it didn't start up
expect the ANYWAY JIG thing since i didnt find the JIG anywhere online and was not sure how to connect all those cables shown in the picture
so desperately i had given it to repair shop and to my bad luck they dont know what is wrong with it
the only thing they told me is that the board (mother board) doesn't get power and they dont know the reason for that
now coming to repair the partition :
can it be because of partition or because of SDS ?
if its because of partition then at least i have some hopes
otherwise its a dead end
does anyone has any idea what can be the problem?

You can find the link for FTF here. Xperia SL is Xperia S hardware wise, just that it is slightly overclocked. So what ever works with Xperia S will work with Xperia SL and vice versa.

Try rubber band trick once. Google "Xperia S rubber band trick" for it. Else Your last option would be taking it to a mobile shop, there they flash firmware via a different method.
Sorry too late for my post but if someone else have the issue....
If you have delete or do something wrong with your partitions table, you need to know that it is not a problem IF you don't restart the device and IF you have not formatted anything.
So for you it will not work but for other, if you are in the same situation just do that :
- plug device on Wall charger (you need to be sure that the device will never reboot before the end of the procedure)
- delete wrong partitions (wrong start/end cylinders) or any wrong ordered partitions (p1 can't now be p2 for example)
- recreate every partitions with the good start/end cylinders and respect order (I hope that you have at least do a fdisk -l before your changes to have the old partition table values. But if not you can ask on forum and I think (need verification) that every Xperia S have the same partition tables - except for p14, p15 but it is not important)
Once done you will be able to restart the device without issue.
Why ?
Because when you change the partition table, when you delete a partition or create a partition etc... this action just change the MBR of the device (some bytes at the beginning of the sdcard). So NO data are lost (of course if you format a partition after you will lost some data).
So by recreating the partition table before rebooting, you recreate "pointer" to real and still available partitions/contents (again if you have not do any format after your mistake)

Please contact @nageswarswain . It can maybe explain to you what can be done because his device was bricked and now alive (motherboard change if I well remember. No idea about the cost)
If all the partitions are gone then there is no way that we can recover the device..I have tried in many ways like JTAG, dead boot repair but all things failed.then I was the only way I.e. to replace the motherboard. But I suggest all those who bricked by formatting all partitions should try to recover by JTAG. If that fails go for a new motherboard.I bought an old device really cheaply from a boy whose camera was damaged and replaced the motherboard with mine.
But my phone didn't getting on when I press the on button. ..
I deleted all partition on my phone I have no idea what happened. ..then I switch off my phone. ..restart my phone but phone didn't on when I press the on button....and also not connected usb
Brother can u give me link of "jtag" and how to use it. .
