It is about your battery, it is dead. If your phone have warranty, send it. Because I suffered this on my old 2 orginal batteries and one bought from amazon. Buy a new an orginal battery or buy an MPJ battery

I dont know the battery you are talking about. But read customer comments before purchase it. Because some batteries cause your problem. Be careful.

To find out which month it was made. If you have the box you will see the numbers i'm talking about.
did you buy second hand or brand new.
Reading your subsequent comments, which battery are you using ?
Is this an original. There are fakes going around.

if its new then the battery in the box should be good. The extras may or may not be.
What month year is printed on the battery ?
See this thread whether it helps to spot anything about battery.

I dont know yet whether your problem is due to battery or the phone..

Hey there.
I couldn't find any old posts on this topic, so I decided to post a new thread.
Ever since I updated to 6.1 (I've tried both roms, and both have this problem. Maybe it's just my phone, which is why I'm asking) my phone will crash while sending e-mails and browsing the internet (an even faster crash when WiFi is on).
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
James

Yeah it is slightly thicker that is why they provide you a new back cover... But it is not much thicker... I would say about 4-5 mm thicker.... which is about a half a cm... not to bad...

Got mine on eBay and recieved it in two days via USPS.
It is a bit bigger now; the battery cover is about the size of the phone so the bottom of your phone where the battery is located is about 2x the size of the stock size.
When I talk in calls or hold the phone my finger usually uses the size difference to grasp the phone in a way.
I like it!

Nice so is your back cover the same as the phone like the same feel, because my friend got one and the back cover was not rubberized rather it was shiny...
Mine is the same OEM style cover. Rubberized and same color. I'll get you the link to the seller's store.

Hello everyone, yesterday, my two months old HTC Desire Z (NL, no simlock, CWM 3.0.0.5, CM7RC2) ran out of battery. When I put my phone back in the charger later at night, the red LED began flashing, 2 flashes (interval about 1sec.) and than no flashing for 2 or 3 sec. and starting over again. it sometimes boots into recovery, but then turns itself of after a couple of seconds. I left it in the charger a full night with no effects, let it "rest" for about 8 hours and put it back, still no success.. Anybody an idea? thanks in advance ;-)!
Did you try a battery pull? Leave it out for about ten minutes.
I was just going to put it back in after half an hour.. will edit if something happens, don't expect it as nothing happened after all the things I already tried
EDIT: goes flashing again, let me try to turn it on.
nope, nothing : (
This may seem a bit obvious, but did you try charging it through your computer? The AC adapter could just be broken.

That's not it, in the computer it doesn't even do the flashy thing. I think it's the battery, i'm going to buy a new one soon, €30 -.-" but since my warranty's gone it's worth the shot. keep coming with ideas please though! : )
Li ion batteries will stop taking a charge if they are over-discharged. Li ion batteries have a safety circuit that is SUPPOSED to prevent over discharge, but they don't always work. I've seen this happen to several folks over on the Touch Pro 2 forums. Charging overnight on the wall charger will sometimes work (USB is not enough). Otherwise you need a special charger/battery tester with a boost function to bring the battery back from the dead. Short of that, you just need to get a new battery.
Its possible you may have some issue besides over-discharge, such as a bad battery. But just in case, in the future it would be advisable to avoid discharging the battery below 20%, or at least 10%, whenever possible. Some here have claimed that newer phones, or perhaps the Android OS itself is better at preventing over-discharge of the battery. But this is the second post I've seen on the Vision forum with this same problem. So my inclination is still to be as cautious as possible with draining the battery too low.
I had this same issue once before, let my battery run out and then it wouldn't charge or turn on, so like stated above, I had a travel wall charger from chichitech and put the battery in that over night and it brought it back.

I've been using the red chichitech 1800mah EVO batteries since October and love them, you just have to peel the red wrapper off and they will fit under the stock door. Plus for the price you get two batteries and a wall travel charger for what one stock battery will cost you, look for Chichitech on Amazon, I got them three days after I placed my order.

There is an Asian Desire Z too. In fact, the Desire Z is so much more widely distributed, I'd dare say the more definitive version is the Desire Z, and the G2 just happens to be T-Mob's variant. But that's just me. They are all Visions in the end, aren't they?

My girlfriends phone has been acting strange. Showing that it is charging when nothing is plugged in, beeping consistently, and instead of shutting down it reboots. We took it in to Sprint and they said it has minor water damage in the bottom half. No insurance so nothing they could do.
It seems like an easy fix if I can find the part. It would be the USB Flex Cable I believe and its only $10ish dollars on ebay.
The problem I'm having is that I cant find the USB Flex Cable for the sph-d710 just ones for the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100.
I emailed the seller of
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321003355943&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
this listing and he said "this should fit". I just want to be sure it is the same cable before I order it.
I cant find any tutorial so I'm just going to follow along with this
youtube.com/watch?v=aChzv3IzxsU
Video.
Any advice or tips on replacing the cable?
Is this the right cable for the job?
Thanks!

