[Q] Problem with phone already activated on VERIZON INC2

Dear All
first of all, sorry for my bad language.
my problem started when i purchased an used Inc2 from swappa, i am expert in flashing ROMs for HTC phones.
when i got the phone, i s-off, installed recovery and installed custom ROM supports GSM, as i am living outside USA, and everything was good (GSM and data)
one day, suddenly the phone was not able to get a H data, only E, so i decided to factory reset to solve the problem, i return to stock ROM using RUU, then when i turn it on for the first time i discovered that its still connected to verizon Network and gave me a roaming signal, i know nothing about verizon network or how to disconnect my phone from their service.
don't tell me to contact the original owner, because i purchased this phone more than one year ago and i totally forgot from whom i toke it.
THE MAIN PROBLEM NOW, every time i insert my local SIM, the phone switch from roaming mode (CMDA) to global mode (GSM), which is OK, but when i receive or make a call, it restarts automatically !!!!
i had tried all the ROM, RUU, radios in the development section, with no hope, so, i think the problem is occur from the conflict between CMDA signal an GSM signal!!!???!! or something else, so i guess the first thing i have to do is disconnect the verizon service, BUT HOW?? somebody please help me

Can you post your phone's settings, mainly the ones under "About Phone" including kernel, mobile network type, service state & software information, etc.?
With a local Sim card, it is possible that you device would boot up & switch to Global Mode (by default) with preference for CDMA, but you should be able to manually change it & semi-lock it to GSM only? What happens when you tried that?
There is a # of GSM only Rom that you can flash, assuming you've rooted it again & maintained S-Off with a custom recovery re-installed - and, that it was properly Sim unlocked.

Im on GSM with chilly's beanstalk 1.30 (4.2.2) and I have no problems, check if a wipe with antivenomSDW, helps.

[SOLVED] Can't get 4G/LTE after restoring

Hey all. I'm currently running a D855V (Australian model) rooted on stock Android 4.4.2.
So I recently upgraded to Lollipop but couldn't use it fully due to issues with some other software of mine. So I used the KDZ method to flash back to 10E. Since then I've lost all 4G/LTE on my phone.
I've tried changing the networking mode inside the mobile network settings from GSM/WCDMA to GSM/WCDMA/LTE but once selected my entire mobile network will drop. From there it will regain network connectivity for about 10 seconds (minus any data connection) and then drop off again, showing no network. It will continue to do this until I change the network type back to GSM/WCDMA or reboot (which defaults the connectivity method back to GSM/WCDMA anyway). I tried flashing the 10C firmware too (for Australia) but this will do the exact same thing.
I've also tried changing the LTE RAT settings inside the hidden menu to GSM/WCDMA/LTE and it still won't connect. It will drop the network like the previous method but will then reconnect only with a HSDPA connection rather than 4G/LTE.
I've checked the SIM card in another phone and it works fine with 4G/LTE. I've also checked my IMEI and it shows that I do have one so I can rule that out. Right now I"m at a loss. I'm thinking I need to flash a new radio or baseband but I can't find any info about that from any of the other threads I've read.
Any info at this stage would be great as it sucks having the 2nd best 4G speeds in the world and not being able to use them.

EDIT: Resolved it by flashing KK modem/baseband. Thanks to JDr0iD for the suggestion. Turns out the KK and LP basebands are done differently. Hey mate. Do you think modem is still linked to lollipop? Try another modem or restore EFS to see if makes a difference

LG G4 H815 Emergency calls only after Marshmallow update

Hi
After the Marshmallow update cellular network isn't working anymore. I've tried different KDZ images, but with most of them I don't even get signal bars.
Only with the 20f version I got the signal bars back. But still only emergency calls.
Also tried the Android 5.1 KDZ, but no luck... Tested it with 2 different sim cards (different providers).
The simcard it self is recognized (the phone ask for my pincode)
I'm out of ideas..

No, the hard lock was triggerd because of a bug in the update. I had to send it to LG repairs.

Maybe a kernel issue check whether u have stock kernal or a custom kernal or do u get full signal 4g on lollipop ?

same problem's here, on 5.1 no problems on signal but now emergency call only
but the phone still can search a network but cannot locked a network
wifi still function

Lg g4 h812 network and data problem

I own lg g4 h812 Canadian version
I bought it from canada and without using a Canadian sim brought it back to India. Here's the problem.
Indian sims like idea airtel vodafine or bsnl they work sometimes i can even make a call sometimes but i don't know how but the phone starts showing emergency calls only even when there is network. The data lte/3g/gprs doesn't work at all. Even the default apn doesn't appear.
So is this a hardware problem
If the sim was Locked then Indian sims should not work at all but i can make calls if i restart the phone.

LG H812 data and calling issue
bro it is all because of incompitable lte and wcdma bands. lg g4 canadian version has different bands that not works with indian service providers

Access the hidden menu on your phone by entering the following on your phone keypad:
*#546368#*812#
then go to Field Test > Modem Settings > LTE Band Selection and select the bands appropriate to your network carrier to see if they're OK or they Fail. Then, still in Modem Settings, scroll down to Network Mode and do the same.
If no help there, your choices are to:
- In Settings > Mobile Data, click on the 3 dots on the right of the top menu bar and select Mobile Networks - Network Mode and select your preferred Network mode. Then below there go to Access point names and touch the 3 dots on the right of the top menu bar there and enter the New APN settings for the network carrier you're using now.
- if no success there, wipe your modemst1 and modemst2 and reboot - can solve some modem problems.
- if still nothing - flash an appropriate KDZ (good site for the H812 KDZ's - https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h812-firmwares/ ) for your phone model (if your carrier there has VOLTE support for the LG G4, try a Rogers/Fido KDZ), with LGUP-NEW.

Not yet I have not tried to kdz yet and the phone belongs to my cousin I will try flashing different kdz

LG G3 D851 shows full bar signals but no service

Hey guys i'm having some problems with my lg g3 d851, since the screen of my beloved lg g2 died after 2 years and a half, my friend gave me his lg g3 to use it as a tablet since the phone doesnt recognize any signal at all, right now is running the stock rom for android marshmallow, everything works fine except for the signal that either always keeps in "no service", i already try to put another sim card on the phone and its showing the same problem, already checked the IMEI on the swappa blacklist and everything is okay, here are a few screenshots, any thoughts on how to solve this problem would be very appreciated thank you!

hi thanks for replying, yeah i already modified the APN settings under mobile networks with the APN of my carrier that is IUSACELL (AT&T México) and is still showing the same problem "no service" or "searching"

I had the same problem, try installing another modem, or send me an pm, I have the same mobile company (right now I'm having some problems with the at&t mexico)

I am having a similar problem with my d851 30g. It isvnot rooted and running stock android 6.0 tmobile rom. I am with movistar (mexico) it will have signal and be on the network and then eject the sim saying invalid then reset. Did factory reset. Movistar sim worked for about an hour and then same thing. Have a s from telcel switched and no problem till this Morning. Did the same thing and restarted. Recognized the sim and all fine. I am new to this and could use a little help. As it is connecting with the other sim and not my movistar sim. Possible software issue or corrupted sim?
