Take my advice bro..............Symbian hasn't reached the calibre of android till know. So it would be better not to have it now.
Why do you wish to ditch Android?
And anyways, what's the point in buying HTC if you need Symbain in it :/ Might as well go for Nokia phones :|
Guys,
I know there are many posts like this, but to be clear some of those who prefer to stick to desire rather than one x are hoping for sense 4 including me. Unfortunately shaky discontinued his work and no one is interested so I speak for those sense 4 fanatics that we hope this project is continued again, no ETAs no nagging.

Good luck on this. Just on the other thread I saw someone pleading for Sense 4 like his entire life is depending on it.

I guess some things are too much of a trouble for the devs, think audio was the main issue apart from other stuff of course. And yeah, let it go dude there are already decent ICS roms out there if u want ICS... Btw if you plan on investing in a decent budget phone with Sense 4 I would suggest the One V - bought it for my girlfriend a few months ago and she loves it! And to be quite honest it simply delivers - it is very smooth and fluid, you get the whole sense 4 experience with a very few corners cut, being a few animations here and there and the helicopter view.
I think we can port desire V rom to desire, the spec of desire v is similar than desire
Yes it was a suicide. It didn't find the sense of life.

If you keep saying that, you'll never port sense 4.

Well, you know - at the end it is your decision.
But - just for your information - I came from DHD ( let`s say a "brother"of Incredible S) and I am very satisfy from my new One X.
Of course there are some disadvantages - eg. locked system end such, but I believe that sooner or latter we will have fully unlocked device and we will use it as we want.
So, in summary - my advice is: GO FOR IT!
Regards.
When i bought my One X I thought it was the best phone in the market but now I would say I'd rather go with Nexus 4

Just buy it and install Android Revolution HD rom - the most popular rom for HTC ONE X. Link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562603

Hi there, I think you should keep your incredible s and your hard earned cash. Buying a new phone will mot make you a better person or make you any happier.
You can't help it though....your gonna get one!
Now I would prefer nexus 4, because it is little bit better and much cheaper... Google kills with price

Ya you should buy it.. totally worth it and got some great looking roms.. I'm using ARHD and it rocks \\m//. Lots of custom kernel and mods.
Probably if you want a One X you should get a One X+ at this time.

So I got new phone. I will probably sell my WFS. Just wanna to say that WFS forum is the best one, over whole XDA. Thanks all you guys for answering my questions, helping me, using Speed Droid. At this forum I started a long way of Android dev, made my first ROM and learnt a lot.
I'm still continue working on Speed Droid ROM, so I need brave testers.
P.S. My new phone is Nexus 4 and it's awesome. It feels huge after WFS and I like it
I agree with you about the best section on xda. I recently switched to the one v and have yet to make new friends
edit: and there was so much dev work going on for this phone. I think we all learned a lot from it.

Thank you edik! Speed Droid is great, and I hope you enjoy your Nexus 4.
Take care and best of luck!