Was there any visible sign/ troubleshoot method to figure out it was the battery? Was the battery bulging and would spin?
Her battery is still flat so it doesnt seem like the lithium is leaking or anything.
Just trying to narrow things down before I spend money on a new battery.
Thanks for your quick reply
Edit: Also the water detecting sticker on the battery is still white so it doesnt appear to be water damaged.

You actually could get a battery cheaper off of Amazon than the eBay route your going. But I figured mine was the battery because I had a spare one to test with and as soon as I popped that one I realized it was the OEM battery and was failing with no physical signs other than performance and the fast discharge and random reboots. How old is her battery ?

Check the threads here a lot of people are having issues with the original battery. Seems they are all failing around the same time. But do a search on Amazon and read some reviews before buying a replacement battery but I personaly would recommended the 2 batteries plus wall charger for $20 its awesome you can use one battery while charging the other. Never have a dead phone again. Or just grab an OEM battery for about $5. Do you know any one that has a compatible battery to just test with?
One more thing you got this phone off of Craigslist is it rooted with a custom rom ?

Has anybody personally found a good replacement internal battery that has full, or close to full charge capacity? Before anybody says it, I have replaced phone batteries before and have no issues with the risk and disassembly aspect of replacing the battery. I want to install a new one because my current battery dies so quickly anymore, but everywhere I look I only find ones with terrible user reviews. No I ended up using the slightly-less-than-terrible verizon trade in offer on an s10. I got the plus because of the 4ah battery specifically although im already remember how much samsung's UI's blow compared to regular android... But if I had gotten one I would probably just get one directly from ifixit after reading some of the user feedback. Seems like they are mostly better received than amazon and ebay options.

It's a genuine battery from what I can tell and came in a clear plastic case. It's dated 2019/01/16, so very recent. I'll be installing it tomorrow.

Logos are marked out to do with customs, in many of countries they do not allow the importation of counterfeit products under copyright law, marking out the company logo bypasses this. Obviously if the actual OEM is selling their own batteries then this does not need to be done.
Any updates on battery life? I am looking to buy from the same seller for my Pixel XL.

Sorry for the late reply.
It was defective, it lasted a week before it would no longer hold a charge. It looked genuine, but I didn't want to deal with a replacement, so I ended up getting a refund, and going with ifixit for a replacement battery instead. I'm guessing I just received a lemon, the seller was solid with the refund.
https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Android/Google-Pixel-XL-Replacement-Battery/IF356-005
Expensive at $25, but it's been solid ever since. Holds a charge very well. I purchased the kit, since I can see myself reusing the tools in the future.
It matches the original bloated battery I took out the first time. It seems to be genuine OEM, the HTC logo on the battery is covered up by a black marker which you can remove with alcohol. You can even make it out a bit in their photos.

I guess I will get this one probably, instead of buying the new Pixel 4 XL.. just to see how long it lasts... it still works damn good, and exactly why I chose Google phone over other cheaper contract phones!!
What do you think? any practical reason to get the 4 over a battery upgrade for this one?

Since Google decided to extend support for the OG Pixel/XL with Android 10, they left me little reason to upgrade to 4. They would have to come in at $700 (not going to happen) or less for me to upgrade, or else I'm staying put until next year's 5. There is also the "possible" Pixel 4a/XL to look forward to in 6 months.
I had to buy mine used to replace my OnePlus 5 that had a saltwater accident after 2 years of use. The used eBay pixel XL I bought seemed like it hadn't been used in well over a year based on the software update status. It was also on the beta program so it was probably an enthusiast who bought new and used it a few months and switched to something else throwing it in a drawer. Battery still seems as good as they were new, after months of me using it. Still not as good as the OnePlus 5 and doesn't charge fast but it's still a good phone. Camera is close to as good as anything out there. UI had more lag than the op5 but seems smoother in scrolling and general usage.
Hi,on my pixel XL my USB preferences stopped working and is stuck on charge. After trying different chargers and cables, my phone will only charge using a USB-A to USB-C. When I plug phone into PC, it will only charge, can't change it from charge. I was wondering if someone has had a similar problem. If so, did changing the battery fix this problem or has anyone changed the USB daughter board and that fixed the problem. If anyone knows of a fix for my problem. Thank you.

Does this phone have updates regularly?

I only use my phone for Facebook, Instagram and Messenger, Telegram, I don't use it for gaming, calling, messaging, I already installed several roms and two batteries, I can't get it to spend less.

did you replace your battery from the service center or from a local repair shop? is the battery original? if you replaced the battery recently take it back to the service center I think there are 3 months of warranty on the parts

I buy the batteries through Aliexpress and change them myself, original batteries. Buy this phone have three years ago.
I don't know what to say just buy another one. it might be a faulty battery sent by them batteries go bad over time and if the batteries were also made 3 years ago too then most of them might be bad now just get a new one they are not that expensive
two of my phone battery got swollen in this summer one damaged the display and the other back cover check yours too if the back cover is popping then remove the battery

Ok.thanks for information.
You look only for battery of particular A52s ? That's right , phone is optimized , battery last at least 2 days for moderate use , updates are fast and sometimes with small bugs but immediate reconsiderate by new update . Only 2 defective hardware inconveniences , it has a virtual proximity sensor and also a small fingerprint sensor as well . But you can live with them .
