I have problem with my Redmi 1s it automatically on when putting battery and then reboot when cyanogenmod logo appear and it continuously so i put off my battery from Redmi 1s.
I am currently on cm11 with stock kernel.
Did you try flashing another rom?? Or is it happening only with cm 11? By the way cm11 ssources had become too old, so kindly update to lp or mm.

If you have twrp recovery then just flash 9.6.2.0 fw less rom
Hi. I have a Redmi Note 5 (pro) Global version. I hate MIUI 10 too and want to roll back to 9.5.19 (which seems less buggy than 9.6.x) . Got the ROM from a great thread from miui dot com which I can't post being new here
The updater app tells me that I can't flash older versions
Recovery mode doesn't even offer flashing ROMs.
I can't unlock the bootloader now (have tried once, now have to wait 360hrs to try again??)
Am I stuck with MIUI 10?
THanks

You can roll back to Miui 9.6.4.0 with no problem from Miui10.
I am in Android 9 miui version. I have uploaded twrp and uploaded some custom rom like havoc, syberia, ... etc. about 10 more but only COSP is working, the rest are error 7 , or flash, but when powering up is booted into fashboot, I would love to use custom rom and this makes me too uncomfortable because I can only use one version.Thank you

What you should try is to flash Oreo miui or firmware, and then install lastest orangeFox. Oreo firmware fixed my error 7 problem. Currently using Bootlegger's rom. Just make sure to not brick your whyred while doing this.
I am running pixel experience (Android 10) on my redmi note 8 (ginkgo).
The problem started recently. I think it has to do something with the audio because I noticed that the restart is triggered when there is a sudden audio spike like a call ringtone or something. Is it a bug?. What can I do now?
What are some of the best stable ROM out there. Any recommendations?

I am not a power user. Just wanted a change from buggy MIUI 10.

I am going to try your recommendation

Clean flash of course and flash DFE to stay decrypted
you can backup app+data (if you are still on PE) with O&backupX (root)
and restore them after if you don't want to config every app ...
@loopypalm Sorry, I didn't get what are you suggesting?
What is PE?
Change ROM, Use RROS (Do you mean, when we take the phone to the service center ask them to replace ROM?)
Please clarify

i mean wipe the official rom and replace it with RRos (you can do everything yourself)
@loopypalm sorry I am little illiterate in android world.
What is RRos?
How can I install it?
Can I install it on Redmi Note 8?
Is this a reversible process just in case something bad happens to the phone?

Yes, you can download the official miui and flash it
Last thing, there are many ROMs available here https://c.mi.com/global/miuidownload/index
Would "Redmi Note 10 Pro" from would work for "Redmi Note 8" ?
What if during the flashing process phone become brick (bricking)?

Those are "Fastboot" Roms
it's better to look for recovery flashable to keep the custom recovery

Even Redmi Note 8T will brick Redmi Note 8 because the firmware is differant
(RN10 will not install)

If you follow the steps carefully it will not brick
(Read the pages 2 times/watch youtube examples to get a clear idea)
I am fed up with this problem and I did not find a solution to it, as the phone freezes for two minutes and I cannot do anything but wait..Does anyone have any solution to this problem please
Give more info
Which variant: 3/32 or 4/64 or 6/128
Which ROM: Custom ROM or Stock ROM
ROM Name: Custom ROM Name or MIUI (If MIUI, specify MIUI Version along with Android Version)

This makes sense, don't worry, you are not alone. MIUI 12.5 is a poorly optimized ROM.
I suggest you unlock the bootloader and flash MIUI 11 Fastboot ROM and lock the bootloader again.

Sadly that is also part of MIUI 12.5, that's the only reason I switched to MIUI 11. For me, MIUI 11 is a good ROM and you can do multi-tasking without any issues (Not at the same level as a custom rom ).

Hi guys
I have a Redmi Note 8 Miui 12.0.2 Indonesia and when i was on Miui 11.0.3 Indonesia I did a factory reset a few months ago and right after the factory reset the battery consumption has increased and before the factory reset the battery had no problems, I changed the ROM twice, once global and once Miui 11.0.3 Indonesia, but it didn't work, someone told me to install miui 12.0.2 and the phone updater had given the update and I updated it and the problem was not solved again. My screen time from 100% to 20% is just 3 and half hours. I don`t know what to do. Once again my battery had no any problems before the factory reset. I don`t know how is this possible to factory reset couse of battery problem. please give me a solution.
Change your battery.

This happened exactly after the factory reset, if the battery had problem, it would have shown itself before the factory reset too. Someone who have RN8 and had battery problem like me and he installed custom rom and problem not solved, he changed his battery but again his problem not solved. somebody have RN8 Pro and he changed his battery too and his screen time was like me.
I have global version. I had some trouble with battery drain (new battery) under miui 12.5 and crdroid 8.10. I tried to roll back to miui 12.0.6 (android 10) and sadly bricked it, so I had to reflash using edl (guide is available on the forum). It took long time but I got it working again with miui 12.0.6 with a much better battery life.
So be prepared before you downgrade, download all the tools and full rom (fastboot) before proceeding.
