Hi guys please help, i can't do it anything. i tried with Disable HW overlays but is not working.
I tried with wipe cache partition from Recovery Mode, but i cant see the screen in the best way (vertical bands, discoloration)
In my country Asus dont have a Technical services (just for notebook/PC)

Not sure u have this problem. Maybe hardware or software.
If software, try downloading the full 184 firmware and flash in twrp again. The flash supersu, and whatever etc. See if its the same.
If not, try factory reset.

Hi folks,
I did rooted my arc 3 months back and i can still access my super user, yesterday i installed cwm for xperia phones successfully.
I tried to flash 4.0.4_Xperia-S_deodexed-V2.5beats using CWM(previous version stock 2.3.5). I did cleared the cache and all the stuff, but now i cannot boot to OS or CWM or anything, literally i can't use my phone.
It just shows up screen with Sony Ericsson Logo goes no where.
Please help me guys I want to install any custom ROM on my phone please suggest me

You have probably wiped data too which is a factory reset. Run your back up or reflash.

i reflashed an old version 2.3.4 and every thing is working fine, got an OTA update on phone and downloaded the update using wifi and it turned off as the part of update process, thats it and never turned on :crying::crying::crying:
i tried again to flash the same version but never worked!!! what can i do now
Flash THIS with the flastool and report back.
i tried that just now and it does the same result, after flashing the .ftf file it says to take the cable off and turn it on. It never turns on but when i press the power button it blinks the green LED (donno what it does mean!!)
any ways thanks for your suggestion.
Try THIS instead, if that doesn't work then not sure.

Hi guys, yesterday i flashed a stock image for my galaxy nexus maguro, because i had 1 problem..
But the problem is still here, and now i have another one..
The 1st problem : When i call somebody or i receive a call, the earphone (or however it is called) doesn't work, the mic not work too, but this happes the most time, and sometimes it works well...
[The 2nd problem : My camera app seems to take pictures, but there is nothing in the gallery... it don't even save the photo in the memory..] <---- SOLVED BY WIPING THE INTERNAL STORAGE !!
For both problems, they happen on any rom...
Actually i'm on Vanir Rom..
Please guys help me :/

I solved my 2nd problem by my self, i don't know why, but my internal storage was locked, i was't able toi write anything on it.. i just wiped it throught the twrp recovery, but still the 1st problem is still here... and it's really anyoning.. :/

might be a hardware issue; still, have you tried flashing another baseband, just to see if it changes anything? and please, don't ask me on how to flash a baseband, plenty of guides around here (hint: stickies, general and q&a forums)

Okay thx, i'll take a look at it, but now i'm going to try the baseband thing.
I don't know how it died but not working at all. I try flash ftf, open service menu and testing FlashLED. Not responding :crying: Also try Cm11 and Torch app, again not responding. Probably dead and my phone going to service. So sad

have you ever wipe data or something bad happen to your phone? just try to format before, but i think have you flash the ftf. file with the right type for your phone or your region? because i have same problem like you but i'm not in flash LED, i in the processor sometime my processor it's don't work correctly. So i flash with my region ftf file and i do wipe data. and that's all i think

It is stock phone I did not do anything to it
i have done a factory reset did not help works a bit then stops
it has the latest upadates and done by the phone it self
If that's the case (no root, u did nothing and even factory reset), suggest u monitor awhile more. If really remains the same, go to service center.
Cannot help much. sorry

Hello XDA, this is my first post, this comunity is awesome and helped me a lot for a couple of years now.
there always seems to be a solution to everything!
but now i realy ****ed up. i accidentaly checked the wrong thing on the so called "smart phone flash tool"
i klicked firmware upgrade instead of download only.
is there any way so rescue my phone? thank you very much in advance! :crying:

I'd better let someone more qualified answer your query but I'm pretty sure your situation can be recovered easily. What happens if you try to reflash the firmware again with the correct settings? These phones are pretty hard to brick!

there probably is SOME way to fix it, i am sure, but the phone does not even boot into recovery.
Mediatek phones are hard to brick, haha
It is PROBABLY going to give a headache in order to find the needed files, flash the stuff again and etc using the proper way, but PROBABLY your phone will relive again. Try rooting and installing Eragon after a full wipe, if that option is available.

I was in the same state when I accidentally flashed a the wrong logo.img file. I fixed it by doing a format on flashtool>stock rom>custom recovery>custom rom again!

New problem
OKAY now i got everything working so far. but there is a new real big problem. it has some kind of imei error so it doesnt let me use data on the way
how can this be fixed? i mean, i have the correct imei s right here whith me.

Data is turned on under data usage in settings menu and the APN is correct? What does the error message say and can you make calls/SMS OK?
