I didn't realize how easy this was but I wanted to make sure someone said this. If you installed gpe 5.1 from Santod, all you have to do is download "HTC service Pack" from Play store. Then Google HTC Camera apk ( I used APK Mirror) and download the Latest Camera (7.15 right now) and Latest Gallery. To my knowledge, all must be installed for it to work properly ( Without being hacked). I also installed ZOE from Play Store, but I don't believe its required.
Edit: Spoke Too soon. Camcorder Colors are Wack... hmmm...

Yes it works but no button to flash on / off. Some crash with some mode.
the app works well but can you update the base?
here's the latest version
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/zenui-...s-camera-2-0-0-150805_5-android-apk-download/
thanks mate
btw video recording doesn't work
...I think I was able to get at least manual mode working by looking at the files the app checks for. The app wants a file to exist that defines specific "ASUS" compatibility, otherwise it goes to a base level of compatibility (without manual mode). Here's how to get it:
0) Download and install the latest ASUS Camera app
1) Download a stock ROM/something based off stock
2) Extract it, and copy out "/system/framework/bspcapability.jar" (this is the file the camera app tries to open on the Zenfone)
3) Copy that file, with the same name, to the same location on your phone running CM12.1
4) For good measure, clear the ASUS Camera app's data
5) Once it re-opens, it should show manual mode. Manual shutter and focus at least work for me on the latest CM12.1, although long-term stability isn't tested.
It's a janky approach, liable to break, but since the camera blobs have the special software support and the AOSP camera_capability.xml files in the project declare support for asus_pro_mode (or something), it's easy to see why it works. Good luck!

Thanks mate, stock camera is now fully functional.
Great! Manual Mode is working perfectly! But... GIF doesnt. Maybe some libs are needed.

All Google apps should update themselves via play store. As for Google phone, can you find it on play store?
Are you talking about that one?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.dialer
the version seems to be 2.5.12_rc9
Anyway it's only for Nexus phone as all other phone use their own dialer and especially all CM rom (that's why you have to add the gapps afterward but that won't replace the dialer).
For other gapps, simply install the biggest gapps package, some google apps can only be updated, that mean if it's not pre installed, you can't install it (the purpose of the gapps). gapps micro lack a lot of google apps so use stock or super.
Edit : ok, simply use the google apps package called "stock"
https://github.com/opengapps/opengapps/wiki/Stock-Package
it will replace the dialer, the dialer you want.
have google apps under cm, but dont update the play. if i download from play than will duplicated.
am i right, that just from recovery have to install again the latest open gapps, and will up to date the phone, calculator, all google apps.
gapps will be considered as system app, the version from google play will act as an update.
Anyone suggest a better camera apk for k5+ running aex 4.4
or anyone port me the stock camera apk
Thanks in advance:good:

Can't go wrong with that site. If you want the dots fix, flash the camera libs zip and you'll be good.
