[Q] i want to root my xperia M C1904 4.1.2

I want to root my xperia M c19004, 4.1.2, but i have some confusion.
what is usb drivers?? and do i need this?

Try framaroot1.6.1 apk with Gandalf exploit.

do you have any link about full root

There are 2 options
1: use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2457174 some people seem to have difficulty with this some manage to root sone don't
2: Try Vroot for PC. It's Chinese but works aswell installs Chinese superuser app but can be replaced by downloading a different superuser app setting the root privileges for it the using a root app uninstaller to uninstall the chinese one

Download Framaroot 1.6 and just click on gandalf exploiter ... your phone may hung on while and reboots ... then the root access is available to your phone may this help U :good::good::good:

Now question - on which firmware (customisation) is patch based?
I'm asking because if it's on FR there will be some files from that ROM that I don't have on mine (NUT)
Could that be a problem?

TWRP can't mount system and doesn't install, Phil - don't know why but same thing...
And I can't go to CWM - I tried with a million things and can't go to CWM...?!
NUT app can't open cwm too - just opens twrp

Just won't restart to CWM...
Even if I manually change prop file...
It changes back to Phils recovery...

@funky0308 not sure why u cant get into recovery m using NUT 6.0.4.7 recovery...I can even mount system. How i came 4.4 by downgrading to .534 rooted installed nut recovery and did a fresh install of the 4.4 zip and installed the stripped kernal provided and also I installed the xposed framework the 2.5 beta though i have not installed any module expect unicon to apply themes n its workin fine.........
by the way can i use this deodex patch on c6902???

Works well for me.
If you are interested how i did it:
1. flash C6903_14.3.A.0.681_Generic_Global-1277-2880_R5C.ftf with flashtool - Generic_Global cust, no FR!!! French gives me problems with the camera
2. fastboot Advanced stock kernel v02 from @DooMLoRD - thanks mate!
3. Apply deodex patch from this thread, thanks @krabappel2548
4. Apply "Reverting KitKat SD card changes" mod, thanks @MohammadAG
Overheating issues are not related to Doom's kernel, this one is Sony's issue!

Pardon me guys if I seem to be derailing this thread. I need some advice now, because my phone is stuck in a bootloop right at the Sony logo.
I was on .136 rooted and deodexed with Nut's ROM, Locked Bootloader. I updated to KitKat using Nut's ROM last night, found that I didn't like it and tried to use TWRP to restore one of my .136 backups. It said restore failed, so I rebooted to system. Unfortunately it is stuck at the Sony logo before it normally vibrates which then you can enter TWRP by pressing the volume down button.
What can I do?

Flash a stock 4.2 FTF, root, install recovery, flash [NUT]s 4.3 rom with XDualRecovery then restore your backup

Bro you dont need this. Just enable the super user mod in the serajr xperia xposed module and you're good to go.

hi thanks bro. I was trying superusermod so that timeshift video and 4k video mods from z2 will start work on xmd. but even after serajr superusermod they are not working.

Lol, u mad bro? They those addons dont work on the xperia m. The camera is just not powerful enough, especially for 4k video.

Stock firmwares are ones that you get with your phone without any modifications. By that, i mean, like you haven't installed any roms or anything like that. As far as i remember, u have a locked bootloader, right? So you already have stock firmware, and you can use serajr xperia xposed module.

You will need app Serajr Xperia Xposed, but first of all you must install xposed framework first and install serajr xperia xposed, after that open that app and select system menu and enable superuser mod, after that reboot your phone and your superuser mod is enable succesfuly bro

Get Xposed Installer and download Xperia Xposed by serajr and go to System in Xperia Xposed and tick Super User Mod.
