I ve installed it before a few hours, and it worked.
I d used the install package 'ViPERAudio_5.4_Stock' from 'guitardedhero' and the sony walkman port from 'omikron20'. (googlecrap had to go...)
But I am not that soundfreak.. But you hear the difference.
and after that I ve done a headphonesetup over boomsound menu.

So boomsound is still working, I mean you don't get boomsound is off in the notifications panel?
Sent from my HTC One A9 using XDA Free mobile app
what I can see and hear, yes. but I don 't know if the spectrum is correct.
you can enable disable it over notification.
you can setup your headphones and if you change the setup you hear that the spectrum is more btw less than the other.
but the Walkman app stopped working, for me.
now I have another walkman app from another thread, but I do not know the name right now..
today I wan t Ruu my device cause I came from tmob, and sometimes in appsettings if I wan t stopp a app or something else, it lags a little bit.
I wan t to be sure that I don t have faulty hardware
PS: I ve backuped my build.prob

Hey guys here's a link to ACiD Audio Engine. I've been using this audio engine and the results have been pretty great.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002367
Use the universal installation in aroma and remember if you install walkman don't install any add-ons.
I personally skip the walkman installation and use the noozy add-on.
Please do a nandroid backup before trying and do not install on top of nocturnal's music mod as ACiD's site states any other music mod could cause issues.
Remember not to use music player equalizer as the installed app changes sound system wide.
Also don't forget on first boot let device settle and then reboot.
BTW this has worked on my epic 4g, gs3, touchpad, asus transformer and evo 3d with just about the same results: amazing control over sound with great clarity and bass.
Thanks for viewing and give thanks to the acid forum if you find this useful.
Have u installed this on the lgog? I tried and half way through aroma freezes then I have to soft reset just curious if youve got it running

I do but, I don't run any of the roms on the forum. I am still stock, rooted and unlocked but, I don't run any custom roms. I had noticed I lose lte with the customer roms.
It runs awesome though.

You won't regret it. Remember this changes settings system wide so don't use in app equalizer. Go to the main app of whatever add-on you used. I personally use noozy and the results are great clarity, great equalizer and very adjustable bass.

Remember you can install both options in aroma where it mentions the type of phone you have, including the one with framework. It just has to be the universal options. I did that and it's been great.
Just flashed this over the Lifeless rom and WOW! the bass difference is huge! I used the aroma installer and it worked like a charm! :good::good:

How did you use aroma to flash. This is the first ROM I've used that incorporates it. How do I access the aroma ui? I could find anything in twrp. Thanks!

Good way to get to know Aroma. There are going to be a lot of roms using that to install. Pretty straight-forward stuff.

Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
I don't use the one in the player. I adjust the settings directly from the noozxoide app. Don't use in app equalizers as the effects will be negative.

Got mine to work on WickedV3. Just follow the steps in the OP in that thread. Here's what I did step by step"
Push app to /system/app, then make sure permissions is 644 rw r r. Reboot. Open app, install drivers (grant root), reboot then tweak. If you use PowerAMP, you MAY need to enable MusicFX support: Phone settings>My device>audio/sound>Music Effects>check the app name in the box that shows up; then, PowerAmp settings>audio>advanced, enable MusicFX support. Then go to tone/volume page (where bass, treble, and StereoX settings are) and enable MusicFX, long press the MusicFX toggle to open app and tweak settings directly.

I got it working by installing the .apk as a regular app then installed the drivers.choose A8 Neon. Reboot. Now open up the viper4android fx app and "enable master power",hit menu/driver status and should say "enable : yes" . Now you move the .apk to system/app set permission rw r r. Reboot.
I got it working with Winamp and jet audio. Does not work for me with stock player, playerpro, somehow it disables the drivers...so it may not work on some music apps.

Im on stock TW with Verizon S4, and this mod works perfectly with stock player. My only problem is using this with Google Play Music app. It works intermittently. Seems as tho maybe cached music may have something to do with it? I dont know. Lemme know what you gents think

I host for my G3 and I can't figure it how to disable the shutter sound. Does anyone know how to? I've tried the sounds settungs and camera app.
Secondly how do you remove the SMS character limit? I have the F400S rooted.
Sent from my LG-F400S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I the tried to edit the features.xml file for the character limit but it won't let me save it in EFS. Any ideas?
Edit:
I fixed the sms issue using xposed however I would rather run ART and we can do that yet with xposed. Is there another workaround?

Have you been able to figure out how to disable the camera shutter sound. My model is F400K ( Korean ).
I tried disabling the sounds in system>media>audio>ui but that doesnt work.
Having searched around, the LGCamera.apk needs to be decompiled and then the sound files in res>raw need to be replaced with silent ones and then it needs to be recompiled. I,unfortunately do not know how to do that
I haven't, I've just been waiting for someone to post a fix or reply to this thread. I know what you mean I tried that as well but it didn't work. We should ask one of the camera guys to see if they can fix it. I have the F400S but the camera app should be the same.
EDIT:
This solved my problem

Another one here with exactly the same problem. Unrooted, stock UK M8. Only happened since OTA update to Lollipop. Also noticed this (or very similar) issue appears to sometimes affect my Pocket Casts podcast app as well.
Does no one have any idea yet why this is happening or any suggestions for a fix?
Edit: Just discovered that clearing the cache under Settings > Apps > All > Music seems to fix the issue temporarily. Soon comes back again though.
See post on other thread about this for potential fix:

I wonder if anyone managed to get the app working.
Install is fine, root access granted but in build.prop file are no matching lines to edit as described in howtos. Adding them, change NuPlayer/Awesome Player is also useless ...
Driver status is 'abnormal'.
Any ideas?

try download viper4android v2 from playstore
Anyone else getting static or what sounds like quantization noise especially while using AGC? Renaming libbundlewrapper.so didn't eliminate it.

Does viper4Android increase quality over the Dolby boom sound on m9?also does it overwrite the Dolby drivers?
Seems a little louder so far but cannot tell if quality of sound is improved at all
Installed changed to permissive etc.

Does v4a have an effect on battery?
How does its amping work?
Is it adding gain and reducing dynamic range in software (like an eq) or actually taking control of the audio hardware and passing more current?
V4A, to me at least, sounds 100% better. Gotta play with the settings, otherwise I got some crackling.

This works if you have an HTC one m7 and have tried everything. Use SeLinuxModeChanger here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=1883 it works even if you have s-on. After downloading install, Grant. unistall and reinstall viper4Android and then reboot. Success :good::good::good:
