I have three separate issues:
1st issue ->
Installed gravity box on the HTC10 unlocked grey, it was first flash with the vzw radios with s-off and root/su. then later it was flashed with the RUU and maintained s-off along with root/su. I installed xposed framework and xposed installer successfully. Then i installed gravity box.
The problem is with the status bar on the home screen of nova launcher. it doesnt show anything(i.e. blank) but i can still access it by pulling it down, however on other screens it is visible and working.
2nd issue ->
There seems to be random restarts because i have to use my pin randomly to unlock the device.
3rd issue ->
When i switch to another installed keyboard the touchpal sense keyboard resets itself as the default keyboard. Sometimes this is immediate and sometimes it is randomly within a minute or while i am typing/texting.
Phone setup:
HTC10 unlocked carbon grey
S-off
Rooted
vzw radios were flashed first

Next i changed and flashed the RUU for verizon
still had S-off

I recently installed Touch of Blue 2.2 on my phone and have a couple of issues.
First, this was my first effort to root a phone. I followed the popular instructions over on Android Forum to unlock, s-off, downgrade to froyo, and root the phone. Also got a new radio -- 2.15.10.12.20. I tried to install cmlusco's Stock 2.3 (rooted) but got Status 7 erros and then installed Touch of Blue instead.
Now after installing Touch of Blue, the notifications under Quick Settings (pull-down) are all telling me I'm low on space, but I don't think I am. For my SD card (under settings->SD & phnoe storage) I have 23.01GB out of 29.71GB available. For internal storage, I have 6.3GB out of 6.45GB available. Sure doesn't seem I'm low on space to me. And I never had any Low on Space issues until I rooted and installed the new ROM.
Also, Location services. I have Google Location services turned on. I don't get that Location Services cross-hairs icon in the top notification area, and the HTC Clock widget can't find my location. I did turn on GPS and Verizon location services for a bit, and that didn't help. However, with just Google Location Services on, I just put The Weather Channel app and Google Maps on the phone and both of those apps could find my location. How do I get the cross-hairs icon and the nice clock widget to know my location?
One more thing - I am getting the notifications for the OTA 4.08.605.19. I don't think I can install that with Touch of Blue. If I somehow got the stock (rooted) 2.3 version to successfully install, would I be able to take the OTA update?
Thanks for any help. I apologize if I've asked dumb questions. As I said, I'm new to all of this...

The stock 4.08.605.15 rom has been fixed, and there is actually a newer version 4.08.605.19 out.
The low on space thing is just a visual glitch, and does NOT mean you are actually low on space.
The gps crosshair has been purpously removed from the rom, but all gps features still work. The clock widget should automaticly find your location. If not you can enter it manually.
No you can not accept the update while rooted, it will not work unless you are 100% stock. TOB will soon be updated to 4.08.605.19, and as i said a stock rooted 4.08.605.19 is already out.
Thanks cmlusco! You are very helpful.
I see TOB has been updated so I'll install that when I get a chance.
The darn clock still doesn't get my location. I can only manually enter the nearest city, which is no help. But I see this is a known issue for the DINC, not TOB. I have deleted and installed the widget several times, and it still doesn't work. Argh.
Hello,
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-N5110, stock JB 4.1.2, TWRP+Root
Since now all worked fine. I have nandroid backup made and even after restoring location still not working.
Few days ago I tried to update to KitKat but didn't like it so I restored to JB again using TWRP as usual. Each time I restored backup all worked fine, now I have location issues. All set up properly, all wiped and nothing.
I don't really know if this is connected to upgrade or not, because I didn't use maps few weeks before update.
I also noticed that after update when i switch to Download Mode for Odin I have Knox Warranty Void not on the screen and downloading mode rus little different. Previously I had just three lines in upper left corner now there are 6 and each partitions is restored or cleared it gives additional lines saying what was cleared or restored. Previously It was just a blue bar running and nothing else appears. Now this!
I thought when I do nandroid restore it will revert everything back but I guess it is not.
Does Knox have anything to do with Location Issues or is it just information that I lost my warranty?
To be precise, any weather widget cannot locate, Google Maps (stock, not updated) have thic compass icon to go back to current location not working, and when i try to save some location settings it crashes and says "Maps app was forced to close".
Web browser finding location, but when opening Maps there should be that blue arrow in place where I am, but it isn't appear anymore. And no messages pop up until I tap compass icon.
All services seem to work bit no location available.
It works fine on my SGS2 running GB
II get a flashing red box in chrome around the border of the screen. Strict mode is not rnabled. Yes I have tried different roms I have tried Xenon ROM and CyanogenMod the newest snapshot. Chrome was working fine until I rebooted in CyanogenMod then it started again. Any help is appreciated.
Edit: I have narrowed it down to xposed framework i disabled all modules and I am enabling them one by one to figure out which one it is.
This problem seems to be related to Gravity Box, however I did not experience this issue until a Chrome update; that is to say, this started happening for some reason after Chrome updated, even though I had not updated xPosed or Gravity Box.
Some additional fixes I've tried (after reading around) are:
1) Disable strict mode in developer setting and reboot (strict mode was not enabled in the first place)
2) Append build.prop with persist.sys.strictmode.visual=0 & persist.sys.strictmode.disable=1
3) Change ro.build.type=userdebug to ro.build.type=user
Still no luck.

Yeah, I ended up disabling a couple of xposed modes because a lot of them cause it, maybe a bug in xposed? I still get the red box too just not constantly only every once in a while.
Here is what I have running in xposed:

Not the most ideal solution, but the problem is solved by reverting to Chrome 44.0.2403.133
Edit: As a side note, this seems to have reversed the lag I've been experiencing the last few day, which I had assumed was related to my current nightly. (Unless I experience specific problems, I usually only update my ROM every few months.)
I have the same problem, did you managed to make it work?
I already tried to add this 2 lines of code in the build.prop:
persist.sys.strictmode.visual=0
persist.sys.strictmode.disable=1
But nothing..
--------------Edit
I changed: ro.build.type=userdebug to ro.build.type=user
And it work fine!!
Today I used the unroot feature in SuperSU because I wanted to use Android pay on my phone. I only had Xposed with root cloak and a vibration tuner. I removed both of them before unrooting and removed Xposed and after I unrooted, my phone started randomly freezing so I factory reset it and got a bunch of apps on it and it froze again. Any ideas what the problem is or where I can go from here? Additional details my phone is unlocked and s-off
try with flashing a RUU
i got my bootloader unlocked, flashed twrp and rooted my phone on the newest update. installed xposed and gravitybox and everything was just fine after around 1 month it turned off and didnt turn on again, it gets black screen after the htc logo, flashed an stock system.img and everything was fine again.
this happened 2 months ago, right now i got the same problem again with xposed installed and gravitybox, my questions is:
could xposed trigger this? or could it also be my sd that is formated as internal storage.
thanks for your help
update!
i may have found the problem. im using gravitybox to use pie and disabled the on screen home button with qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 in my build prop (added as a new line)
it may be the problem. still testing it
I have had no issues with Xposed until I try to tweak or mod framework or System UI files.
My best advice is backup before tweaking.
