Hi, I have a Samsung galaxy note 4 sprint. I currently was on stock 6.0.1 then i flashed cyanogen mod 12.1. at this point i was happy and what not, but i tried turning on wifi and it stuck on "turning wifi on" I tried factory restoring, wiping both cache/dalvich cache, reflashing, updating (only cmremix through settings on mobile data). i also tried flashing cmremix 13 and stock 5.1.1 deodexed rooted and i tried wiping cache factory restore... Anyone know a workaround or a fix for the wifi?
also on cm, when i uninstall an app the phone soft reboots, and if i try to add a lockscreen security it says settings has stopped. i tried going to /data/misc and deleting wifi folder and I tried going to /data/data and deleting the settings folder.
i am using TWRP, i tried with latest and ver 2.8.1.1
any help is appreciated

I was having issues with the stock 6.0.1 baseband(s) myself, try flashing the modem.bin and NON-HLOS.bin from OG5 stock rom.

I have a unique issue. I'm having a problem installing any custom rom on my t999 (tmobile). I have been using a custom rom for over a year. Always used TWRP. Started with Paranoid Android and for the last few months I've been using PAC-Man (nightly) roms. I was having gps lock issues, I decided to upgrade the modem to a leaked UVUEMJC, this fixed the gps lock issue. But after the reboot, I was stuck on bootloader screen. The only way I could get the rom to work was to backup the rom, flash the system and data, and after that, the rom would work until reboot. I did this a few times until it stopped working. My efs was corrupted, IMEI missing, To recover it, I went into download mode, and noticed in red Warranty bit =1. I used odin to flashed a rooted cf 4.3 samsung touchwiz rom (root66_TMO_T999UVUEMJC). All imei/efs issues were fixed. I decided to try installing a custom rom again, PAC-Man rom, it installed just fine, all EFS/IMEI info was intact, but at reboot, I got stuck on the CM bootlogo. This happens everytime. IF I recover a backup, it gets stuck on the boot logo. I'm using TWRP v2.6.3.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Install TWRP 2.6.3.1. Then take a Nandroid.
Next wipe /Data. Then flash your Custom Rom. Wipe Dalvik + Cache after the Flash. Reboot and report.

Upgrading to the newest TWRP did the trick! Everything is working fine now. :good:

Did a clean flash to 8.0 , full reset, and wipe also delvik wipe.....Rom Installed with installer and went to google startup.......Added Wifi info and google info and went through all steps as usual. Error message saying setup stopped working....and a message saying light engine not working. All of the rom booted to my knowledge but the homescreens were not working or visible and the app icons were not showing as well......Any ideas? tried it twice with the same result, I'm also using the MK3 Modem
I did a system reset/wipe......and I'm using clockwork as a recovery

I would suggest starting fresh. Download the Rom again. Verify the MD5 checksum. Make sure you download via WiFi, or hardline. Do a Full wipe : System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cahce, Factory Reset. I personally would also wipe Internal Storage, but that's up to you. Flash the Rom, and reboot. First boot on MOAR takes a few minutes, have patience. After it boots try to really limit the amount of data you restore.
i ran the moar rom for a while. i flashed it with philz touch it will clean for a rom install, its an option in the menu. hope you dont have an issue with sound. it couldve been a bad download
I am having an issue with apps working after doing a recovery from an AOSP rom. I had flashed c-rom and then went back to my recovery and now I am having an issue with apps not downloading like amazon app store, facebook, and some others. It will just say "ERROR SAVING" or "DOWNLOAD FAILED" Tried uninstalling/reinstall, wiped the cache in the rom, wipe the dalvik cache/CACHE in twrp, and fixing permissions in twrp. NO LUCK :crying: Any ideas besides reflashing the stock rom?
I also found a wicked folder that I can not delete or nething. Put a screen shot.
hey guys i have a problem my wifi and bluetooth wont turn on no matter what i do i have tried different roms, kernels the service menu odin flashable files i have downgraded to 4.0.4 and upgraded to 4.4.2 roms both stock and custom i have wiped data /cache/ delvic cache nothing works was wondering is there a cmd command i can use or something please help!!

My wifi was working fine until I was on Stock rom. Today I formatted my phone and installed SlimKat rom. MY wifi greyed out and its stuck on saying "wifi turning on". Then I cleared the cache and installed Task650's rom and It's still not working and still stuck on "wifi turning on".

Thanks for replying. I'm clearing the cache and formatting the phone through twrp recovery before installing any rom. I even tried clearing the cache after installing the rom.

KT's kernel has outdated wifi modules and won't work with the newer ROMs. Do a clean flash of Task's ROM and you should be good to go. He uses CM's kernel in his package. Can always flash BMS if you prefer the extra options.

I tried everything. Nothing seems to be working. I'm downloading [ROM] TMS3KK 2.3.1 NE4 | TW4.4.2 | (582 mb) [8-19-14] right now. Will let you know whether it works with stock based rom or not.
