Had the note 2 for a week still no ATT/Rogers Rom to get radio working T_T Nothing like a massive MP3 player although playing NFS: Most Wanted at 60FPS is a blast. Will donate for ROM with proper Radio settings for ATT/Rogers phones.

Hawaii? I don't get it. ALL Hawaiian destined phones were to be shipped UPS Ground per ATT corporate policy. Also, all those that paid for overnight shipping were to be sent via the Post Office. Those that requested 2 week delivery were to be sent Overnight FedEx etc, per the well thought out, sharp and intuitive customer-driven VP level executive policy. Why all this confusion?

If your SIM card was already in the phone, that is most likely the reason. They probably did a check to see if it was good or not...

just spoke with mike at my local verizon wireless store in dc. i asked if he had any information on the galaxy nexus and he said that they were supposed to be selling them today, that they had them in the store, but that they are unable to do so because of a system issue with verizon. i asked him about this and he said that the phones are not appearing in the verizon internal system but that they are hoping to have this resolved by this afternoon. i asked him if this meant they would possibly be selling the phones this afternoon and he said that was correct. he took my name and number and said he'd call back if they could sell the phone (apparently, they already have a list of people who have called about the phone). if i get a call and the floodgates open i'll be sure to post.

I've bought headphones from them before. They shipped them without notifying me but they are legit. The only complaint I have is not telling me when they were shipped. Have you added your card to your PayPal account? That is what I did.

They go by country for warranty. You need a receipt showing you purchased the phone in that country, as well as an address in that country for Samsung to ship to after repairs. This is why going through Negri or Expansys is a must if you want a warranty.

You won't have a warranty because none of these come from the US. If you want the warranty to be valid still, you have to use a reputable importer that will handle it for you. Samsung won't let you send it in directly from the US.

Yes, i am in the south US, It took about a week to get it. I paid for the DHL 3-5 day I think. I ordered on a Thursday and got it the next Saturday. I would recommend getting it from there. the cost is the same, the delivery time is only a day or so longer but you get the correct part. A few bucks cheaper and a tad faster delivery doesn't mean crap if you can't put a working camera in your phone. FIXEZ.com ended up sending me the wrong part a total of 3 times. The first two were the camera for a I9500, which simply will not work and the third was a I9505 camera but the wrong core. The'tech" I spoke with kept saying he was going to personally pull the part. Witrigs is the way to go

Balls, man! I just spent $70 on a spare battery + charger because I needed them for a vacation trip. And I bought my G3 at the end of August, so I don't qualify for this promo anyway. Oh well - still wouldn't want to wait 6 weeks for the battery + charger to arrive so I'm not too bummed out.

They're not invention new ways and it isn't only carriers. Any product you buy at launch does this. Later down the road, there are always better deals and bundles. You choose to frick yourself by being an early adopter so don't blame a business for your choice.
This isn't in any means a new practice. Don't act so surprised. Just be happy with the product you bought. If you aren't happy, sell it.

As stated before this is an LG promotion. For people who purchased the phone before the date of 9/8/14 you can email LG and see if they will extend it to you. This is what I did and they ask you fill out an excel spread sheet and respond a certain way. I found out it was working for others by using the googles.

If you are near colonial heights,va I know they had some as I picked mine up when they opened
I went to my local store yesterday to ask if they would have any. They mentioned they wouldn't but had received an email that had an excel attachment that listed the stores that did get some. I had to drive 45 minutes down to the Bear Delaware store. She said they have around 20 of them. It was the only one in the DE/PA region that had an allocation.
Go to corp store. Smaller franchises might not. I went to local store in Southern Maryland grabbed mine

It's the "Trans" number on the top of the receipt.
Got mine at Van Nuys, CA today. Great phone.
Bootloader is unlockable. Just follow jcase's thread on how to root s-off etc. Same as for the international model

I drove an extra 45 minutes to get one
Got mine yesterday, the store I went to had picked up a few from one of the tmobile stores in the local mall (one upstairs and a kiosk on the lower level). Was hoping that the carbon was available , but it's not a deal killer.
