Hi member of this excelent forum, Im newbie here my question is how I can boot a dead exca100 and also I need spanish ROM file for recovery again, mates who can help me with this problem?
What are you referring to by dead. Does it not power on cause if it doesn't you can always get a new battery from ebay.

boot mode?
if the hard reset is what you're talking about... I believe you hold down the two "soft keys" while your power on the device.
--The soft keys are the upper most keys to the left and right of the center nav and silver key.

Check this thread for bootloader.
Or are you just on about Hard Reset?
Press the sym button and hold it down. Then while still holding it down plug in a usb cable and the tri colored screen should come up. Now you can load the original rom that the phone came with.

Hey guys
So my friend's got a Note 2 that ran out of charge, plugged in charge, BAM! safe mode :/
rebooted, safe mode.
removed the battery and pressed the power button for about a minute, safe mode.
the volume keys are messed up; like the volume up key works when it's booted into safe mode, but not when it's off to get into recovery. while the volume down button works when it's off to get into the download mode warning, but doesnt work when booted into safe mode.
bottom line : stuck in safe mode, weird volume key mapping. no cover or screen protector.
please help & thanks
EDIT : played with it a little more, now i'm stuck in a bootloop, with no access to recovery nor download mode.

Dude, try holding volume down plus home button (if it has one) for 30 sec. If this doesn't work try holding volume up and home button (only if it has one).

no it doesn't have a home button , and nothing will stop it , what i noticed tho that if i hold vol down and the power button the next time the logo will disappear way faster but only once each hold and ill get a delay of 2 seconds before that logo appearing again and the phone rebooting , its been literally 62 hours since it started doing this , it started with a battery fully charged meaning a 5000ma , about that delay i tried using it but nothing worked , i tried clicking vol up and power button which is supposed to put the phone in recovery mode but nothing happens , i went as far as spamming random buttons to holding them for more than a minute , nothing stops it

Then you hard bricked your device, sorry to tell you that. Take it to a service, and see if they can do anything to it, but you most surely bricked the hell out of your device, up to the point of no return.

If you want to boot into download mode try this:
When you see Samsung logo immediately press volume up + down and while holding connect the phone to PC using Type-C.
A warning screen will appear now press Volume Up button to boot into Download mode.

Download mode not open for me :crying: :crying: :crying:
If you are stuck on Samsung Logo, connect to PC and press Vol Down + Power for 7 seconds. It will go to charge mode. Disconnect from PC and it will power off automatically. After that press Volume Up + Down and connect to PC while holding and you will enter download mode. It will ask for confirmation.
Useful. Works

Thank you for this post. I did this and my phone booted to TWRP. (I was flashing TWRP when I encountered the bootloop)
After booting to TWRP, I did an advanced wipe (I left System unchecked). After the wipe, the phone booted normally.
