Just picked mine up in Riverdale, Ga. I have a question for you guys. When trying to redeem the free ice view case and charger it asks for a receipt number but I don't see anything thing that says receipt number on my paperwork?

If you are near colonial heights,va I know they had some as I picked mine up when they opened
I went to my local store yesterday to ask if they would have any. They mentioned they wouldn't but had received an email that had an excel attachment that listed the stores that did get some. I had to drive 45 minutes down to the Bear Delaware store. She said they have around 20 of them. It was the only one in the DE/PA region that had an allocation.
Go to corp store. Smaller franchises might not. I went to local store in Southern Maryland grabbed mine

Not all of the corporate stores have them. I called a few local "Corporate" ones and they didn't have stock. I spoke with T-Mobile Customer Care and they said since the release says "Participating Stores" it is not a full scale release, at least today.
Anyone know if the bootloader is unlocked?

Doubt it, but idon't know for sure. I'm guessing it is locked but unlockable.

It's the "Trans" number on the top of the receipt.
Got mine at Van Nuys, CA today. Great phone.
Bootloader is unlockable. Just follow jcase's thread on how to root s-off etc. Same as for the international model

I drove an extra 45 minutes to get one
Got mine yesterday, the store I went to had picked up a few from one of the tmobile stores in the local mall (one upstairs and a kiosk on the lower level). Was hoping that the carbon was available , but it's not a deal killer.
Had to drive a little bit, but I found one in VA.
I wasn't driving around. I had the store order it for me. But now I wish I did. Still no shipping notification.

just spoke with mike at my local verizon wireless store in dc. i asked if he had any information on the galaxy nexus and he said that they were supposed to be selling them today, that they had them in the store, but that they are unable to do so because of a system issue with verizon. i asked him about this and he said that the phones are not appearing in the verizon internal system but that they are hoping to have this resolved by this afternoon. i asked him if this meant they would possibly be selling the phones this afternoon and he said that was correct. he took my name and number and said he'd call back if they could sell the phone (apparently, they already have a list of people who have called about the phone). if i get a call and the floodgates open i'll be sure to post.

i don't know. i just have a feeling we're close here. not sure why (especially given how much we've all been burned in the past with this device). it would also be tres bizarre to release a phone without an official announcement from the carrier. vz must really hate this device (prob because it isn't a droid).

Had the note 2 for a week still no ATT/Rogers Rom to get radio working T_T Nothing like a massive MP3 player although playing NFS: Most Wanted at 60FPS is a blast. Will donate for ROM with proper Radio settings for ATT/Rogers phones.

Hawaii? I don't get it. ALL Hawaiian destined phones were to be shipped UPS Ground per ATT corporate policy. Also, all those that paid for overnight shipping were to be sent via the Post Office. Those that requested 2 week delivery were to be sent Overnight FedEx etc, per the well thought out, sharp and intuitive customer-driven VP level executive policy. Why all this confusion?

If your SIM card was already in the phone, that is most likely the reason. They probably did a check to see if it was good or not...
How do you claim your rewards and perks?
The applications are not even preinstalled, zinio , boingo, etc.
There is not a single page or info when you activate the tablet. I have registered the tablet and haven't gotten my samsung or google play credits.
Please help?

Yes today is, but when he posted it wasn't. I'm still having trouble claiming my stuff. The directions said to register your device with their website and then there would be a confirmation e-mail with a promo code inside. I got an e-mail, but there was no promo code.
EDIT:
Just spoke with a samsung rep and they said all the perks haven't been released yet and he couldn't give me details on when it would be released.
I just got an email from Samsung announcing that the new Note 10.1 is here, hopefully that is another good sign for the perks sign up going live soon.

Have you gotten the confirmation e-mail with instructions on how to get the credits with hub and googleplay? all i've gotten so far is a code to buy accessories at 50% if the item is less than $50. Nothing about app store credits...

When I registered the only box I checked at the end was the agreement. I unchecked the one about getting regular e-mails from them.

Remove your battery and look for the Serial behind it, that should work. As far as I know , 4.3 ROM's dont list the serial number

Is it saying the Serial is invalid or some other field is? Are you sure you took the Serial # from behind your battery?

The sn on my Verizon didn't work.....I know why...cause I already registered that with Samsung when I got my phone.....then I switched to T-Mobile and my friend gave me her s3 from at&t....which is a refurb.....so the sticker on the back of the phone got switched out for a refurb sticker and the numbers on the sticker dont work. The sn that is in this phone doesn't look like any other s3 sn.

OK folks, all Samsung is wanting is for users to register their own devices, we are not going to allow users to start discussing the sharing of or other fraudulent actions in order to fool the mother ship of their program awards.
This is nothing more than the "Register for your Galaxy Perks" program, nothing really new other than there are new devices and most users probably never registered to begin with.
If it didn't or doesn't work for you, odds are you have already registered ???

It was happening to me also when I tried from my phone but when I did it from my laptop it works fine so it may be a browser requirement issue or something.
Well I just did my Netflix promo yesterday and it went through just fine. Try to enter your information again...

It's tied to your Netflix account. Should be able to be used anywhere u access ur account.
Yeah I can confirm the Netflix promo can be used on any device. It's basically a 12month credit applied to your account.
Just received mines, cant use it because I have a promotion already applied for my netflix account....Sucks and not sure what to do with it now. Anyone want to trade for some google play gift card or something?
