I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 SHV-E210K (The Korean one). I installed Xposed framework on it and notived a significant lag on my device. I tried many ways which were mentioned for S5 <The ro.securestorage.... editing one> but there was no such line in build.prop file. Is there any other way to do this. I have uninstalled it for now...
Also is there a way to get Theme Chooser on S3.

While taking the GlamourS4-rom for a test spin i found this font among the included. It was love at first sight and i decided i just had to share it.
But since i currently am using the SentinelROM i have no way of testing the APK. I have flashed the font on my phone instead.
Using APK-tool to decompile the APK i found the line "<uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="7" android:targetSdkVersion="15" />" in AndroidManifest.xml which i removed. I have no clue how APKs work, but i hope that by removing that line it will work on the 4.1.2-firmware. That line has not shown up in the other FlipFonts i have messed with.
So, please give it a testrun on stockroms. Should it not work like this i will gladly put it through the treatment i have used to make my other fonts.
@Curst works on stock 4.1.2 galaxy s2
I recently just got a brand new ATT Galaxy Note 8.0 from ATT, but I was wondering if there was a way to root the tablet and/or put cyanogenmod or just stock Jellybean on it. This tablet is really awesome, but I can't really stand TouchWIZ and the bloatware that comes with it.

Rooting instructions are here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2430540
As for a custom rom this is not possible at this time on the ATT variant.. it has a locked boot loader and most of the developers did not spend the money to get the ATT version .. also my ATT business rep informed me its EOL so.. in otherwords.. enjoy your paperweight or take it back and demand a refund.

Below are two methods that allow you to gain root access on the AT&T Galaxy Note 8.0. They do not install custom recoveries, which you would need to install any custom ROM.

The first method looks a lot easier! Hope this helps!
I second on saferoot.zip.
You can't go wrong and all you need to do is make sure you have enabled USB Debugging on the device, and have installed Kies or Samsung USB drivers on the laptop or computer.
I recommend Xposed framework and modules for some customization, boot animations can be done to stock ROM but must be done manually, and Premium Wallpaper HD. RootCloak Plus app and Substrate app, don't use the Xposed version. sqlite Database Editor works the best of what I have found, for some database editing. Though it does not add new rows. I changed some added rows by some apps to allow forcing of new data, though it required updating the settings through the app to apply the missing data row that I changed. Example, I moved row 96 to 128 and changed all the data. So the app will insert missing row 96 with its data. I also recommend 360 Security, as it has some features that will keep your device tip top without having to add additional apps.
Surprised safe strap hasn't been ported yet

I found some apps that work very well with the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone. I find theses apps very beneficial to my rooted phone's health and organization.
Titanium Back Up
ES File Explorer
Master Cleaner
- I find that this and the other CM apps, make my phone run like new still.
CM Security
CM Battery
- I found this to be very effective.
WiFi Tether Router
- This does very good with Sprint phones.
Xposed Installer
*- Xblast module is very effective when it comes to customizing your phone's look.
And on a side note. I installed FoxFi on my wife's new S5. And I found it interesting that I never had to debug the usb (which I forgot to do, lol). Very impressed with the S5.
This apps is for which android version???
4.4.2
Hello I just ordered one of these off eBay for $80 in excellent condition but I feel like I should've asked if sketchbook runs smooth enough on here? I know it's old hardware, but still better than Snapdragon 410 in Galaxy A tab. I wanted a small tablet with s pen (Wacom). I don't need it for anything else I have an iPhone 6s and i7 desktop and Skylake i3 laptop
what version JB 4.1.2 or 4.2.2? Hopefully you didn't get 4.4.2.
As of this month I finally got the best ever overall operation in 4.4.2. But it is not anywhere as perfect as 4.1.2 or 4.2.2
If by chance you have KK, you can either root and use a custom kernel or do the S Note fix to correct the spen pixel issue
It is easy to do, but any complain about it being trial and error. Once you get the knack, you'll wonder why you had such a problem in the first place.
I have the app in question along with Layer Paint HD, and Paper Artist. once you align your spen in KK, you won't have any issues with drawing apps.
There are custom ROMs that correct the spen issue but some still need work as they are not 100% fully functional as stock is.
Since I require perfect miracast functions, with minimal bugs with a nice layout. I was forced into manually selecting components from S5, Tab 4 and Note 2 stock ROMs, along with some ported system apps distributed by Devs. Some very few apps are from dead ROMs, where the Dev let rot away.
Yes you can run S5 apps in stock form, just need to root and run Xposed with app settings. Some apps require 320 or so DPI, and others may require 190 or 220. It is a trial and error, but they are stock, and with a build.prop mod, you can update them on Play or Galaxy.
I run the latest versions of Tab 4 version and S5 version of Peel Smart Remotes. As S5 has a better layout.
Some apps like Kids mode need a small tweak with a saved older sub app to run, though the lock screen widget interactions and gator animations are missing.
I run my N5110 as a T330 (Tab 4 8.0) in my build prop, 90% of the time, with out any issues with my apps. The remainder of my usage is in S5 form, as my Chrome Dev browser with Samsung's chrome customization system app, operates a wee better browsing on the Internet. Seems that the updated versions are not so device dependant in the build.prop requirements.
Hello thanks! Sounds good I don't have the device yet. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions. Hopefully it's not 4.4.2 like you said.
Okay sadly it has 4.4.2 Can yuu point me in the direction of the spen fix?
By the way I have SAMSUNG-SGH-I467 sounds like it's hard to root this device?
autocorrect sucks on your thread title...
Smith or smooth? XD

So I received my tab S4 yesterday. great device .
I was just wondering what happened to the Samsung theme store ? I haven't had a Samsung device since the s7 edge. Did they do away with it or have they just left it out of the the tab S4?
Samsung Themes still exist but it's not supported on Tab S4 at least for now. You can try Substratum and Andromeda or Swift Installer from play store. Those are rootless theming engines. It's a bit more complicated at first but giving more flexibility allowing theming individual apps.
