Elimination of nag-screen, anyone? - Nextbit Robin

Has anyone found a solution of how to get rid of the 5 socond nag-screen saying that you device is insecure as it is unlocked?
I am aware that it might be more insecure, but it was my choice and I don't need to have it hammered in at every single reboot. This is very annoying and I would really appreciate if anyone had found a solution for it./arc.

Unknown Publisher

Hello,
I tried searching and got one thread in regards to this but i don't have the same registry values. I'm talking about the unknown publisher - security approval confirmation. It's really annoying - was someone able to get rid of it on their dash? Please help, thanks.
can someone help me out? i'm looking to get rid of the security approval - the one where u keep getting asked for confirmations - i've done it in the past on my imate jam and don't remember exactly how i did it. If someone could chime in, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks

setup ..run it ...and set the option for "security prompt off"
perfect, thanks so much - it's a pleasure installing apps now and not having to confirming each time. are u with rogers from canada as well? if so, what have you done until now?

Please help please

Hi
Have got a serious problem. In a nutshell I decided to upgrade my ROM using the Samsung website. Ran the updater - after getting to the stage ‘downloading file 2’ it asked me to manually soft reset the phone. So I did and nothing. By now it had reached the ‘downloading file 3’ stage however the updater then froze too. I looked at my phone and all that appeared is a black screen with picture of white phone in the middle and an overlapping solid yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside.
The phone now does not shut off/soft rest or anything. I even took battery out for five minutes but still same screen. The next problem is that I tried to run the updater again however it requires active sync and as the phone does not turn on it will not sync up.
Please can someone help with this? I am noob so please don’t suggest any soldering or hacking type methods but I can work my way round a set of clear instructions using basic software. I have spoke to Samsung who have suggested sending it to their engineer but will take two weeks just to give me a reply as to what’s wrong with it! Further if not covered I am screwed for repair costs and if covered it’s going to take ages and I need my phone back asap. As I used the Samsung website software there must be a way to solve this.
Please can all knowledgeable forum users reply as I have previously relied upon and used advice from this forum with much success. I would really appreciate it. Thanks to all in advance.
Sorry Samsung Omnia by the way
Welcome to forums
As this is an HTC devices forum only you won´t get too much atention, however in off topic there is a thread regarding samsung, perhaps there you can get more help.
Good luck,
Hi,
I suggest to ask on www.modaco.com forum, there many people have developed omina roms, so, for sure they know much more about this PDA.
Usually you should be able to enter in bootloader mode and flash a new rom but I don't know omnia. So, ask there and you'll find some answer.

VoIP

Just got a Dash recently, and I've been loving it. Been bouncing back and forth between ROMs trying to find one I like, and the one thing I've never managed to get working on any of them is VoIP.
I've been searching around trying to find a method that works, but no matter what, I never seem to succeed. With the 3VOLUTION ROM, I can get the menu to show up, but I've never managed to get farther than that.
Can anyone recommend a ROM and installation method that they know works? Or if I've managed to miss another thread just like this that's already been answered, if you could point me to it, I would be very grateful.

[Q] Mobile Access

Does anyone know of a good database app for the TP2 that can sync with Access? I've looked around for a while and haven't really found anything that suites. I was using DBAnywhere, which would be great if only they continued support for it, as it's getting a bit long in the tooth (I think it ran on WM2003!).
Any thoughts or help muchly appreciated!
ok, I assume that everyone else has found the same then!

[Q] pattern lock reset help ~ I've not forgotten it, simply want to change it

Please help me? I am by no means a developer, just a wanna be nerd with a new phone. I'm looking for pattern lock reset help ~ I've not forgotten it, simply want to change it, and while it seems like something that would be simple and obvious, it is currently not presenting itself that way and I'm more than a little frustrated with myself (and it).
Meanwhile, the first two weeks the phone seemed just fine (apart from not playing with Planet anymore, though that seems worked out now, though I'm not at all certain). Now, I'm getting a lot of security issues cropping up that seem disturbing. Verizon tech support tells me that Kitkat 4.3 has known issues in this arena that they hope will be corrected in the next update. There is a constant message about my network traffic, email, etc may be monitored by an unknown third party and to check my security certificates. Did that ~ cleared them all, but that only helped for about 10 minutes. The phone insists that it cannot get a secure connection to Facebook, so I am too wary to do much of anything online with it. Seems to defeat the purpose of even having the phone. I'm seriously considering switching back to my last smartphone and turning this one off (I do not believe that I can return it).
I'm so sorry to ramble on so, but is it insane to ask if the M8 can be pushed back to an older version of Android?!?!?
Thank you so very much for ANY help at all.
Change pattern: settings, security, click on Screen lock and enter your current pattern. Click Screen Lock again to enter a new one, then repeat to confirm, and you're done.
For the second part I have no solution I'm afraid.

He is asking for how to reset it not how to change it.And @hnvr911 you should google it.You shouldn't ask for hacks in xda.

"He" is a she... and I am not looking to hack anything at all. I am simply too daft to change my own security pattern. As I stated clearly, I have not forgotten how to unlock my phone, I would simply like to change it, and while this should be a simple and obvious task, it appears to be eluding me at present... (though I am, somehow, adept enough to have already tried the obvious tactic of "googling" the question before annoying those I presumed more clever than myself.
To the first response, I thank you for your kindness and patience, I will attempt your suggestion straight away.
Kind regards,

Have you tried following these "suggestions" ?
HOWTO Install a custom cert without "Your network could be monitored" message
How can I trust CAcert's root certificate?
Remove "Network May Be Monitored by an Unknown Third Party" in Android 4.4 KitKat
Maybe/Hopefully it'll sort out your second problem in regards to the Trusted Credentials.
Anyone htat ever needs to reset their lock if they have forgotten it or get locked out somehow, Here is my backdoor mod I created specifically for this type of situation You may not need it now but download it & save it so you will always have it with you when that time comes if it ever oes and chances are, it will!
