This does not belong in development.
@osamaxosama
In developer options, you have an option called OEM unlocking. This should be checked.

didn't work
still the same, same msg also
i receive on my phone that download is 100%
and at the botoom of the screen " under flash "
it didn't take me to the bootloader next screen.
Pretty sure the token has to be obtained after OEM unlocking is checked, try a second token.

Activate the OEM unlock, obtain the unlock code.bin after that, make sure that you are using htc_fastboot, not other thing, and (I am not 100% sure, but other members can help) go into download mode, not into bootloader when you flash the unlock code.bin

i did this exactly. but to let you know, i couldn't get the token when on fastboot, but after entering download mode, i was able to get the token.
also, i tried to flash the token on fastboot, but didn't flash, only on download mode i was able to get the token and flash it.
on cmd i still get the same msg, but on my htc screen i see this " attached picture " " download 100% "under flash
ad everytime i press the power button, i see another " under flash " msg.
help please

What happens if you press the power button.. try adb to reboot recovery/bootloader??
solved
i tried on another pc.
the issue seemed to be from th sdk folder.
i tried 15 seconds installer, i knew it was the problem, because it runs from everywhere, i think it doesn't recognize flash commands or the file destination.
thank you all
Is there any possible way to unlock OEM without going to developers option? Why i ask that? because I factory reset my HTC One M9 and im stuck on Google account login and I forgot what gmail i used to it. So i dont have access to my phone's settings to go to developer's setting and unlock the OEM there. And now i tried to unlock my bootloader with the help of Htcdev i follow all the steps until step 5 when I try to put the fastboot oem get_identifier_token i got this message appeared on my cmd
C:\adb>fastboot oem get_identifier_token ...
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/frp
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X00, disable unlock
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] oem unlock Turn Off!
and i tried this commands fastboot erase userdata and fastboot erase frp and this is the result
erasing 'userdata'...
FAILED (remote: Partition userdata erase not supported)
finished. total time: 0.031s
So is there a possible way to unlock oem without going to developer's settings/option? I's still hoping there's a way to fix my phone. btw im S-ON
Hello,
I apologize if I won't be very precise, but I don't know the history of this phone. It's a friend of mine's phone.
i can boot it just in download mode or bootloader. It stucks on the boot animation.
The information, from download mode, is:
Code:
***LOCKED***
htc_himauhl PVT S-ON
LK-1.0.0.0000
RADIO-01.01_U114401011_117.00.611176_2
OpenDSP-20.7.3.00535.8994_1012
OS-4.14.401.7
Nov 26 2016,00:36:11(836547)
I've tried
Code:
fastboot oem get_identifier_token
but I got this error:
Code:
...
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/frp
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X00, disable unlock
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] oem unlock Turn Off!
OKAY [ 0.073s]
finished. total time: 0.073s
because I think the debug mode isn't enabled.
I would want to be able to flash any new firmware, without, if it's possible, flash any Custom ROM.
Is there a way to fix it?
Thank you in advance.
The clue is in the error. Oem unlock isn't enabled. It must be enabled from the os under "settings/developer options/oem unlocking"
It needs to be enabled if you have unlocked or intend to unlock the bootloader.

Thank you.
So, there's no way to set "oem unlock" without accessing the os?

Correct. But you can try to fix the phone by flashing a RUU. Instructions and downloads are located in the ReadMe thread.
Hi all, I have a Tmobile HTC10 arrived from the U.S. with sim lock.
I want to use it with Italian carrier but the software does not recognize any sim or network, so I hoped to put lineageOS.... BUT
I tried to unlock the bootloader (yes, I tap OEM unlocking on the developer options) and when I get the classic command "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" I receive the response
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X01, enable unlock
FAILED (remote: UnlockToken Verify Fail!!)
I also get the same issue with the xtc2tool, that says I can do S-Off only after a bootloader unlock.
Anyone has an idea to solve it?

It doesn't show me that option
You won't be able to unlock your phone this way. Verizon blocks that feature on its phones. You'll need a Java card or an xtc clip.

Thank you, but it is physically? How do I get one?
If I remember correctly, there's a thread about people who own either of them and are willing to help other users getting S-OFF. The thread should be located in the forum that is dedicated to the Verizon M9. (Just in case you didn't know: you're currently in the forum for the international M9.)
