Hey,
Is it somehow possible to activate System UI Tuner in Stock ROM?
I saw some Custom ROMs have it enabled but I want to use it with Stock ROM.
Thanks.
Press and hold the settings button in the notification header.

It's not working on HTC devices.
Only some custom ROMs activated it somehow.

A user has to edit the systemui.apk in order to enable System UI Tuner.
This takes decompiling the apk, editing and recompiling. The custom ROMs that have it enabled, dev's have simply edited the apk and any necessary frameworks.
This isn't something you can do yourself unless you're familiar with recompiling apk's and editing smali etc.

We, thanks for this answer.
I just want System UI Tuner for hiding icons in status bar.
Do you know any other way how I can hide them?
Last time I recompiled .apks was on M7 release

Sure do.
Install Xposed and GravityBox.
Fortunately Sense8 is really close to AOSP/stock so many (not all) of the features/mods work. I've cleaned up my quicksettings (instead of using System Tuner) and made a few changes to my statusbar with GravityBox.

I just installed the mod without setting anything. Is it because of jkay framework?

Works for me also with jkay.
Too bad Google Play looks at the build.prop (?) to check what DPI the phone has.
It would have been great if this app and framework had fixed the incomptability problem for us with a lower DPI by just being able to change the DPI of Play.
Nice though to be able to change the DPI of Contacts and the other apps that don't scale well with a lower DPI!
Thanks!

Yup. Lots of mods, in particular, blinkfeed removal and volume notification unlink. Love the custom batteries, everything.
I'm using gravity box to get the AOSP recent apps menu with a clear all button as well as the circlemod battery from Cyanogenmod that is accurate down to the charging animation.

The modules I'm currently using with XPosed Installer:
BootManager
Greenify (Donate Version)
XPrivacy
XVolume30
I'd recommend each to anyone, though the more detailed level of privacy customizations for XPrivacy may not be for all. There are other great modules out there, but I have other apps that fulfill some of the same features of the modules available that I like, so I have no need to install them. Good luck!

i've been able to reverse out changes, but you should always create a backup.
I got it for the icon changer, works great and looks awesome with aviate launcher. I also have a couple other modules, no issues so far
what has y'alls mileage been with gravity box on sense. from a review i read of this module, it a) has crazy customizations and b) should only be used with vanilla roms.
Hello everyone,
I would like to know how is it possible to add a software key down of the screen of my phone? Not personalize, but add a soft key for turn the screen off like on the capture attached.
I know that the ROM used on this screen capture is Flash Liquid Smooth, but I want to keep my Sense UI!
Thanks in advance
Nobody knows?
I think it can be done with xposed modules, I recall a video on youtube that discussed it. Might want to search on youtube for it.
I'm at work now so I can't do the searching on youtube(Damn filters) . If I recall correctly, I think it might have been Armando Ferreira that discussed it, though I'm not 100% sure.
Yes, I've already seen this, it's that kind of module that I need, but this one (Xposed GEL) doesn't match at my needs because it's for the stock launcher and it replaces the back button while I would like to add a button!

Does anyone know if HTC 10 has the hidden system UI tuner quick toggles customization just like in Nexus marshmallow devices? Cause since they resorted with a stock notification grab, much like stock Android, does it have that or was it disabled by HTC so no quick toggles customization?

most likely will be removed by htc, but can be easily re-added with a mod

You'll gonna have to root your HTC 10 and install Xposed framework and the latest Sense toolbox once the one that is compatible for the 10 is out. But for some people doesn't like to root their phone. But if you do decide to, just keep in mind that unlocking the bootloader is covered by the warranty which is a good thing for modders.
