App: Rom Manager - works in Xperia S ?

Please, this app: "ROM MANAGER" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager - works in Xperia S with Root Only ?
Or need kernel CWM too ?

Yes it work but need doom kernel if you want to install zip files directly.

with no fear to brick my phone when backup or installing zip ?

its just a rom manager, you will brick your phone if u installed incorrect zip for your phone

Hello all,
I have started a new project to provide miui to those XPERIA devices which are not supported by miui team.
This ROM will be as light as possible(Perfect miui)

The currently supported devices are:
Xperia J
Xperia Acro S

Currently i am providing ported 3.3.29 beta test builds from Xperia Arc S.
Need some feedbacks about bugs and the performance of the rom so that i can fix in upcoming versions !
Also I need a tester who can test ROM before release PM me if anyone can

How to Install:
-First of all you need a unlocked bootloader as miui is based on cyannogenmod
-If you have CWM then :
*Wipe data
*Wipe cache
*Go to advanced - Wipe Dalvik cache
*Mounts and Storage - Format system
*Flash the Rom.zip
-If you don't have CWM then:
# Open rom.zip flash the boot.img in it using fastboot
#Reboot phone and violet light will blink for 3" in that you should press vol up(+) and you will enter CWM mode
Then follow the above ' * ' part for installing zip

Yo mates.. i tested ur rom but cant event get to bootlogo...i flashed the boot.img and restart the phone .....i found out the purple led goes out then no light on the screen comes out....i guess u have a problem with ur kernel...

Dude, did you try with other fxp kernal or custom kernal that in the paranoid thread?
Anxious to try but wanna see other feedback first

[Q] Xperia ZL - does not reboot after upgrade to Android 4.2

Hi -
I read a lot of threads on how to upgrade the Xperia ZL to Android 4.2.x prior to posting this. My phone is now "rooted" and has the "ClockWorkMod" recovery properly installed. I would say all the procedure about the upgrade was carefully followed!
The problem is the final step, the Xperia ZL does not reboot at all. The process say it should take five to 15 minutes for the first boot, in fact I left the phone overnight at this stage but nothing happened.
Many procedure tried with the same result and I always end up restoring the phone from back up to the original version.
Here are some info if it helps:
Xperia ZL - Model C6502
Android v - 4.1.2
Build Number 10.1.A.1.434
ClockWorkMod v6.0.3.0
Flashtool v0.9.11.0 - used for rooting​
I would really apreciate if you can help me flash the Android v4.2

There's is no 4.2.2 upgrade for ZL

R u trying to install CM10.1? Do ur bootloader unlock already?

Yes the bootloader is unlocked.
Tried the PACMan rom, also the CyanogenMod 10.1 (CM10.1) RC5 ROM

please upload ftf files somewhere else.. there is nothing at dropbox and the other one files are not properly extracting .. don't tell me to redownload .. i tried twice..

my mobile is T2 ultra dual D5322 no root in stock 5.1.1 than downgard to 4.2 than root success and i flash FTF file 5.0.2 than root is not and recovery stock and custom not what i do next please help me gues please my English is low level please understand and answer me fast thank you...

just install 5.1.1 stock and download kingroot download from here
then u will get root
if if u want super su your phone then tell me

What you should of done is whilst still on rooted KK with recovery is just make a pre-rooted zip with prf-creator wipe clean in recovery then flash pre-rooted zip hey presto rooted 5.1 note though that xposed will not work on stock 5.1 on M2,t2u and c3 so you'll need to use either gauravs deodexed z2 port for the t2u or the decepticon rom(think this uses gauravs deodexed z1c port as it's base) and if you must use kingroot you must change the kinguser app for supersu as kinguser does not give the same root access permissions as supersu does.

After rooting your device with king intall ndr dual recovery then get latest super su.zip then install it.. And enjoy

Kingroot se root maro to recovery install nahi hoti he ye to problem hai bhai

I have D5322 and I have used these steps only..
While installing recovery u should enable debugging mode also u have to grant root permission while installation... And after rooting u have to restart your phone
