Anyone succeed in enabling Internet via Bluetooth? I know i can setup the wifi tether and I have tasker doing that now on Bluetooth connect... BUT that drains the batteries...
I can connect my tablet to the internet via bluetooth why not my car stereo?

would love this. Android N killed my wifi hotspot..so bluetooth tethering would be great.

I have a TP2 with 6.1. I'm trying to connect with a Archos 101 (Froyo) in bluetooth tether. The devices pair but does not tether.
It has made a DUN profile and I put the same APN of the cell.
Strangely it doesn't let me make a PAN connection but i know other guys used it.
I tried also WMWIfirouter trial but it has the bluetooth option disabled...
The device tethers well on usb port connected to xp.
So what can i do to successfully tether the archos with bluetooth?
My headunit Pumpkim 11 RQ0259E is incompatible with OBD2 bluetooth. I bought one Wifi, but I was without internet, because when the connected Wifi, dongle 3g turn off the internet.
Any idea to have both simultaneously?

I ve Just get a new Mercedes GLC with an Audio 20 Car Radio.
To Connect the Car to internet so I can use The internet radio and others Apps, I have to connect the Car using Bluetooth PAN ( Personal Area Network ) Or DUN (Dial-Up networking).
I have an HTC Ultra with Android 7 .
I Configured well the car to use connect to the phone and I set it up so it can use the internet of my phone.
But
I still have no internet connection.
How can I set up my phone to share my 3G or 4G connection?
Is Bluetooth PAN is enable by default on the android 7 ?

I just installed a isudar px6 head unit on my car with android 10. I want to stop using my phone as a wifi hotspot. Is there any usb modem that works wired via usb?
I know that it's possible to use a MiFi router also, but i would prefer not to transfer my data via wifi.

Just bought this guy.
Am also wondering if any of the modems work as "cell connections" instead of "wifi" connections.
Purpose, I have strong outside wifi signals. When I arrive home I do not want to disconnect from the hotspot wifi to home wifi every time i arrive to receive updates and stuff. Would prefer the modem to work as a modem not hotspot.

Is it possible to have this working on the S10e running LOS 19.1? I can see the WiFi dongle in my WiFi list and also the Bluetooth connection. It keeps trying to make the connection every minute or so but can't. My VPN is also disabled for this just in case. I can get connected using USB but not wirelessly. Thanks...
