SIM-locked T-Mobile HTC10 bootloader unlocking issue - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

Hi all, I have a Tmobile HTC10 arrived from the U.S. with sim lock.
I want to use it with Italian carrier but the software does not recognize any sim or network, so I hoped to put lineageOS.... BUT
I tried to unlock the bootloader (yes, I tap OEM unlocking on the developer options) and when I get the classic command "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" I receive the response
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X01, enable unlock
FAILED (remote: UnlockToken Verify Fail!!)
I also get the same issue with the xtc2tool, that says I can do S-Off only after a bootloader unlock.
Anyone has an idea to solve it?

M9 Unlock Token Verify Fail?

Not new to the scene here, just getting back into it. My M9 is giving me trouble; I've been through all the threads Google knows about in English and other languages.
** This is a "One M9 Unlocked" GSM phone; not developer version or carrier-specific **
[KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X01, enable unlock - I enabled the bootloader unlock option in developer settings.
Using Download mode, as this is the new correct way. fastboot devices works and get_identifier_token works.
I tried several unlock codes from HTCDev.
Tried rebooting and all combinations of rebooting + getting new code.
Tried HTCDev fastboot.exe and android platform tools fastboot.exe.
Tried cmd and powershell.
Tried different folder locations (desktop and C:\Android)
Note that every time I get_identifier_token, the token is different. I don't remember if that's normal.
I've used HTCDev to unlock many devices, never had problems.
Output of every attempt to flash unlocktoken:
Code:
C:\Android>fastboot.exe flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.016s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
(bootloader) flash unlocktoken
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/frp
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X01, enable unlock
FAILED (remote: UnlockToken Verify Fail!!)
finished. total time: 0.035s
What am I screwing up here?

I am confused. Why are you trying to unlock a phone that is already unlocked?
Thanks for your question: It is the factory carrier unlocked version. It works with any GSM card without needing a carrier unlock code - however, the bootloader is still locked. Whereas it's nice to not be tied to a carrier, I'd also like to get involved with cyanogenmod again.
For whomever else finds themselves in this situation: Good luck, I have no idea what happened.
I tried and retried this process several times. Finally gave up in exasperation and tried later on a different machine because that makes no sense but why not... Here's my winning magic combination (that I already tried, but on a different machine)
Front panel USB port.
Complete HTCDev unlock procedure with caveats:
I used the Google Bootloader Interface driver; HTCSync has never been on this machine.
I used the Google platform tools fastboot application.
Everything else exactly as HTCDev prescribes.
Do this on two totally different machines; it might help to be exasperated the second time. Did literally nothing different... on to the roms now.

Is there any possible way to unlock the OEM?

Is there any possible way to unlock OEM without going to developers option? Why i ask that? because I factory reset my HTC One M9 and im stuck on Google account login and I forgot what gmail i used to it. So i dont have access to my phone's settings to go to developer's setting and unlock the OEM there. And now i tried to unlock my bootloader with the help of Htcdev i follow all the steps until step 5 when I try to put the fastboot oem get_identifier_token i got this message appeared on my cmd
C:\adb>fastboot oem get_identifier_token ...
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/frp
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X00, disable unlock
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] oem unlock Turn Off!
and i tried this commands fastboot erase userdata and fastboot erase frp and this is the result
erasing 'userdata'...
FAILED (remote: Partition userdata erase not supported)
finished. total time: 0.031s
So is there a possible way to unlock oem without going to developer's settings/option? I's still hoping there's a way to fix my phone. btw im S-ON

OEM unlock is switchcing off

Hi guys,
I just bought HTC 10 (EU version, maybe from Vodafone CZ?). Everytime when I want to unlock bootloader, I can't. I have working fastboot with commands, but i cant get identifier token, because it write "FAILED (remote: unknown command)" I think its because OEM unlocking switch is switching off after restart...
//that switch is now on even after restart, still cant get token code
Can you help me please?

Could use some experienced help with HTC phones.....rooting, sim unlock, unlock BL'er

My sister gave me a HTC Desire 530 that use's the T-Mobile network. It has never been unlocked or rooted. I've spent the last 2 hours trying to figure everything out and I haven't been able to do so. Here's my setup and answers to possible questions pertaining my issue:
OS Im operating from: Linux Mint 19 Tara
Location of ADB/Fastboot - /Home/Android/Sdk/platform-tools
https://imgur.com/a/AHPcQf4 <~~~~ Link showing that fastboot devices does show my device
I tried following two or three of the threads I've found around here to unlock the bootloader, root the device, etc. Currently my phone says in HTC download mode:
*** Locked ***
htc_a16ul PVT S-ON
LK-1.0.0.0000
Radio_ xxxxxxxxxx (doesn't actually say xxxxxx)
you know the rest....I know the device isn't unlocked
I've enabled debug mode and checked the oem unlock box too... All of the pre-req's are complete. I just must be missing a key factor in this entire process...
I also tried to unlock the bootloader going through HTCDev.com, however in Terminal (before the start of identifier token) it says: (bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/fry
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0x01, enable unlock
I've tried the command fastboot oem get_identifier_token on enabling oem unlock through debug and disabling oem unlock through debug. Going through HTCdev.com gives me an error too.
I believe if i can unlock the bootloader, flash TWRP, use Sunshine to switch from S-ON to S-OFF then I can switch this use to be T-Mobile device to Cricket Wireless. I can be reached at [email protected], through XDA, through Discord @ [email protected]

Huawei Y5 (DRA-LX3) Unlocking bootloader

Hi, I need some help with unlocking the bootloader of my phone [Huawei Y5 (DRA-LX3)] Please!
So, I am using the adb7fastboot method to unlock the bootloader, there are very limited options to do this process, but I've managed to find what might be the unlocker code for the command:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxx (the unlock code)
Naturally, the warning screen appears on my phone (the one that tells you about erasing all of the data by unlocking the phone), and when I select "Yes" the phone displays an error:
unlock failed... return to fastboot in 3s
And the adb/fastboot window goes something like this:
Code:
...
(bootloader) Start unlock flow
FAILED (remote:
Unlock failed - Err:0x7
)
finished. total time: 6.137s
What do you think? Is there a solution that can save my life? Thanks by the way!
